The store began as a shop offering our dogs, so we chose to name it “U&R Dogs.” It’s a small shop run by twosome. I began to make my accessories for my own outfitting. These are very realistic and fit well for everyday clothes. We think it’s a series of the smallest things brought together that make one good thing, so we are happy to be among the numerous individuals who contribute to Relay For Life’s cause. Our Jewelries have no blings, but spark finely. Please come and see the twinkle that you can’t make out from the poster.

My name was inspired by a combination of things that we can’t remember as we had several names and this is the one we felt would suit us better. My brand conveys the spirit of elegance, sophistication, causal yet smart. I do not have any previous story with RFL but anything which helps worthwhile causes, I feel is our duty, to at least support in any way we can. We are a brand within SL that offers you what you desire, to look sophisticated when you’re out for the evening and to feel casual yet smart during the day. House of Windsor Collection is about believing that you are beautiful.

On the topic of Relay For Life, I have a particular story. my father died of cancer when I was eight. No child should go through that. I have been involved with RFL fundraising activities for 3 years in SL now. To those who are discovering me for the first time at the Accessory Fair 2010, I would say… “what took you so long?”

I haven’t got to participate yet, the time I wanted to my computer blew up. I have been in the Jewelry Fair 2009 and helped the cause supported by the fair back then. I consider my brand to provide creative designs, a bit boho, and as close to reality as possible. While I do not have a particular story with Relay For Life, I did host a donation kiosk in the past as well as donated myself. I would like to encourage shoppers to support and protect creativity, what means to enjoy SL!

PRODUCE Bliensen was the dog of my great-grandmother - when I was looking for a name for my store I just had found this awesome photo of him (see logo). To combine it with something from my second life I added the name of my beloved though now retired shoulder dragon, a bitchy reptile-lady named MaiTai. My brand is all about originality, craziness, it is the combination between old and new, vintage and virtuality. I started with designing stuff for role-players, first for postapocalyptic themes - jewelry and accessories made of junk like bottle caps or broken light bulbs. Later I tried to add some vintage flair - and I love to combine relics of the past with SL-Design - like antique em-
broidery made by one of my ancestors for a scripted jewelry set. On the topic of Relay For Life, I have lost family members to cancer, so I support fundraisers like this of course. If you meet me at the Accessory Fair 2010, let me tell you this: enjoy SL, stay away from drama and feel free to buy my stuff!

‘Epoque’ in french stands for something of another era, and in some contexts can mean something that is ‘vintage.’ My brand is a combination of youth and sophistication, presented in a simplistic and stylish way. Last year, I was part of the team ‘Indie Rock for RFL’ and donated an item to be auctioned. My brand is meant to be extremely versatile. All of my accessories in my collection are meant to compliment almost anything you wear. Most things come in a wide array of colors and some even include a texture change HUD for quick and easy access.

I love abandoned buildings so naming my business “Haunted” seemed an obvious choice. Zuzu came from Zuzu’s Petals from “It’s a Wonderful Life”. Together - something sweet with something a bit more gothic they represent what I strive to create in SL. Like the reflection of the name, my brand is sometimes sweet, but sometimes more goth. Lately I’ve been very inspired by lace and flowers, but tomorrow it could be cobwebs. RFL is a great fundraising event for finding a cure for a disease that touches so many. I’m so proud that SL raises so much money each year. If you are discovering me with the Accessory Fair 2010, I hope you find that special something to set off your outfit, have a lot of fun, and buy some great RFL items!

PRODUCE When I was still new to Second Life, I had always wanted to learn how to create things. I find the world of design fascinating. When one of my friends honored me with the nickname, LacieCakes, I said if I ever owned a business that’s what I would call it. In 2007, that’s exactly what happened! I originally opened up a photography studio, but June of 2008 was when I made my very first piece of jewelry and I haven’t stopped since. Over the years, my store has been evolving and I couldn’t be happier! I like to offer cool features with fun, unique, quality and affordable jewelry and accessories available for men, women and kids. With most of my jewelry I tend to focus on realism, basically something that
you can see yourself wearing on a day to day basis. My involvement in Relay for Life hits close to home, I know a lot of people affected by cancer. My grandfather passed away after a long struggle with it as well as a close family friend. It’s a very difficult thing to go through so I’m happy to offer support in any way I can. If you’re at the fair, be sure to stop by my booth and say “Hello!”. I’ll most likely be there to see if anyone has any questions or needs any help. If I’m not there, some of my CSR’s might be. In any event, I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I enjoy making them.

I wanted my brand to say that ‘we sell jewelry’ without simply saying that. Faceted designs are fun, eclectic, and bold, without being obnoxious. I hope people discovering the brand for the first time, will find an item that completes their look, but more importantly complements their personality. To me SL is about a true expression of self, and I hope to bring a little of that to every piece I create. I would be hard pressed to say that cancer has not affected my life, though I have no real connection to Relay For Life, I greatly appreciate the presence of the charity in Second Life. They make it very easy for people to donate.

Magpies have a reputation for liking shiny things, and I do too! In my case, “shiny” is a metaphor for anything of beauty that catches the eye, it was my inspiration to name my shop “Magpie.” My product line is colorful fun and whimsy, I never take myself too seriously. If I have to talk about my personal experience with Relay For Life, I don’t think there is anyone these days who has not known someone dealing with cancer in some form or another. My heart is touched by all my friends and family who struggle through this kind of illness. Regarding my second life experience in general, I have to confess that I am in awe of some of the tremendous talent that I see around me in SL every day. I am very honored by anyone who takes a moment to look at and enjoy my work.

PRODUCE The name for the shop was inspired by our personal perception of effects in Second Life. We didn’t want to use recommended settings for our graphic card and I set them up on the highest possible level, what caused in the end that every avatar I saw had this magical light around them. “Glow” was part of our world for so long and inspired many of our products at beginning. Plus we really like word “Glow”. Our brand is synonym of avantgarde, unique style. Our focus on the customer and creativity is the essence and driving force behind our brand. When we started our main goal was to keep it fresh and original. We wanted to create something different then everyone
else was doing at the time. We were looking for our Niche at the market. Our success and grow was possible due to the support we got from our customers and passion we have for design. “Glow” brand is based on collaboration of three different designers and mix of our style. We have a little different design approach but in the end we all try to make it work nicely together. We do not have a particular story with Relay For Life, but we do love to support this great cause. Lastly, we want to thank our customers for help they give us and we also feel so humbled by the numerous messages of support that we have received. There are three “glow” girls, we cooperate with each other to create the unique shop in SL!

EarthStones... It came to me in a dream. Honestly, It was pretty much a no-brainer. EarthStones defines so much about who I am, what I’m drawn to, what inspires me, what touches my soul. I’ve always been in awe of all the nature that makes up this beautiful planet of ours, so stone jewelry is a natural love for me. PRODUCE I am a RL photographer, using a digital single lens reflex camera. I do have a website where I share the “world in my digital eyes”. I entered SL to open a gallery called Digital Eyes Gallery. Later, under the gallery I opened my store and kept the name Digital Eyes. The brand is inspired by my real life and past. The spirit is: music and dance. I work at night in the music electronic scene (as label manager and tour manager for DJs) around the world and I always had hand fans and I always dance with them. So in SL one of the 1st things I made was fans to go clubbing or simply fan myself. I also do showgirl outfits because I like to wear feathers sometimes. And the haircuts are inspired by the fake hair I used to add when
I was a stage dancer. On the topic of Relay For Life, I am a RFL team captain, and always ready to support other teams as we all go hand in hand in the same direction. Digital Eyes fans and hand fans are original products, not copied from RL or other designs. They are detailed tiny prims assembled following a design out of my imagination. So it’s original fashion accessories for those of you who want to add class and style to your look. For me fans and dance fans can be worn in all situations, from jeans with sneakers to beautiful couture gown with stilettos. My last words… “Go Relay for Life 2010!”

The staff of Gems & Kisses is a family, where many models live together, who belong to many agencies sometimes very different from each other. Anyway, no one of our models is anonymous; we try to bring their strong points. We are important artistic performers of our creations. The positive things are more important than negatives one, and sometimes the one that seems drama will be resolved with a little bit of humor and a healthy laugh. Our target is to satisfy our customers and offer to them the maximum support, with cordiality and professionalism. I
have never participated in Relay For Life, real or virtual, this is the first time. I know the event and the cause they support. Actually, professionally, I am involved in science and i’ve had ways to study, by the different levels, the cancer topic. In particular, I’ve interest for the multi-therapeutic approach which uses the new technologies. I understand the cancer pathology is really complex, first of all in the research point of view, because it involves the comprehension of genetic mechanism which are partially noticed, also for the therapeutic point of view, because treating of cell proliferation without control, is necessary an encounter with different branches of scientific knowledge for planning as better a therapeutic plan and alleviate the suffering of patient. Finally, but absolutely important, for the human point of view, because is very important support those who are sick in this battle as well as their families. Welcome in to the Gems & Kisses family.

On the topic of Relay For Life… I had someone who was very close to me die from brain cancer in real life. It was a tough go, it was something I wish I could just fix and make it go away. Since I can’t, I support charities in real life for that and I admire those that help in this

ROZOREGALIA started in October 2008 by us, Yumi Paush and ROZOREGALIA Braveheart. The store name ‘ROZO’ means ‘RED’ and ‘REGALIA’ means ‘the symbol of throne’, added that the word means ‘the power of spirit’. We love reading, and find our inspiration from proverbs, poems, music, paintings and etc. Each collection has an interesting theme. For example,’ROSENKAVALIER’ collection was inspired by a famous opera. It means “the knight of rose”; “CORNUCOPIA” collection was based on the Greek mythology, it is a symbol of food and abundance. ‘Vinca’ collection is a Latin word that means “bond”. The term itself is latin for “the thing speaks for itself” and it just stuck in my mind during my first year at law school. I changed the Res to Rez as my own little SL/law joke, and replaced Loquitur with Loc both because Loquitur is just too long and complicated, and because Loc goes with my hair-making better. I strive to make wearable yet stylish hair styles. Something that you could see someone in real life, walking down the street, wearing. Actually, I get most of my inspiration for hair styles from those I see on the subway every day. I have a small history with RFL. When I was an undergrad I used to walk the Relay for Life event at

On the topic of Relay For Life, my father passed away from leukemia, and my family has always been strong supporters of the American Cancer Society - so yes, this hits very close to home for me. Losing my father
to cancer, as well as a handful of other family members, this is, something I feel the drive and need to do - every $L earned leads to US$ earned, and that is given to ACS/RFL - something alaMood, and myself are very passionate about. PRODUCE It’s a mix of my SL name and my products line, since I do sell couture. My SL name is actually a combo of my rl kids’ so I liked the idea of naming my store after them as well. {AHC} AlexanderHunter’s Couture brings to SL class and excellence with just a hint of sexiness for both men and women... haute couture and accessories inspired by real life’s top designers, and hairstyles and skins inspired by such popular real life TV shows as Gossip Girl, Launch My Line, and The City. I feel particularly implied when evoking the topic of Relay For Life, since cancer runs in my family on both sides. My maternal great-grandmother died of colon cancer, and my paternal grandmother died of pancreatic cancer. Also, my
mother-in-law died of breast cancer. So I’m happy to join the Accessory Fair 2010, that will be raising funds for the cause. The wonderful thing about SL is how it allows you to wear all the things you wished you could afford in RL. {AHC} builds upon that ability by bringing you designs inspired by RL top designers so that you can dress with RL class and style at a tiny fraction of the cost. “ Prims and optics” inspired the name of my brand. Since 2006, primOptic eyewear is one of the first designers of glasses and sunglasses in Second Life. PrimOptic eyewear is committed to bringing you glasses that not only look good, but also make themselves essential to your everyday Second Life. Our leading range of eyewear is patiently crafted only with standard prims. Because of this, even the most sophisticated pair of primOptic glasses loads faster than sculpted prim glasses and looks much better than blurry texture glasses. I don’t have any story related to Relay For Life as of yet, but I do support it the cause and I am happy to donate whenever I can.

I am not good when it comes to deciding a name. I did not think deeply about it and I went for “SPICA”. The spirit of my brand is all about individuality and fabrication technology. I have not participated in Relay For Life in the past, and I am happy to support the cause through the first edition of the Accessory Fair. I hope that you visit my shop and please enjoy Accessory Fair 2010!

I wanted to have a name that would allow me the freedom I craved from my brand, to make anything I wanted. But I knew I was most likely going to create costume and fantasy pieces. I looked over at my bookshelf and saw “Illusions”, by Richard Bach and realized it was the perfect name. The spirit of my brand is modern fantasy, historical costume with a twist. I haven’t joined Relay For Life event in the past, but I am always happy to support a great cause. I hope that Accessory Fair 2010 shoppers are willing to experiment, and add new items to an outfit that they might never have paired together. You can wear an evening gown with demon horns, why not?

The name Split Pea is a fun little name which reflects the playfulness of my designs. Designing in this world allows me to do things that would never be in the natural world. My designs are fun, cute, and eccentric. I have not been a big part in Relay for life in Second Life so I am happy to be a part of something for the Accessory Fair and support cancer research. If you come to my store for the first time, you may see me saying ‘Welcome to Split Pea’.

PRODUCE Something delicate and transparent, such as crystals and diamonds, fascinates me and greatly inspires my imagination. I named my shop in SL “Crystalline” in hopes of using it as a place where I can realize my imagination. I think a desire for beauty is shared by most women all over the world. I myself work not only as a creator but also as a model in SL, making efforts to be beautiful every day. I would like to offer high-quality but low-priced fashion items with which those women can enhance their charms to the fullest and get their desire. This is the spirit of my brand. I make accessories with special attention to how to represent crystals, diamonds, beads and so forth. I would really appreciate it if you could take a look at mysteriously sparkling diamond accesso-
ries I painstakingly made. At my main store, you can purchase a variety of photo studios that are low prim, easy to use and, of course, reasonably priced. They are already very much popular among Japanese people, now obtaining more and more international users. I would recommend using one of the studios together with my accessories. I’m sure by doing so you can easily take truly gorgeous and professional-level pictures of you and your friends. Besides running a shop, I do modeling. I’m a top model of AGATA Model Agency and a hairstyle model of Tukinowaguma. I work as a photographer as well. For further information, please look at the following websites.

“TRIDENT is the name of a pre-existent brand that I joined in August 2009. Trident jewels and clothing are inspired by passion for medieval, ancient, ethnic and tribal jewelry as well as costumes. Each design combines creativity with careful research of museum replicas, archaeological findings and study of their historical symbolism. My jewels are the expression of my passion and creativity, I hope you will like and enjoy them!

I named my shop “Adore&Abhor” after the kinds of designs I have in my shop. Originally it was sweet Lolita dresses and goth-type outfits. The spirit of my brand ? Totally free. I make what I want when I want and I just have fun designing and creating. The last time I tried to join the whole Relay For Life event, it didn’t pan out, so I don’t really have a story related to the cause but I’m excited to be participating this year. Everybody is welcome to visit my shop, enjoy it and I hope everybody has as much fun wearing my creations as I had fun making them!

What inspired the name of my shop ? Well, my name, obviously! Cailyn is a variation on a character in a book by one of my favourite authors, Melanie Rawn. I love pretty, sparkly things (my friends say I must have been a magpie in a previous life!) and so I make the things that I love, and I hope that others love them too. To those I’m going to meet during the Accessory Fair, I will probably ask “Where have you been? I’ve been here for 6 years!”

The name of our shop is inspired from our personality, we are glamorous inside and we really want to share our philosophy in the metaverse. We make a huge selection of glam items: skins, clothes, accessories and hairs. We try to share our fashion ideas and create something new in each piece. As many of us, we try to educate people about cancer, so we gladly create exclusive products for Relay For Life. We would like to say thank you to all those who are appreciating our products. We create for people, so we gladly accept feedback. -Glam Affairwas formerly Beauty Avatar, and we would like to thank everyone for their support during rebranding. Thanks!

The idea of creating my brand came on that month, “December”. That’s why I named my shop this way. On that special month, I made up my mind that I would do something else than camping! I try to produce items that make me think to myself “I want it!” I create items that I like. I’m supporting Relay For Life this year because I feel close to the cause. Indeed, some members in my family experienced cancer… My last words would be for those who are discovering me at the fair: I hope you enjoy my shop at the Accessory Fair 2010!
