Furniture with heart and passion It is the elegant Scandinavian furniture design and the long tradition for making quality furniture in Denmark, which motivates Heidi and Anders Wiinberg. They founded Wiinberg in 2008 and run their family business to be able to share this passion with customers in the entire world. Each and every piece of furniture has therefore been developed in close collaboration with the Danish cabinetmakers, who share their love of wood and craftsmanship.

From wood to furniture Furniture production in Denmark still contains a great deal of craftmanship and individual assessment of the structure and colour of the wood. Machines do the cutting of the tree and routing of the details. These machines are mainly powered by windmills, and production of the Teve shelving system is CO2 neutral. The rest of the work is done by hand. Before the furniture is ready for the customer, it goes through a final quality check, sanding and oil or stain treatment. The furniture is dispatched from our distribution center to the stores and all Wiinberg products are designed to be transported with a minimum of wasted space in the boxes. This does not only save costs but also ensures a minimum impact on the environment.

His works include stoves, unique installation furniture, industrial design and furniture.

The design Teve is an alternative to the dominant square idiom within shelving system design. The design is inspired by televisions from the 1950´s. The rounded shapes adds character and accentuates the grain and unique personality of each piece of wood. The beautiful silhuets of the units create a powerful yet discreet presence in any interior. An important point about the design, is to literally “think out of the box”. The large spaces between the units are also meant for storage. This adds a special effect, when the modules are full of books for example.
2-4
2-5
About Teve Teve consists of just 3 units. Together they provide endless combination possibilities. The units can furthermore be used as a free standing furniture, for example as a bedside table, coffee table or in the hall. Teve is produced in the following solid woods: oak with white oil, natural oil, black stain or smoked and in an exclusive edition in American walnut.
2-6
2-7
Indentations in the top of the units makes it possible to stack the units as building blocks. With Teve you can therefore design your personal shelving system. You can add endless units and even build around corners or exchange the legs with others of different lengths. A very discrete wall-fixture in stainless steel secures the units when stacked high. If you choose Teve as free standing furniture, you just order the units without indentations in the top. This gives the free standing unit a smooth and elegant look and makes cleaning of the furniture easier.
2-8
2-9
The legs of Teve can be ordered separately and are attached very easily without tools. Order long, medium, or short legs depending on your needs. Or exchange legs between your existing unit! If you order a set of Teve units containing 3 units: one small, one medium and one large, they are delivered in one box, fitting within each other. This way the transport has a minimum impact on the environment.

Solid wood furniture, general information
Technical information and maintenance When receiving the furniture
Wood has, with its many qualities, always been the most appreciated material for producing furniture.
The Teve units are delivered either as single pieces of furniture or as sets containing 3 different sizes: small, medium and large.
Remember that wood has variety of colour shades and every piece has its own character.
To attach the legs to the unit, screw them into in the threads under the bottom of the unit.
Guarantee
Make sure that the Teve units are standing securely on the floor. If the floor slopes a little, it can be necessary to apply 2 Teve special legs with adjustment screws in the lower part (additional buy) . These are attached where needed and adjusted until the unit stands level. If more Teve units are stacked, we recommend to fasten all the units, that are off the floor, with special Teve wall brackets.
Wood is a natural material, that can change at different temperatures and humidities. It can expand, withdraw or shift differently in every piece of wood in the each furniture. We offer no guarantee to smaller differences in the wood or smaller shifts. The Teve units are treated with either oil or stain. This delays aging and fade coursed by direct sunlight. Take good care of your furniture, this ensures it can last for generations.
Cleaning Clean the Teve shelves with a clean, dry cloth. Never put wet or hot things on the Teve units. Oil Apply when needed, special oil for wood, on the surface. Apply the oil in a thin layer, then wipe off with clean, dry cloths. Follow the instruction on the oil.
Gallery We would like to show how our customers furnish their homes with the Teve units. Henrik Lissau ”I believe in the sun – also when it is not shining”. These are the words of Henrik Lissau, son of the founder of the company Th. Lissau A/S, Jydsk Rullegardinfabrik in 1922. It is a very appropriate describtion of both his products and his approach to life. The factory produced exclusive wooden blinds, designed by Henrik. Later he designed the Lissau shelving system, the design of which shared the airy elegant design language of the wooden blinds. During the proces of reinventing and reintroducing the Lissau shelving system, Heidi Wiinberg and cabinetmaker Michael Falkenberg gently updated the product range to modern standards. Heidi has since then designed the daybed Daydream to complement the product range.

The design The Lissau shelving system is a true Nordic furniture classic, that invites air and light into the room. It is also a piece of furniture, that lasts for generations. Made from solid wood and with a very strong construction, it is practically indestructible. The uncompromising craftsmanship we owe to generations of Danish cabinetmakers.

About the Lissau shelves The Lissau shelves are constructed by thin wooden battens, that shifts from vertical to horizontal, and meets in all the corners of the shelf. This creates the light and elegant and yet durable construction of the Lissau shelves. The Lissau shelves is produced as wall mounted shelves, bookshelves, office shelves , square shelves and wine racks. All the types of shelves can be made in customized sizes and combinations.

3-7
You can choose between the solid oak, pine, mahogany, ash, smoked ash or cherry. You can also choose between the following finishes: black stain on solid oak, solid ash with white or black top or solid oak with white oil. In addition to all the standard sizes, you can also choose to design your own shelf in the size you prefer. That is as flexible as it gets.

About Daydream The characteristic daybed has always been popular. All the way back in the 1850´s, the adventurer Dr. Livingstone loved to rest on a spartan daybed under the open sky on the African savannah. Daydream is Wiinbergs edition of a comfortable and beautiful daybed. The design is brave , and with a light and Nordic idiom, that suits the stylish expression in the modern Danish home. Daydream looks its best both in the livingroom and in the private library. It is perfect for a power nap and for reading the daily paper. Daydream comes in several solid woods and in a variety of textiles, with buttons in matching or different colours.

Vendia dining table This solid wood table is intended for 6 dining chairs. The design with 3 legs seems less directional determinative than 4 legs. The tabletop has a slight organic shape. The intention is to arouse the user’s understanding of a geometric round shape. The table top was designed inspired by sand abrased pebbles. The shape is round, but because of its organic shape it is experienced differently depending on perspective. In addition, the table top has a smooth profile that varies, and thus emphasizes its organic shape.
