GMA maintains 47 VHF stations, 41 UHF TV stations, and 6 digital terrestrial television broadcast stations.

GMA Network, Inc. started as radio station DZBB owned by Robert “Uncle Bob” Stewart on March 1, 1950. Originally incorporated as Loreto F. de Hemedes, Inc. on June 14, 1950, the company amended its company name to Republic Broadcasting System, Inc. on May 28, 1974 and changed its name to GMA Network, Inc. on February 20, 1996. Felipe L. Gozon, Gilberto M. Duavit and Menardo R. Jimenez took over the management of RBS in 1974. GMA Network, Inc. was officially listed in the Philippine Stock Exchange on July 30, 2007.

radio GMA-7 produces and broadcasts radio programs across the Philippines on its wholly-owned operating network of 24 radio stations. Its flagship radio stations are Super Radyo DZBB 594kHz on the AM band and Barangay LS 97.1 on the FM band.
