About this Brand Guide

Purpose of the Brand Guide

The Impact Church Brand Guidelines book was created in 2014 by the Impact Communications Department in partnership with GLUE Inc.

The purpose of the Impact Church Brand Guide is to encourage Impact Church, its subsidiary ministries and affiliated organizations to develop and present a consistent image to support Impact’s mission and purpose. It strives to offer guidelines on how best to achieve and maintain a consistent image that is recognizable by the Impact Church community, the Atlanta area, and other UMC organizations. However, it also allows for flexibility, so as to not stifle creative design, to effectively portray the wide range of Impact Church’s ministries and programs.

To ensure consistent implementation of the plan outlined in this document, the guide will be distributed to all employees, Impact Church affiliates and design vendors selected to create print and electronic media to be distributed on behalf of Impact Church. All staff will be asked to sign that they have read and understand the Impact Church Brand Guidelines. Proper use is required by the Impact Church Communications Department. Any variations from the brand guidelines must be preapproved for a specific purpose or project.


Why Use a Brand Guide?

Brand guides make designing and writing easier. You donÂŁt have to make decisions about how to do things; you simply follow the rules. Use this guide as your primary source. If you donÂŁt find the guidance you need here,consult the Communications Department. We are happy to help.
