Accreditations Global Guardians belongs to the British Security Industry Association (BSIA), and also complies with British Standard 8584:2015 (Vacant Property Protection Services – Code of Practice) which is endorsed by the BSIA, Environmental Health, Fire Brigade, the Police and many other relevant and reputable organisations. What is a Global Guardian? A Global guardian is a working professional who protects a vacant property by occupying a shared living space under a non-exclusive licence agreement. Global Guardians vet all our guardians to ensure only the most suitable candidates occupy our vacant properties. Our vetting process ensures all applicants’ documentation is in order. We only accept working professionals, 21 and over, to secure our properties. There are no children or pets allowed in the building. In order to become a Global Guardian we ensure that everyone understands the terms and conditions of the legal contract that they sign with us. Unlike a Tenancy Agreement, our Guardian licence is a non-exclusive licence agreement. This means that when our contract with a property owner is terminated, our licence agreement with our guardians is automatically terminated as well.
