以動物為鑿刀，食物為泥土， 讓動物化身工藝家「雕刻」出獨一無二的藝術品。
With teeth as chisels, food as carving materials, animals are born artists who create original works of art.
動物都有獨特的進食構造與方式，經演化成現今的姿態。各種 動物牙齒鑿啃食留下的痕跡，猶如多樣的「雕刻風格」，而不 同的進食方式，恰如各式「鑿刀」，為了生存所演化出的獨特 EZ能力，即是不同特性的「加工器具」。
Each species of animals has its own physical makeup and the way of living. The particular bite marks each animal leaves are its carving styles; Animals' eating behaviors resemble a variety of chisels; Each animal possesses specific living skills, which are processing tools with different functions.
我們順應動物最自然的進食方式，給予適當材料， 動物便創作出兩個系列的工藝品－貓雕與鳥雕系列， 並特選琉璃及金屬，展現多元豐富的造型。
Therefore, Given proper materials, animals are native sculptors and creative these pieceworks -cat and bird series- are crafted from lazuli and metal to present the variousness of shape and texture.
期望觀者能想像並體會動物為了適應環境， 經年累月演化出特有的型態及其產生的魅力與驚奇。
We invite viewers to feel animals' distinctive behaviors that have developed for survival through generations and to see how animals and the nature interact with each other.
設計 手法 Design Method
依照動物吃東西的方式及牙齒的不同，決定了兩種動物來參與設計，分 別是貓與鳥。運用貓啃咬食物時，會從邊角開始吃的特性，直接將食物 做成碗的外型，讓貓去啃咬。運用鳥垂直啄取食物的特性，使鳥不斷地 由上而下啄，自然地挖鑿出容器的凹槽。
