Welcome to Daisy Girl Scouts!

There is nothing that shines quite like the excitement on a Daisy’s face as she heads through her first year in Girl Scouting. From forming those new friendships, to putting that first petal on her vest, a Daisy Girl Scout is full of energy and excitement as she begins her Girl Scout journey!

As a Daisy Girl Scout, your girl will have the opportunity to make new friends, attend our many council programs and events, explore nature through outdoor activities, make a difference in her community, learn new life skills, and have FUN!

Throughout her year as a Daisy, she will learn the Girl Scout Law earning petals along the way. She will learn the importance of being honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong, responsible for what she says and does, respectful of herself and others, respectful of authority, and wise in her use of resources; all while making the world a better place and being a sister to every Girl Scout! She will also gain the confidence to try new things, discover new talents, and most importantly, be herself!

Your Daisy’s year will be one of excitement and wonder. You can stay involved in your Daisy’s journey by participating in troop activities and staying connected with local programs and events through our monthly Council email newsletter “Gateway Connect” and seasonal program guides. You can continue the Girl Scout experience at home by exploring the additional enrichment activities on girlscouts-gateway.org.
