Praise Team: Holy, Holy, Holy Ephesians 3:6-21 This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God's grace given me through the working of his power. Although I am less than the least of all the Lord's people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ, and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory. Gospel Lesson: Luke 24:44-52 He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms." Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. He told them, "This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high." When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven. Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.
Profession Of Faith I believe that I cannot by my own reason or strength, believe in Jesus Christ, my Lord, or come to Him. But the Holy Ghost has called me by the Gospel, enlightened me with His gifts, sanctified and kept me in the true faith; even as He calls, gathers, enlightens and sanctifies the whole Christian Church of earth, and keeps it with Jesus Christ in the one true faith; in which Christian Church He daily and richly forgives all sins to me and all believers, and will at the last day raise up me and all the dead, and give unto me and all believers in Christ eternal life. This is most certainly true.

Litany There was a vision among the Lutherans in Grayson county to faithfully speak Your word and build a congregation as a base for training in the Word. You called pastors and members to minister in this congregation for you. You have blessed this ministry through good times and bad, for the Light of Your Word has been our guide through our history. Enable us to go forward in the doctrines passed down to us from the Apostles and Prophets, ever walking in your light. May the members of Grace always be faithful in our ministry together, serving you and bringing glory to your name. Enable us to be ministers to one another in this place. As we embark on the next 75 years of service to your, keep ever before our eyes the cross of Christ and the knowledge that we have been reconciled to Your through His death and resurrection. In the power of Your spirit, enable us to proclaim the good news of salvation to a world that desperately needs that news, that we may bring others to eternal life in Christ. As we continue to grow in Grace through the ministry of Word and Sacraments, keep us truly thankful for the forgiveness and life you give us through our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen -6-
