After all, if we can’t afford a designer piece, we can always find the perfect cargo pants at leading vintage stores or at second-hand markets. So, it’s accessibility on the one hand and wearability on the other. Simple and practical, with this trend it is possible to team widely different garments with one another: a two-piece suit with a safari jacket for the office, colonial bermudas for the weekend and a camouflage mini worn with stilettoes for an aperitif. Africa Special è una città del Kenya, capoluogo dell’omonimo distretto ed è situata sulla costa orientale dell’Oceano Indiano, a nordest di Mombasa. Il clima è tropicale, ma in molti periodi dell’anno, come giugno e settembre, l’umidità è mitigata dalla presenza dell’oceano. Da paesino di pescatori si è trasformato in pochi anni in uno dei più ambiti ed esclusivi luoghi di villeggiatura del mondo. Non attirano solo le bellezze del mare, e della incredibile barriera corallina che varrebbe da sola un viaggio, ma anche le oasi di verde nell’entroterra, dove è possibile scovare angoli dalla bellezza mozzafiato. In particolare, il safari in Kenya è una delle mete più ambite non tanto dai cacciatori, che non possono più uccidere gli animali del posto che rischiavano l’estinzione, quanto dai fotografi, che hanno l’opportunità di immortalare le bellezze del Kenya, il fascino selvaggio delle sue pianure, gli animali feroci che vivono nella savana. Sul litorale e sulle spiagge si incontrano facilmente dei ragazzi del posto noti col nome di Beach Boys, che per vivere vendono escursioni, gite in barca o safari a prezzi più interessanti, oltre a permettere di entrare in pieno contatto con la realtà locale. Punto di forza di Malindi è anche la vita notturna: oltre al rinomato Casinò, decine di bar e discoteche allietano le serate dei numerosi turisti; i vari villaggi la sera offrono spettacoli di Acrobati, cori Gospel, Danze dei Masai o dei Giriama, la principale tribù della costa. Per i più mondani, non c’è che l’imbarazzo della scelta: i locali più famosi sono lo Stardust, il Lenas ed il Fermento, oltre a numerosissimi altri caffè, ristoranti e pub. Politicamente e socialmente stabile, vicino a tutte le località più interessanti e in grado di offrire un ottimo livello di qualità delle strutture alberghiere. Se ciò che si cerca in un viaggio è la ricerca della natura più inviolata, la scelta migliore è il Senegal: porta dell’ Africa al confine fra il deserto e la foresta tropicale, all’estremo ovest del continente africano. Una terra unica in cui il mare, la savana, le maestose foreste e le spiagge di sabbia bianca si fondono intrecciandosi senza fine. La natura è ancora ricca e incontaminata: imponenti baobab, paletuvieri, mangrovie, ondeggianti palmeti, alberi coralli e profumati eucalipti fanno da

corona a sfavillanti buganvillee gialle, rosse ed arancio, maestoso tra tutti il bombax, le cui tormentate ramificazioni terrestri raggiungono a volte più di 2 metri di diametro. Grazie ad una rigorosa politica di salvaguardia della natura, il Senegal ha saputo conservare nei suoi sei parchi nazionali ogni tipo di fauna ed è persino riuscito a sviluppare alcune specie africane in via d’estinzione. Così, oggi, il Senegal conta più di 450 specie differenti di animali, fra cui il leone e l’elefante, senza dimenticare le gazzelle e le scimmie. Mozzafiato il Lago Retba, a nord di Dakar, il cui colore è rosa fucsia: luogo unico al mondo, le sue acque sono caldissime con una salinità simile a quella del Mar Morto, quindi tutto ciò che si trova sul

lago galleggia. Gran parte del territorio è coperto dalla Savana: al nord il paesaggio si desertifica e si intravedono le prime dune che annunciano il deserto della Mauritania. Il Senegal è un Paese dalle mille sfaccettature, dove gli occhi sconfinano verso l’orizzonte brillante dell’Oceano, lo sguardo si perde nelle mistiche foreste di baobab e il calore della gente riscalda il cuore. mmaginate un luogo in cui il cielo non vi sovrasta, vi attraversa; l’aria non si respira, si assapora; il tempo scorre, non corre. Il romanticismo, uno dei sentimenti più forti e importanti della nostra esistenza viene ben rappresentato nel giardino, che è il luogo dove meglio si racchiude e si esalta. Il giardino è vita, colori, odori. I colori sono il verde dei prati e la completa gamma cromatica che ci offrono fiori, boccioli, frutti e infiorescenze. Ed è in questo segmento bucolico che si inseriscono gli stilisti per attingere a piene mani da quelle atmosfere iper rilassanti, armoniose e gioiose che solo un giardino fiorito riesce ad infondere Le stampe bucoliche riportate su abbigliamento e accessori non fanno che esaltare la linfa vitale, la freschezza e l’allegria che è in ognuno di noi. Volendo continuare a percorrere questo divertente parallelismo tra architettura del giardino e moda, possiamo vedere esempi eclatanti di varie tipologie di Dior

first Infiniti vehicle equipped with a new information and entertainment system called Connectivity. In the GT version it has a powerful seven-speakers audio system with CD/MP3 player, 2 GB Music Box, iPod/USB compatibility, voice operated Bluetooth® connection, Infiniti steering-wheel operated automatic transmission with seven gears, parking sensors and rear view cameras.
