Maleny Show Goes Digital

Maleny Show goes digital

By Lea Parkes

The Maleny Show will be held on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1 and the theme will be ‘Celebrating farming, past, present and future’.

This year will see the Maleny Show Society embracing technology and expanding its registration process to include an online option in some of the pavilion categories.

These categories include cookery and cake decorating, embroidery and tapestry, needlework, photography, quilting and woodwork.

Before you use this registration option you will be required to complete a one-off free registration via the Showday Online website at https://showday.online.

Once you have done this, you can register for your chosen section/s, as well as complete all pre-show forms and self-print entry tags.

Entry fee payments will still be collected when your entries are dropped off before the show.

If you are thinking of becoming a member of the Maleny Show Society you can also do this online.

Maleny Show Society president Ivan Hankinson said the society was encouraging regular and new entrants to give the online registration process a go. However, if you prefer the traditional method of manual/in person registration, this will be available for all sections.

To check out the areas of the show you can enter this year, take a look at the competitor’s schedule on the Show Society’s website www.malenyshowsociety.org.au.
