NEW CIRRO S and CIRRO S-W Specifically Designed The Cirro S and Cirro S-W pads have been specifically designed for Giordana's new top-of-the-line bibs and shorts. The pairing of these two new technologies brings you bibs and shorts that stay in place and require no adjustment while in the saddle, allowing you to ride in comfort and concentrate on the open road, not your short and chamois.

Aloe Vera Technology The thickness of the chamois varies to uniquely support each area of the body that touches the saddle and is 14mm at its maximum. The uppermost layer utilizes an all-way stretch microfiber that incorporates Aloe Vera. The Aloe is permanently infused into the threads of the microfiber during the manufacturing process, using Nano technology. The integrated Aloe cools, protects and can even promote healing while you are in the saddle. In addition, Aloe Vera is a natural defender against bacteria.

CIRRO S

Four Layer Construction Below this uppermost layer is a 3mm thick open cell foam that aids in ventilation and perspiration management by moving moisture away from the skin to the outside of the short where it can evaporate rapidly. Underneath the upper layers is a highly ventilated 4mm thick, 120 density, open cell memory foam which is fused to the upper 3mm of foam. The final layer is a 7mm nonabsorbent memory foam that further aids in the movement of moisture to the outer most layer where it can evaporate.

Copa Mondiale The Cirro S features the Copa Mondiale, a recessed area sculpted for the male anatomy located at the top of the chamois, allowing you to rest gently and be supported by a soft layer of microfiber.

NXG Short Sleeve Jersey Thermal Bonding Technology

Thermal Bonding Technology (TBT) combined with cutting-edge fabric is the key element in creating Giordana’s Next Generation of innovation in cycling jersey design. The use of TBT to fuse fabric together creates the ultimate aerodynamic and lightweight fit with a smooth skin side finish which conforms to the body to create Giordana’s second skin fit.

1on1™ Paneling System

The ergonomic and comfortable fit of the NX-G Bib Short comes from the new 1on1™ Paneling System. Using one single piece of fabric, per leg, with a sole seam joined at the IT Band for maximum compression and aerodynamics, this unique construction method eliminates unnecessary seams. Compression is also maximized through the system and the longer leg length of the NX-G Short.

Gradual compression from one single panel of material is the key benefit of the new 1on1™ system in Giordana’s innovative NX-G Bib Short. Visible, specifically woven and evident while riding, the tone on tone banding of the fabric signifies the gradual compression properties of the material. The minimalistic paneling allows the fabric to massage the skin for better blood circulation eliminating the need for additional panels or leg bands, as the compression keeps the short in place from the waist to knee.

The ergonomic fit continues through the double woven v-shaped core system and u-shaped back panel system. The core systems are designed to accommodate the male anatomy in a way that eliminates the need for adjustments, working in conjunction with the new Cirro S chamois to give the perfect fit. The double woven fabric provides excellent breathability and moisture management and allows the short to fit comfortably in the riding position while keeping the chamois and short stable during long and labored efforts.

Innovative Fabric

The front of the jersey is a polyester microfiber with a 21% Lycra® content to achieve the second skin fit while providing a brushed interior which works with the body to move moisture quickly keeping the rider dry.

Unique Bib Strap Design

Rich Details

The bib short is finished with an NX-G rubber logo, reflective striping at the back of both legs, and Giordana’s new Cirro S chamois.

Textured Fabric

The back of the jersey utilizes textured microfiber which breaks the air flow thus increasing the aerodynamics. The fabric has built-in mechanical stretch for optimal fit and ceramic fiber to improve moisture management, UV protection, and antibacterial protection.

Core System

The minimalistic bib straps are constructed of a small amount of elastic combined with poly microfiber. Perforations enhance breathability, keeping the body cool and dry. The unique design of the straps keeps the short and chamois stable and in place through the fused rear straps. Each strap system is woven specifically for one pair of shorts, eliminating the need for seams and stitching. The straps create further stability and comfort as they stretch more from the top of the short to the shoulders and less from the back of the shoulders to the rear panel.

All-Way Stretch

The shoulder fabric is woven to embody an all way stretch which lies perfectly over the shoulders in the riding position and while standing, with the aid of the hammerhead shoulder design. The all-way stretch is apparent around the waist, and below the pockets, eliminating the need for elastic and providing a very soft stretch. It also virtually eliminates sagging due to the excellent return rate of the fabric.

Compression

Aerodynamics

The sleeves are slightly longer than normal and laser cut with a 7mm turn-over TBT treatment at the cuff for a soft and very thin finish which is lightweight, increases aerodynamics and comfort.

This TBT treatment is also visible at the waist of the jersey, top of the pockets and on the fabric covering of the Camlock zipper.

Strong Pockets

The three rear pockets are stable and prepared to take on the maximum amount of contents without sagging or bouncing. The fourth zippered pocket provides additional storage for valuables.

Ergonomic Collar

An ergonomically sculpted collar creates an even further aero fit while in the riding position.

Camlock Zipper

The Camlock zipper is easy to maneuver with one hand, locks in the down position, and is finished with a fabric covering for an aerodynamic and sleek look. Rich Giordana rubber logos complete the jersey.

A Bib Knicker designed for summer use may sound strange, but the EXO Bib Knickers have completely revolutionized cycling apparel by incorporating progressive muscle isolation paneling with a compressive focus.

Support the Knee, Support the Pedal Stroke

The paneling of the EXO Bib Knickers starts with knee support that facilitates uniform pedal strokes. The paneling and material support the tendons connecting the patella to the surrounding muscles, which can cause pain in many cyclists.

This helps reduce strain on the knee while offering support to help it track properly throughout the pedal stroke.

Supportive + Secure Upper System

The bib uppers are cut to be sturdy while framing the rider’s upper body as ergonomically as possible. The upper system also adds an extra level of bracing to keep the shorts in place while lying comfortably over the back and shoulders. This ensures the top of the line Cirro O.F. Targeted Compression

The paneling throughout the thighs and glutes is designed to surround, support, and compress the muscle groups to delay fatigue through the benefits of active compression. The driving force behind the compressive powers of the knickers are high quality power lycras™ like Moovix, that are deployed in the paneling to provide specifically targeted amounts of compression. This omni-directional stretch fabric creates a micro-massaging effect on the muscles that promotes blood flow during activity to help delay the onset of fatigue.

Similar compressive fabrics wrap the lower knee and calf to increase blood flow to and from the lower legs and feet.

EXO Short and Long Sleeve Jerseys Aerodynamic Fabrics

Combinations of smooth and textured materials create the ultimeate aerodynamic garment which is the new EXO jersey. The second skin fit is achieved through the ergonomic design, stretch and cut of the textured air-breaking fabric that spans from the arms to the lower back. The smooth front panel conforms to the body allowing the jersey to stay in place. Both fabrics, in addition to the breathable mesh used under the arms, maximize breathability to keep the body cool and dry.

Ergonomic Collar and Camlock Zipper

The collar further enforces the aerodynamic purpose of the jersey as it is contoured to fit the front, sides, and back of the neck ergonomically for a perfect fit. The reversed Camlock zipper is maneuverable with one hand and locks in the down position.

Cargo Support

Three rear pockets are constructed of a thin all-way stretch material that has optimal stretch and return to allow for the storage of necessary items without experiencing sag or bounce.

A pocket lip protects against the loss of small items. A wide reflective strip is placed above the pockets for visibility- this strategic placement increases aerodynamics by impeding air from entering the pockets. The waistband is completed with a thin elastic band for comfort.

Forearm Compression

The long sleeve version of the EXO jersey introduces Moovix™ ultra compression Lycra on the forearms for comfort during long rides as well as recovery rides. The material is breathable, lightweight, contains moisture management properties, and protects against UV rays.

A Two Step Solution

The waistband is engineered to work in two parts. A light rolled elastic at the front waist hem provides a light but secure tension that wraps the front torso. The rear waist hem uses a supple silicone inner gripper that secures the top back of the short.

1on1™ Paneling For Compression

The ergonomic fit is derived from 1on1™ construction- one single piece of fabric per leg with a sole seam joined at the IT Band for maximum comfort and aerodynamics while still providing compression. The fabric continues to the end of the leg for better compression and is secured into place with an under layer of thin woven elastic with strategically placed, varying sized perforations for breathability.

The entire jersey is optimized for breathability. The lightweight mesh which makes up the shoulders and sleeves allows for even further ventilation.

Whether the goal is an easy coffee ride, a bucket list gran fondo, or a cycling tour through Chianti, the Lungo Collection is designed for epic rides or anytime you need the ability to carry extra cargo. The Lungo garments will excel stylishly.

LUNGO Bib Short Gentle Compression

The remarkably soft material offers gentle compression with an ergonomic fit which comes from the use of Giordana’s 1on1™ technology, a single piece of fabric per leg with one seam on the inside of the leg for comfort and ease of wear. The stable fabric allows for an elastic free leg band. The cuff is simply turned and thermo welded for a truly seamless fit.

Core System

The technical, yet comfortable features continue through the double woven u-shaped core system and v-shaped back panel system which are designed for comfort and support around the waist and hips. The double woven fabric provides excellent breathability and moisture management while keeping the chamois and short stable during short or long efforts.

Hammerhead Shoulder Design

The back of the jersey features a modified hammerhead shoulder design which keeps the jersey in place while eliminating flapping or bunching.

Six Pockets

Giordana’s unique six pocket design is the focal point of the Lungo jersey, with three rear pockets, two easily accessible side pockets, and a sixth non-zippered pocket for small items such as gels and bars. The main five pockets all benefit from the pocket lip which protects against the loss of valuables.

Visibility

Reflectivity is also a star of this jersey, with reflective piping around both cuffs, below the pockets, and on the opening of the sixth pocket. The increased visibility is perfect for commuting as well as long rides that start before sunrise or go into dusk.

Rich Accents

The shorts are constructed of a textured woven fabric which wraps the leg with two panels. This supports the quad and the glutes separately and provides compression to reduce muscle fatigue as well as a cooling effect. The core system stabilizes the short while accommodating the waist and hips for a comfortable fit that stays in place.

Bib Straps and Leg Cuffs

LoPro 0™ soft wide elastic-microfiber bib straps are seamless, comfortable and supportive and feature the 190 Mesh™ at the center of the bib uppers which moves moisture and keeps the body cool and dry. The leg cuffs are 4.5cm in width and are constructed of soft woven elastic, which stays in place while remaining soft and non-restrictive.

Moisture Wicking Fabrics

The primary jersey fabric is soft and comfortable with excellent moisture management properties due to the specific weave of the interior and exterior. This creates channels that move moisture away from the body to the outside of the jersey where it can evaporate. The breathable mesh appears under the arms, on the side panels, lower back, and rear pockets. The three pockets feature a lip to protect against the loss of small items. Both fabrics contain UV protection and antibacterial properties.

Soft Woven Elastic

The arm cuffs are 4.5cm in width and are constructed of soft woven elastic, which stays in place while remaining soft and non-restrictive. by Ralph Schurmann of Munster, Germany, the track was completed in 2012 and has already hosted two U.S. National Track Cycling Championships. The Giordana Velodrome is going to be the center of a residential area, of which the construction is still in progress. The cuffs are held gently in place with a soft turned hem and the waist is secured with soft jacquard elastic that includes a comfortable microfiber interior. The three rear cargo pockets feature a lip to protect against the loss of small items. The reversed Camlock zipper is easily maneuverable and locks in the down position. Rubber Giordana logos complete the jersey
