HOW TO GET ACCESS TO POWERFUL DATA AND BOOST YOUR SALES COMP DOOR CUSTOMERS GET THEIR OWN BRANDED VERSION OF TOUCH

So much so, marketing has become an increasingly competitive trade in the same period. Companies are always looking for that special edge over their competitors.

Business to business trade is the perfect example of where you need to be savvy –think ahead and be on the front foot. They need to cut through the noise, generate real leads, and effectively sell a product to a more difficult audience.

Many companies struggle with this or limit themselves due to the ways in which they market their products.

However, there is one key step all businesses within the fenestration and glazing industry can take to boost the success of their marketing instantly and ultimately generate new leads.

The Importance Of Data

By gaining access to details of all your potential prospects, you can immediately see an upturn in the results of your marketing campaigns.

This is because product or service you provide are being viewed by those most likely to interact with them – saving time, money and labour.

Not only are you now aware of all your potential customers, but you know how to contact them.

That is why Insight Data has become so important within the fenestration industry, providing hundreds of users with thousands of details on such companies.

Aaron Solomon, Insight Data’s Sales Executive, highlighted how important data is when making business decisions by saying: “We’ve seen first-hand how prospect data can turn a company’s fortunes, increasing marketing efficiency and boosting one’s brand reputation.

“That is why, for as little as £150p/m, you can gain access to the emails, phone numbers and addresses of your desired prospects – putting your brand in front of those whom you want to see it.”

A MARKET-LEADING PLATFORM

The best way to access all of Insight’s prospect data is via Salestracker – the world’s first fully-integrated sales and marketing platform, designed exclusively for the building and fenestration industry.

Salestracker is home to five unique databases, ranging from fenestration to architects, builders merchants, local builders and main contractors with a turnover of £5m.

Aaron Solomon added: “Salestracker is the home of all our detailed data. A platform found nowhere else in the industry. It harnesses our real-time prospect data with a powerful CRM (customer relationship management) system.

“Thanks to the ever-growing real-time data provided, Salestracker has gained over 700 users, with clients including some of the UK’s industry-leading building product suppliers.

“Establishing connections between companies could not be easier. Salestracker makes it easier to reach more potential quality leads with less effort, working smarter, not harder!

“Your sales team can make the most of their time knowing they have reliable data to make decisions on, allowing your business to find more prospects in less time and generate more sales.”

Across all five databases, Salestracker is home to over 50,000 records, with over 13,000 of those found solely in the fenestration database.

WORK SMART, NOT HARD

One of the biggest perks associated with Salestracker is how regularly we update our databases, ensuring we are not only providing the best service to our customers, but comply with data protection and GDPR laws.

Our team of dedicated researchers make 20,000 calls and interviews every month – generating around 1,200 changes to our data.

This is because accurate data makes the job of your sales and marketing teams much easier. Instead of wasting time on finding and fixing data errors, your staff focus on more important tasks.

Never has it been easier to get in touch with the people who will allow your business to grow.

When it launched its Business Micros TOUCH Portal online quoting and ordering system towards the end of 2022, Comp Door promised there would be more to come, and it has delivered on that promise with the launch of a new Branded Mode for TOUCH which customers can make their own.

Trade companies buying composite doors from Comp Door now have the option of adding a branded version of the TOUCH lead generation tool to their own company website which allows homeowners to design their door and enquire direct - generating retail leads for them around the clock.

In Branded Mode, the TOUCH design tool offers a simplified interface and fewer options than the full version in Portal on the Comp Door website, but crucially it still uses the same up to date product data and images and the same distinctive TOUCH Home Visualiser to engage with retail buyers. It works on any mobile device so homeowners can design their door at home and can also be used as a powerful sales tool by installers in their showroom or in presentations.

Installers who opt for TOUCH Branded Mode effectively get a boosted retail presence, without the need to invest in extra salespeople, and the ability to generate warm, accurate enquiries straight into their TOUCH Portal account for any of the products in their fabricator’s range. They can then send out personalised, professionally branded quotes in response and, once those quotes are converted into sales, place the orders using the same integrated end to end software. They can also track, store and edit their quotes all in one place and get the benefits of a miniCRM system for a fraction of the cost.

TOUCH Branded Mode can be added into any website and is so quick and easy to set up ad personalise that trade customers can be up and running within an hour.

David Massey, Comp Door’s Head of IT, explained: “Branded Mode is linked directly to the TOUCH platform here, so customers can use it to take a lead all the way from enquiry to installation direct with us using their agreed pricing structure and consistent product data. The software doesn’t allow homeowners to generate an enquiry for a door that we can’t make either, so every lead is especially valuable and worthwhile.”

At its base in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Comp Door has implemented the TOUCH software platform throughout its operation. It links directly with the company’s other Business Micros software for manufacturing and business management and is helping Comp Door achieve market leading levels of efficiency.

The roll out of TOUCH to the 40+ big name fabricators who have already signed up to the platform is now ongoing, and the system will be live at many more businesses over the next few months. Richie Thornton, Head of Operations for TOUCH, said: “The response to TOUCH from the early adopters like Comp Door has been phenomenal. Their customers are loving it too, so we’re very confident that our longpromised TOUCH revolution is finally on the way.”
