TAKSIM MIXED USE PROJECT 3002 STUDIO PROJECT 2019 MENTOR: İREM MARO KIRIŞ TAKSIM/ISTANBUL
Project area is located on Taksim. The area location is examined and design is shaped according to these elements. Due to the location on Istiklal, a modern building design that respects and references the historical texture is aimed. The first factor taken into consideration during the mass formation was the continuation of the continuity of the harmony of the surrounding buildings and Istiklal. With the natural reference given by the slope, terraces were made in the Project. Bosphorus and sunlight direction are other important design elements. The social, cultural and commercial elements of the city were brought together and the idea of the space is for the society. For this reason, it is aimed to bring the Bosphorus which is not visible from Istiklal Street to the public. Sea view part of the project is designed in such a way that people can get away from the crowds and high buildings of İstiklal. There are many areas with different functions; blackbox theater scenes, cafes, restaurants, shops, exhibition areas and art school. The facade and material are designed to respect the historical fabric. At the back, a modern design is aimed with vertical elements references taken from Istiklal.

HAYAT MOSQUE
ADDOFFICE PROFESSIONAL COMPETITION 2019 MENTOR: ADDOFFICE TURKEY A Place of Worship I Mosque It emphasizes itself in the meaning of the word “collecting, gathering, putting together”. In addition to worship, mosques have formed the whole of places where people gather, gather and feel the feeling of togetherness. Project Area I Learning from the Ground The fact that the building belongs to the "place" and makes it feel like it is always there was one of the focal points of the project. Courtyard and archaic building typology, open circulation system, massive terraces coming together, terraces, shady passage spaces specific to the spirit of urban space; narrow streets; In addition to creating the identity of the region, it also gives clues about life-climate and structural interaction. Formation and Segmentation I Settlement In the project area, which has a linear form, the surrounding street tracks have been maintained in order to maintain urban continuity. After the pedestrian axes received have been divided into the project area, two axes, namely 'qibla axis' and 'ground axis', have been defined in order to use the area effectively. The spatial potential of the area was evaluated by making the main settlement in the direction of 'ground axis', and the place of worship was located in the direction of 'qibla'. On the axis of the city square, a courtyard was designed to define worship and social functions. The arcad system, which feeds the courtyard, creates shady streets as a precaution against hot climate. The ceiling tile of the worship mass is designed as a geometric depiction of the dome structure, which is no longer a structural necessity. The prayer body, which is quite simple and modest, is illuminated with the mentioned geometric openings and this strengthens the perception of eternity. While the commercial street is connected to the courtyard, it is also designed to work with the commercial structure in the surrounding parcel and the shops belonging to the building are located on this axis. Front Character I Identity In order to strengthen the sense of respect and belonging to the “place”, the characteristic basalt stone of the region was used on the front. Facade openings are designed in a controlled manner due to the climate characteristics of the southeast region.

MAHALLE MOSQUE
ADDOFFICE PROFESSIONAL COMPETITION 2019 MENTOR: ADDOFFICE TURKEY Overview - On Mosque Architecture and Its Concept
The word masjid means “prostrated place”. In the field of Islamic worship, which has the main idea of creating the widest ranks in the direction of the Qibla in a courtyard, there is no spatial coercion in this sense, but simplicity and semantic abstraction can be perceived. In this context, the place of worship in the design has been reduced to the essence and no form concern has been made.
Placement Decisions
The project area is located in the Southeastern Anatolia Region. In this context, the climate data of the land and the region are examined. In the project area, the continuity of circulation was provided by continuing the pedestrian axis coming from the city. In line with this axis, a courtyard gap was opened by interpreting the traditional courtyard typology on a neighborhood scale. The 7 meter elevation difference in the land offers different sections at this point. The water element was taken inside the floor elevation in the place of worship, which has a unique atmosphere. This place of worship, which is plain and unpretentious, reflects the essence of Islamic philosophy, and with this state, it has created an attraction space that is free from the outside world and invites. The place of worship creates a feeling of being there all the time with its plain and buried form, thereby strengthening the sense of belonging. The masses surrounding the place of worship and the courtyard of the neighborhood were covered with a fringe. Thus, the place of worship came into contact with the ground and gently attached to the land. While the upper eave defines a shady exterior, it symbolizes the orientation towards the Creator with its sky rising. The building is designed as a meeting point where the neighborhood courtyard and the neighborhood community meet. The water element used in the neighborhood courtyard creates a calm atmosphere while providing air conditioning. The “cypress tree” is the symbol of human life's efforts to exist from birth to death and to be one. The cypress tree is symbolically identified with the minaret. For this reason, the minaret was designed with the abstraction of the cypress tree and was located in the courtyard of the neighborhood.
Facade and Material
42
Facade partitions and materials are very straight forward, designed to be free of exaggeration and exaggeration. Facade openings are kept at the maximum level to ensure air conditioning. The facade material is basalt stone extracted from the region.

AFTER 100 YEARS
World scenario which has become uninhabitable due to acid rain WORLD / 2118 This project is about our world 100 years from now. Unfortunately, we are devastating to our world and nature, so after 100 years the world will become almost untouchable. Although it is not known exactly how, 100 years later, in our world, various natural disasters can be realized if we continue to devastate our world. According to my scenario, the fossil fuel wastes that we use a lot in the natural water cycle will cause acid rain. As a result of the burning of fossil fuels such as coal and oil, sulfur and nitrogen containing gases will accumulate in the atmosphere. Due to these acid rains, the living quarters we use now cannot meet our needs. We will need living units that are suitable for new conditions. This design has been designed to prevent acid rain and to create a suitable space for human life and to live in the possible world. Therefore, the upper side is wider and the material used is resistant to acid rain. It is designed to cover open areas in the life unit. Modeled was done 3D and laser cutting. We hope that we protect our world and such natural disasters never happen.

SEA SCIENCE MUSEUM PROJECT 4002 STUDIO PROJECT 2020 MENTOR: TANSU ACIMERT MAÇKA/İSTANBUL
Project area is located on Maçka. The area location is examined and design is shaped according to these elements. Due to the location on Maçka Park, a modern building design that respects and references the historical texture is aimed. With the natural reference given by the slope, terraces were made in the Project. Bosphorus and sunlight direction are other important design elements. There is gasholder structure near to project area so I wanted to use it with new function which is a pool for divers. Sea science museum has different functions, such as laboratories, library for searchers and students. Project has a coffee shop and restaurant that are looking to bosphorus view. Museum part of the projects has different exhibition areas. It is divided 3 different areas; temporary exhibition, dynamic permanent exhibition and static permanent exhibition areas. It has special exhibition area into water. Pool which is located middle part of project, is connected with the gas holder with pool function. It is aimed to give different and special sense of experience. The facade and material are designed to respect the historical fabric. A modern design is aimed with vertical window elements.

CIHANGIR APARTMENT PROJECT 2002 STUDIO PROJECT 2018 MENTOR: AHMET ERGELEN CIHANGIR/İSTANBUL
We are working on Cihangir. In site analyses, I searched user profile and I saw that kids and elderly are minority in Cihangir and there are not enough place for them. So my scenario depends this issue. And I create a semi-public place that is used by kids and old people. There are 2 main purposes of this place; one of them provide life energy for old people. The other one satisfy the need of love for both of them. And I add a funicular system for them because the slope is not good for elderly and funicular separete public garden and apartment garden. Also I add the slope to the my mass in order for gardens go take advantages from sun light. I did not add different form to street facade because streeet has a harmony so I did not want to change it. And I do not want to show facades of near houses so I play with mass so this volute form was occured. Also I add the form to front facade for showing entrances and circulation area of the apartment.

MUKOGAWA UNIVERSITY STUDENT HALL PROJECT MUKOGAWA UNIVERSITY STUDIO PROJECT SUMMER-2019 MENTORS:TOMOKO UNO & MURAT DĂœNDAR NISHINOMIYA/JAPAN
This project was created for mukogawa women's university in Japan. It a student hall for university, it is located garden of the university. While designing this project, the De stijl architecture was inspired.Traditional Japanese houses and De stijl architecture has same functions. In the project, verticality and horizontality were emphasized first. The interior has also provided continuity, and an interior space that continues to the user is defined. For this reason, the spaces are defined only by the walls not separated by doors. The water element, which is in traditional Japanese architecture, is interpreted differently and placed in the entrance parts of the project. The aim was to design a space in the interior where students can feel comfortable and enjoy themselves. For this, a library with 1 amphitheater area and different resting areas has been added. The main concept of Arata Endo, the student of Tadao Ando, is to design a student house compatible with Koshien Kaikan and respect the building. HAND DRAWN PROJECT

A STATION FOR STUDENT COMPETITION 2018 BAHCESEHIR UNİVERSITY -‘’Second Award’’
A WORKING,SITTING AND EXHIBITION ELEMENTS FOR BAU NORTH CAMPUS This competition asked to design a station for students from us. Firstly, I examined the area where the project will be happen. I tried to look over the needs of the area and students, and I tried to do my best for design the most suitable chair unit. When I examined the school, I identified the needs as follows; - Classic table top should has a different design when we considered that; this is a architecture faculty. They should be different but, at the same time compatible. - There should be enough space when needed, and when we do not need, there should be little space. There should be a match between our needs and design. - The tables just should be there for work, and for our goods (bags, laptop, etc.) there will be a place under the table. In this way you feel comfortable without compression. - Yes, it should be comfortable but for me comfortable means there is no restrictive. You can adjust the backrest to your need. - It should be handy/convenient when it comes to jury time. What I mean is; You should be able to put your model and poster on your project and get ready to do presentation in a short time. You should not waste your time to paste the papers on the wall. - When we considered all these needs, finally I gave my decision about my design. - So, the design is modular and easily stored.....
