Anthony is the President and CEO of Toronto Hydro, one of the largest urban electricity distribution companies in Canada. He is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in the Canadian energy industry, including 15 years in various senior roles in the natural gas industry. Anthony is currently the Chair of the Canadian Electricity Association and has been a member of its Board since 2006.

SUSAN FRANK Hydro One Susan has been with Hydro One and formerly Ontario Hydro for 20 years and has held the position of Vice President and and received approval for several distribution and transmission rate applications. Principal Jay Shepherd Professional Corp. Jay is a highly respected and experienced energy lawyer. Since 2003 he has been lead counsel for the School Energy Ontario schools in the energy regulatory environment. Since 1995 he has also been the primary regulatory counsel in Ontario for the Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Coalition, an association of Canadian heating and air conditioning contractors. President Canadian Natural Gas Vehicle Association Alicia leads Canada’s national trade association for natural gas vehicles, the Canadian Natural Gas Vehicle Alliance. Peter was appointed Managing Director of Regulatory Policy in November 2011. Prior to this he held the position of Senior Manager, Infrastructure & Renewables, with responsibilities relating to connection of renewable generation to electricity networks, oversight of wholesale electricity markets, regulatory aspects of electric reliability and the review of network investment plans. Prior to joining the OEB, Peter worked for six years at the International Energy Agency (IEA) in Paris, France, as senior electricity policy advisor and spent nearly nine years as energy policy advisor at the Ontario Ministry of Energy. Peter holds master’s degrees in physics from Queen’s University and in environmental studies from York University and a BSc in physics from the University of Toronto.
Christina’s research interest is in the relationships and decisions that policy makers, citizens and consumers make in the current energy system transition. She is currently teaching a graduate level course on community energy planning in the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University. Christina developed practical course content through consultation with the stakeholders engaged in community energy planning in Ontario - City of Toronto, Guelph, Burlington, London, QUEST, and the Ministry of Energy.

He currently serves as the Director of Economic Development for Six Nations Elected Council. Recently, Matt was the principle architect of Six Nations equity investment in Samsung’s Grand Renewable Energy Park - a development of 250 megawatts of nameplate capacity with a total investment cost of $1 billion. He was also the primary negotiator of direct and indirect community additional 225 megawatts of renewable energy projects. In his role as Director of Economic Development, Matt is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of business enterprises ranging from gaming and tourism to housing and commercial development. The Six Nations Economic Development department is the largest of its kind in Ontario with over 120 employees and a $25 million annual operating budget.

City of Barrie & Chair, Large Urban Mayor’s Caucus of Ontario (LUMCO) Mayor Lehman is the 46th Mayor of the City of Barrie. As the head of Council and CEO of the City, he is leading Barrie through a period of rapid change. His top priorities include jobs and economic development, public engagement, and overhaul of the City’s transit system. In February of 2014, Mayor Lehman was elected by his peers to Chair the Large Urban Mayor’s Caucus of Ontario, which consists of the Mayors of Ontario’s 26 largest cities. In this role, Brian leads a team of analysts who study the impacts of changes to the IESO Market Rules or Market Design. Brian has also held the position of Manager, Economics and Senior Economic Advisor to the Ontario Market Surveillance Panel.
