Asimismo, la gamificación tiene como objetivo motivar a los estudiantes, aumentar su compromiso y su espíritu de superación a través de diversas técnicas como: la acumulación de puntos por los logros obtenidos, evolución de niveles, motivación de los alumnos para escalar posiciones en un ranking, así como establecer un nivel jerárquico entre ellos. La recompensa es otro factor presente ya que a través de ésta se logra la realización de tareas específicas.
