Leading trade fabricator Modplan has added the new Leka Carport and Canopy system to its range. Like the Leka Warm Roof, Leka Orangery Roof and Leka Xi, the Leka Carport and Canopy system is a unique proposition that sets a new standard for the industry. For ease, it can be installed on existing loadbearing or concrete pads. The system also features Leka’s lightweight, structurally sound GRP framework which means no thermal bridging or moisture absorption.

Each section is modular by design and highly engineered. This gives peace of mind that every piece has been factory-tested before delivery, ensuring a smooth and straightforward installation.

Like all Leka products, the Leka Carport and Canopy is quick and easy to install. Typically taking one-two days. Firstly, the GRP structurally sound posts are installed into the correct locations, using feet if necessary to secure them into place. Next the main GRP ring beam and roof structure are fitted into position to create a robust framework. The highly engineered, lightweight and load bearing sheets are installed followed by the application of the high-quality shingle or lightweight slate tile finish. Finally, a cladding colour of choice is applied to the underside of the roof and supporting posts for a seamless aesthetic. Optional lighting is also available.

Leka Xi Demonstrates Its Appeal To Homeowners

Leka Systems has reported continued growth for its Leka Xi modular conservatory walls and base system with little sign of market demand slowing in 2023.
