Porsche cars always had excellent build quality, and with their anti-rust paint job, the car shines for a very long time. According to reports, more than 10,000,000 911s produced almost 7,000,000 are still on the road, which means that the cars produced from the year 1964 almost 70% of the cars are still on the road, which proves how reliable Porsche is in making their cars, and also makes the 911 a legendary car. The resale value of the car is also relatively high and still people buy them because they are worth every penny.
Porsche has still gone with the rear engine layout housing the boxer motor. This time, however, they have ditched the Overboost function of the previous generation engine and have also managed to refined the already perfect eight-speed dual-clutch PDK gearbox, which combined with the 3.8-liter twin-turbo boxer six which is bolted over the rear axle produces 572-hp and an identical 553 lb-ft of torque in the standard 911 Turbo.
Porsche has managed to perfect the art of turbocharging and getting rid of the over boost feature has reduced the turbo lag to nil. The car feels powerful all the time, power is at the touch of your foot whenever you want it, so overtaking at the highways now feels quite effortless for the refined engine. The motor feels responsive throughout the rev range and is accompanied by pops and bangs which can be heard when you lift off the throttle.
The 911 Turbo S has the most power among the rivals, and even the standard model is still not shy enough than the other. The peak torque is available at very low RPM in the Porsche and it also has the most amount of torque at its disposal. Audi R8 is 10HP down on the Porsche Turbo but it features an astonishing nat-asp V10 engine that sounds unlike any other engine on the market. The power is not immediate, unlike any turbocharged engine, the V10 motor has to be revved to get a move on.
2021 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe Acceleration and Braking Performance: Even though the boxer-6 is smaller than what is offered in the other cars, it churns out the most amount of torque and also is equally powerful when compared to other bigger engines. The 3.8L flat-six engine manages to propel the car from a standstill to 60 MPH in just 2.8 seconds, which is 0.1 of a second faster than the standard Huracan. The S model had a top speed of 205 MPH whereas the standard model has a top speed of 198 MPH which is not at all slow.
