Banje Beach Banje Beach is the closest beach to Old Town and boasts the best view of Dubrovnik’s walls and Lokrum Island. Fort Lovrijenac Situated on a towering rock overlooking the Adriatic Sea, Fort Lovrijenac was originally built to repel attackers from both land and sea and dates back to at least 1301. Today the popular attraction hosts a variety of cultural events. Game of Thrones fans will recognize the fort as the filming location of the Red Keep.
