The endangered species I chose to write about is a large mammal. It is not known by its color, but its upper lip. It lives in South and Central Africa where the climate is very warm. It also has thick skin and two large horns. The endangered species I am doing is the Black Rhinoceros.
As the Rhinoceros grazes on the Plateau it is being hunted for its magnificent horn. The reason people want to have the horn is so either they can keep it as a prize, or carve jewelry out of it. There are so many people that have hunted it its population has dropped by 96% since 1970.
Carefully, the five hunters track the animal by its scat. They follow the foul stench of the Rhinoceros, but unfortunately this is the hunters first time hunting the Rhinoceros and may lose their lives. They have finally recovered the Rhinoceros but their prey has spotted them and charges with its sharp horn. Unfortunately the hunters have been hunted.
