development of grain intake and drying storage facilities at the Monasterevin plant. In ���� it became one of the major grain handling branches in the region and was used for the storage of intervention grain. In that same year – the first of the New Millennium – Monasterevin Creamery was awarded the highly prestigious ISO Quality Mark for growing, dairy and dry stock farming as well as agricultural hardware.

2003 – Celebrating 40 Successful Years There were celebrations held in May ���� as the creamery celebrated �� years of successful trading. Then on July �, ���� there was further reason for celebration at Monasterevin with the opening of the revamped CountryLife Monasterevin Store. The new CountryLife store included a new Garden Centre, along with providing all the inputs and services needed for grain growing, dairy and dry stock farming as well as agricultural hardware. Country life today is a busy, vibrant branch and plays a big part in the local community of Monasterevin. CountryLife Monasterevin will continue to adapt to the needs of local customers the Monasterevin and surrounding areas. Helena Doherty, horticulturist at CountryLife Monasterevin commented on how “it’s great to see the integration of the farming, gardening and lifestyle aspects of Glanbia CountryLife Monasterevin come together.” The CountryLife Garden Centre was recently awarded three-star accreditation for the Garden Centre at the National Amenity Horticulture Quality Awards on March � ����.
