usong Pinoy Sa Amerika has returned with a new season on GMA Pinoy TV! Hosted by immigration lawyer Atty. Lou Tancinco and Filipino actor Eric Quizon, the awardwinning show enlightens viewers on the USA’s relevant policies and laws under President Joe Biden’s new administration.
Aside from new immigration policies, Pusong Pinoy sa Amerika tackles the legislation that bolsters the federal government’s response to hate crimes, especially against Asian-Americans. With the recent rise of anti-Asian slurs and violence during the pandemic, the show equips Filipinos abroad with proper knowledge on exercising their rights and defending themselves. “This is an unprecedented period for the Filipino-American Community. We have seen how the COVID pandemic and the recent spate of attacks on Asian

It also received the New America Media’s Award for Outstanding Reporting on Civil Liberties Issues in Ethnic Communities and the 2014 Telly Award for Documentary while in 2018, it was nominated for NAMIC Vision Award in the foreign-language category for its segment “Iba Ang Pinoy.”
