Awards & Achievements Dordt College awards scholarships SIOUX CENTER — The following students were among scholarship recipients at Dordt College. GARNER: Lauren Opp was awarded the Heritage HHP Scholarship and the Syne and Judy Altena Track and Field Scholarship. Opp is a senior majoring in health and human performance with an emphasis in exercise science. She also has a minor in psychology. MASON CITY: Kathryn Wilson, was awarded the Joe J. Dahm Memorial Music Scholarship. Wilson is a sophomore majoring in K-12 education and choral/ instrumental music education; Riley Scharper was awarded the Defender Gold Club Scholarship. Scharper is a junior majoring in nursing.

Undergraduate students in the online program are recognized if they completed 12 or more credits, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or above, began and completed at least one course since the time the previous Dean’s List was determined (Dec. 16, 2013) and are currently enrolled, attending or on an approved leave of absence, and in good academic standing as of May 5, 2014.
