All the customer has to do is use their phone to capture the QR code, we have called the service “Snap the Tag�.

That action connects them direct to the Globe Exotics website pages where they can read about the produce, a taste description and how best to prepare.


Guests can download serving and cooking directions. There are even recipes for the meals many would normally order as a take away on a weekend or evening. The service has proven popular with customers, it has increased turn over on the produce isle of this super market by 18%, with a mirrored increase in profit per linear foot for those isles and 8% at the meat counter.

So everyone's happy, customers get a more interactive service and this supermarket has reduced the floor staffs down time in answering customer queries, a win win for all!
