Somerset Dam, back over to Villeneuve and Glenfern on Neurum Road near the quarry. “The power upgrade is NOT running directly along Neurum Road to Kilcoy like people assume,” they said.

“Energex did NOT engage with the community like they were obligated to and have changed the route of the infrastructure without anyone’s knowledge.” Mrs Frecklington said the issue raised questions.

“Villeneuve residents have explained that they were either unaware of the project, or have just discovered the power lines will now be deviated from the original plans,” Mrs Frecklington said.
