What is the social life like at BPP University?

Manchester Manchester is one of the largest legal and commercial centres in the country. A staggering 65 of the FTSE 100 companies call the city their home, including such household names as Google, The Co-operative Group, Aegis and the BBC. No surprise then that it’s a thriving centre for finance, banking and law, as well as the creative and media industries. In the centre of all this is BPP University located in the historic St. James’ building on Oxford Street. Here you’ll find yourself not only in the city centre, but also in the midst of one of the largest student populations in Europe. We’re located within five minutes’ walk of Manchester’s Market Street and the Arndale shopping centre and just two minutes’ walk of Oxford Road station and a tram stop at St. Peter’s Square, while a seemingly endless line of buses come and go along one of Manchester’s most famous roads. Birmingham Revamped, rejuvenated and ready to impress, Birmingham has transformed itself from a once industrial town into one of the UK’s most cosmopolitan cities. Today famed as the largest city outside of London, its centre has been completely transformed and boasts one of the biggest and best shopping centres in the country as well as a lively nightlife. Of course, every bit as impressive is Birmingham’s business and legal credentials. Today, it is ranked as a beta-world city by the Globalisation and World Cities Research Network in recognition of its importance in the economic global system. Which makes perfect sense when you see the international businesses that Birmingham has attracted, including some of the biggest names in banking, finance law and insurance. It’s in Birmingham’s commercial centre of the Colmore business and legal district that you’ll find BPP University. Abingdon Set in traditional English countryside, just eight miles south of Oxford, Abingdon is one of Britain’s oldest towns, with ancient streets and riverside walks just waiting to be discovered. It’s an ideal location for those who enjoy their sport, with cycle paths, a sports and leisure centre and host of local activities to try. There’s even the opportunity to join the local rowing club who train along a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. It’s in this picturesque setting that you’ll find BPP University’s study centre in Abingdon, well served by local buses and those who drive will find that the M4 and M40 nearby make it quick and easy to get to a number of major cities, including London, which is also only a 45 minute train journey away. Here students enjoy being part of the compact study centre that focuses on our chiropractic and healthcare programmes. All teaching and clinical training is carried out in small groups with a high staff to student ratio. In-Sessional English Language

Pathway to Higher Education Certificate in Health

The In-Sessional English Language programme is for both international and EEA BPP students who wish to, or are required to, improve their English while studying towards their undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme. It is completed in the first term alongside your degree studies - usually via three-hour sessions. You may be required to attend this course as a condition of starting your degree or other programme. If this is the case, the classes will be a compulsory part of your study programme. This programme is a non-credit bearing award of BPP University.

This programme is designed for people wishing to undertake a degree in manual therapies, such as Chiropractic, but who have left school without the usual qualifications, such as A levels. This programme will give you the confidence, skills and knowledge to prepare for the Integrated Undergraduate Masters in Chiropractic (MChiro). The certificate is awarded by BPP University.
