Prepaid cards In recent years the prepaid card transactions have recorded a rapid growth worldwide. Despite this trend of accelerated growth, until now Romania has not exploited the potential of this class of products.

Prepaid card has the advantage of not being attached to a bank account. Thus, these cards are an opportunity for financial institutions to attract new customers or strengthen relationships with existing ones. International practice has shown that this type of card is attractive to all segments of customers, from young people with no banking experience, to private banking clients.
