At the beginning of each year, it seeⅡ ls that it is a custom that the editor should say something to adore the year coⅡ 1ing in。 However, the fre~ i甾 e犭 hspm魄 蚯ˇ and mak hm l△ av ng every year。 e只 指 V嘎 1⒊ e扭:sⅡ 莒 J虍 、智 ⒊ I have many hopes for the year 1961,but it is rather difficult for me to manifest au 。f them. The fOⅡ owing are some of my personal hopes∶ First, I wish 1961 Ⅵ吐Ⅱ bring us au prosperity and good health。 Prosperity ensures euˉ being and is necessary ⅥΓ vell-being and is necessary to us all in our our 、 to us all in our course of achieving our airns。 Good health is equa1ly impOrtan△ vould upset our plans and prevent us from progressing at a har~ for sickness 、 nlon1Ous pace, vⅡ l be hΙ y secOnd 、 vish is that the scouting Movement in Hong KOng 、 vorld’ s standard。 That the preparatory work for the Golden JubⅡ ee up to the 、 Ⅱbe carried out 硒吐th success, and that au Jamborette as is being planned Ⅵ吐 vish 0f us lvill do our best by showing eagerness and enthusiasm。 My third 、 is that this changing worId wⅡ l bring lasting peace between na住 ons and peoples.
