ARCH DESIGN III- Project 2nd Year-Fall 2013
1
Process: In this project it was asked to recreate a section of the precedent house showing what part of the model was skin and membrane, also showing skeleton in a way. The design needed to incorporate design elements such as the ones used for the model to the left: rhythm and hierarchy.

2
Process:
In this project we were asked to make a site based on the original plan of our precedent house and section(s). The site would help in the design of the next project, the pavillion. We were to make more than one study model for planning and designing purposes which needed to fit into some kind of proportion, and it would all be a part of an 18 x 18 inch area.

On the top left you see a couple of few models used to plan the pavillion along with the entry and exit sequence, a representation of Hadrian’s wall and a Northwest wall to block the wind. Above to the right you see different views of the site ruins.

3
Process:
The process of this project was about a six week time period. The first task was to create a site of ruins within an 18 X 18 inch site, where the original plan and section(s) were used to create a site to then transform into a celebrative area toward the precedent house. The pavillion was then designed with the specific requirements of a wall running from East to West, a pavillion with no more than 1200 sq. ft., spaces along the way for people to congregate before arriving at the pavillion and a Northwest wall to shield the pavillion from the wind.
