Well done to both our winners of the Summer art competition about ‘My favourite thing to do on summer holiday’, who win a £5 book token. Tulsi, aged 5, from Sunlands Kindergarten in Stroud painted a picture of her paddling in a stream. She looks like she’s having such fun! And Nelly, 8, from Charlton Kings Junior School, Cheltenham, has painted an amazing picture of her camping under the stars in a modern art style, with strong shapes and splashes of paint.

TOO HARD? Why not ask a grown-up for ideas? Children under 7 will find the yellow clues easier.

The joke’s on us Q: Why are lift jokes so good? A: Because they work on so many levels

COMP WINNERS Birdland & Agent Stilton Congratulations to:

Ellie Duffy of St Catherine’s Primary, who wins a family ticket to Birdland for being the first correct answer chosen, identifying the colour most associated with flamingoes: c) pink. And to James Gasher, 9, of Charlton Kings Junior, who solved Agent Stilton’s code: “We know you love puzzles so we will send you an Amazon voucher if you crack this and are picked out first.”
