NOTES
From the Editor We’ll Be Watching Him
If you’re like me, you’re probably always looking for the newest show to stream on any one of the dozens of platforms now available. Well, in case you haven’t already discovered it, I’ve got one show in particular to recommend, one that will appeal to not only fans of comedy, but mystery, podcasts ... and Sting! Only Murders in the Building, which begins its second season on Hulu this month, is a hoot, full of colorful, quirky characters, most of whom were murder suspects in season one. Including, yes, Sting. Who played himself. Without an ounce of irony. And it was hilarious, as well as a reminder of what a showman the man himself is, one who has spent his entire career keeping his fans guessing as to what he’ll do next. For the moment, that’s performing in Las Vegas, a continuation of his My Songs residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Writer Matt Kelemen takes a look at the man’s career, one that’s full of change, evolution and growth (“A Creative Force,” p. 30). If you’re at all a fan of Sting’s catalog, whether it be solo or with The Police, this is a show you’ll definitely want to be a part of. Another performer with decades of experience under her belt, Shania Twain also returns to her Vegas residency at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood
Resort, Let’s Go! this week (“A Rocking Good Time,” p. 34). Managing editor Nina King, who attended a recent performance, takes you through both the exhaustive (and sometimes changing) setlist and the entertaining production, which showcases Twain’s talents to their fullest. Fans of America’s Got Talent have the opportunity to see two season winners on the Strip this weekend: Shin Lim, who continues his successful production show at The Mirage, along with fellow AGT competitor Colin Cloud mixing in some mentalism (“Displays of Dexterity,” p. 32), and Dustin Tavella, who currently performs as part of ensemble show America’s Got Talent Las Vegas Live at Luxor (“Sense of Wonder,” p. 38). While you’re enjoying this wealth of entertainment, don’t forget to stop to enjoy some great dining, from barbecue options (“Where There’s Smoke,” p. 26) to Frenchthemed Vanderpump á Paris (“Ooh La La,” p. 24) and the restaurants that participate in Restaurant Week, meaning part of your check goes directly to charity (“Real Good Eats,” p. 12). There’s so much more packed into this week’s issue of Las Vegas Magazine, but we won’t spoil it—and we won’t spoil Only Murders in the Building either, except to say that Sting is guilty ... of lots of talent.

Need Speed? With all the twists and turns that we experience day-to-day, is there not a more perfect metaphor for life than a roller coaster? Ironically, if you’re looking for a way to take your mind off this year, a roller coaster might be your best bet, and there’s no better place

for such thrills than the Big Apple Coaster. But first, you’ll have to prepare your mind, and your stomach, for what’s about to go down. The coaster starts with two huge drops, which lead into twists and loops alongside the faux Manhattan skyline.
One such loop is the heartline twist and dive maneuver, a move that quickly flips the cart upside down and settles into a tummy-tingling drop, so be sure to ride on an empty stomach. –Las Vegas Magazine Staff New York-New York, 702.740.6969

Where amazement and laughter collide Before The Mac King Comedy Magic Show even begins, something wonderful happens: An announcer invites you to participate in the kids’ singalong “If You’re Happy and You Know It.” Sure, there’s bound to be plenty of eye-rolling at this request, but once that jaunty music starts playing, you just cannot help but join in. The best part? It instantly puts you in a better mood. The cares of the world fade away, and suddenly you’re a kid again, smiling and excited for what’s to come. That feeling continues unabated throughout King’s set. The Kentucky-born-and-raised magician instantly connects with his audiences through down-home humor and a self-effacing

nature—no one is quicker to acknowledge that a joke didn’t work than King, which in itself is pretty hilarious. King is so endearing, in fact, that you momentarily forget you’re at his show to see some magic—you’d rather just have a conversation with the guy. But when the magic does come, it’s very organic to King’s persona—there’s no pomp, no circumstance, no razzle, no dazzle. In fact, the illusions are oftentimes so subtle that you may not immediately realize you’ve just seen the most amazing thing ever. But when it hits you, don’t be surprised to find your jaw on the floor. There’s plenty of audience participation in King’s show as well:
• Using a “cloak of invisibility” (no Harry Potter jokes, if you please), King helps a couple move some playing cards around the stage—and each other; • Using four envelopes and a bit of fire, King finds a novel way to use a volunteer’s $100 bill; • A young volunteer is asked to help King set up his camping tent. At one show I attended, my great-niece was brought onstage. Her reaction to the “great reveal”—utter shock, followed by the biggest smile ever—remains one of my fondest memories as a Las Vegan. By the time King’s show is over, it’s hard to say what you’ll miss more on the walk back to your room—the illusions or the laughs. –Ken Miller

Home Advantage Whether you’re a faithful fan of Raider Nation, a fan of football or just a fan of impressive architecture and design, the Allegiant Stadium Tour is both money and time very well spent. The hourlong walking tour has many stops along the way (some with special access that not every visitor to the stadium is privy to), stops like the Level 200 suites, containing personal VIP areas for Vegas bigwigs, including Raiders owner Mark Davis. (Fun fact: Davis’ suite is where you’ll find the only white stadium seating out of all of Allegiant Stadium’s 65,000 seats!) One fun stop is the Raiderettes locker room—you’ll see where they get ready for a game. You also enter the team’s locker room and check out the massage and medical areas, and the hydrotherapy pools. Other stops include the broadcast booth, the Champions Club (where celebs and A-listers hang during a game), the tunnel where the Raiders run onto the field, and the pièce de résistance: A stop to snap some pics at the 50-yard line. –Kiko Miyasato Allegiantstadium.com/tours
No Holds Barred When you go see Eddie Griffin perform at his reopened stand-up comedy residency at Sahara Las Vegas, you better be ready. The veteran funnyman has never shied away from controversial or taboo topics over the course of his 30-year career onstage, and he’s not about to change his ways after a global pandemic and a polarizing presidential election. Griffin’s latest comedy special, Laughin’ Through Your Mask, captured his performance the day after the Capitol attack in January 2021. –Brock Radke Sahara Las Vegas, 21+. 702.761.7000

Treat Yourself You’ve seen dignitaries, royalty and the über-rich dine on it. We’re talking caviar, folks. But if you’ve ever been curious to try the eggs collected from the best type of fish (sturgeon), there’s a new hot spot that allows more than just the privileged few to indulge. Caviar Bar honors the culinary traditions of serving the delicacy, but makes the experience (and cost) more accessible to us commoners.
With a beautiful interior design and plenty of perfect spots to lounge around, enjoy a curated menu of several caviar options, served with homemade blinis, crème fraîche and chives. There’s also a large menu of decadent seafood and meat entrées. And don’t miss the specialty cocktail list and curated wine list. You’ll quickly feel like royalty yourself. –Kiko Miyasato Resorts World, 702.676.7936

Indulge in food and drink while giving a boost to those in need It’s my favorite time of the year! From June 6-17, Restaurant Week returns to Las Vegas for the 15th year, offering prix fixe menus that showcase the offerings of the amazing eateries all across the Las Vegas Valley and on the Strip. And although I can squeeze a dime ’til it squeaks, and am often loath to throw down cash on an unknown quantity, ponying up those dollars during Restaurant Week is easy, because the event benefits Three Square, a food bank that helps those in need. Head to the Las Vegas Restaurant Week website, and under the tab labeled Restaurants, filter and sort by cuisine, location, meal type and donation amount. It’s an easy way to plan out your

meals and maybe try a place that you might not have considered before. Some of the highlights from this year’s event include prix fixe menus from Bazaar Meat by José Andrés at Sahara Las Vegas, Amalfi at Caesars Palace, Carversteak at Resorts World and Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris. On Bazaar Meat’s menu, look for American wagyu from Texas and setas al ajillo, luscious mushroom caps with garlic and nasturtiums; Amalfi offers squid ink fettucine and a wonderfully fragrant bufala mozzarella on charred lemon leaves; Carversteak presents shrimp cocktail and Faroe Island salmon or filet mignon; and Eiffel Tower Restaurant serves up farm-raised chicken with foie gras and crème brûlée.
Not only can you choose from set menus from participating restaurants, you can also take advantage of special promotions from breweries, food trucks, coffee shops, bars and smaller venues, all donating to Three Square for each promotion sold. For instance, Able Baker Brewing Company has created a Restaurant Week flight and will donate $3 for each one sold. At Westgate Las Vegas, the team created a creamy “Dream to Feed All” cocktail, available at multiple venues, with a portion going to Three Square. So get clicking. And eating. And drinking. The classic Flamingo Showroom is the home of RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!, a vibrant, music and fashion-focused spectacle directed by RuPaul and Jamal Sims and produced by World of Wonder, the same team behind the hit TV show. It expands on that format with the competing queens showing off their skills in lip-sync, on the dance floor and on the runway, with the eye-popping performances bolstered by an engaging, party-ready soundtrack. Asia O’Hara serves as host, interacting with the audience and bringing out the other queens for their time to shine. Queens including Kameron Michaels, Derrick Barry and Naomi Smalls take turns displaying their distinct skills and style with interspersed video clips adding the right amount of “Mama Ru” to the glamorous proceedings and the six-man Pit Crew dance squad injecting extra sizzle. “As much as you rehearse and prepare, nothing can prepare you for the actual show in front of a live audience, and my role is a little different in Las Vegas because a lot of times we’re in front of people that may have never seen an episode of Drag Race,” O’Hara said. “It’s my job every night to bring these people into our world.” –Brock Radke

Devilishly Good Entertainment meets flavor at Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen, one of the most popular restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip. Named for Ramsay’s hit reality series, the dining room will be recognizable to fans with its now-iconic red and blue kitchens. And the cuisine that fans see being served on the show is all here—although, unlike the show, all are cooked to perfection each and every time, of course. Take a seat in the high-energy dining room and get ready for a real adventure. The signature cocktail list has a bit of everything, from the Meet Your Maker, made with Maker’s Mark, of course, Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur, mint, apple, strawberry and cinnamon, to the Notes From Gordon, a cocktail featuring Plymouth dry gin, green tea, lemongrass, peach and lemon. Most know about Ramsay’s beef Wellington, a juicy cut of meat surrounded by a pastry shell in a red wine demi-glace, but explore the rest of the menu. Jidori chicken scallopini is pure decadence, served with roasted pee wee potatoes, artichokes and lacinato kale, while crispy skin salmon is complemented by white beans, sea bean salad and Iberico chorizo, all in a citrus beurre blanc. –Ken Miller

Audiences can’t help connecting to Luxor show Before the Blue Man Group show even starts, you’re in a great mood, thanks to a digital ticker on both sides of the crowd giving the audience instructions, such as applauding for notable athletes in the crowd or saying “Happy birthday!” to someone in unison. It’s so simple, but it gets the crowd warmed up and loose for the fun to come. Once the propulsive EDM music begins (anyone who’s been to Electric Daisy Carnival will know exactly what we’re talking about), it’s hard to not move your body around. of curiosity. Families with young children should know that this is as all-ages as a show can get. There’s barely anything spoken during the entire show (other than tutorials on how colors are interpreted in our brain and how plumbing works); the Blue Men wordlessly discover the musical properties of Cap’n Crunch and cell phones, not to mention the artistic possibilities of chewed gumballs, mouths full of marshmallows, and paint spilled on drums that are being furiously pounded. One of the show’s signature moments—when an audience volunteer is brought onstage to share a dinner with the Blue Men, complete with
music, flowers and Twinkies—has been changed slightly in keeping with safety protocols; we don’t want to give too much away, other than to say the segment is every bit as hilarious as before. By the time the show climaxes with large, mechanical insects that can be played like a percussion instrument, followed by smoke rings billowing from drum sets—we dare you to not try to catch one!—you’ll be on your feet and working up a sweat. Sometimes we need reminding that, in this time of great division, music is still a uniting force. –Ken Miller Luxor, 702.262.4400

The word ambrosia refers to the food of the gods, and for fans of ’70s rock, the group Ambrosia just about fits that bill. The music goes down easy, with hooks that propelled them onto the top 40 on a regular basis. And while the lineup may have changed slightly over the decades, the endless appeal of their greatest songs ensures they will live forever for fans of oldies playlists. The California-based group, which started with David Pack, Joe Puerta, Christopher North and Burleigh Drummond, enjoyed success thanks to singles like “How Much I Feel,” “Biggest Part of Me,” “You’re the Only Woman (You & I)” and “Holdin’ on to Yesterday.” Incredibly, the band’s current iteration features most of the original members, including Puerta, Drummond and North, with Kipp Lennon replacing Pack as lead vocalist. Living his dream in Las Vegas Chuck Nguyen had one dream when he thought of Las Vegas—he wanted to own his own nightclub. “Obviously this is the mecca of the bartending world,” says the Wisconsin native. “But I really wanted to own my own nightclub; I really wanted to come out here and be in the No. 1 place for nightclubs.” But now he’s living—and loving—a different dream. When he moved to town 10 years ago, he brought six years of bartending experience with him working at various bars and clubs in Michigan, where he went to college. He quickly got hired at some of the best pool clubs and nightclubs in Vegas, and for the past seven years he’s been a bartender at Influence, The Pool at The Linq (he also bartends at Omnia nightclub at Caesars Palace). “I’ve been lucky enough to make a good path for myself,” Nguyen says. “I’m having so much fun bartending and I love what I do that it’s hard for me now to want to transition to the other
part of managing and owning. I enjoy my life as a bartender, so I’m riding that out.” Nguyen loves being behind the bar at Influence—a more casual, welcoming 21-and-over pool club that overlooks The Linq Promenade. “I love the aspect of creating an atmosphere that people love to be in,” he says. “I look at this place as a home to me and I’m the host of a party. We set that tone as a bartender to create that atmosphere. This pool is more like your backyard barbecue party. Something that you’d like to go to and hang out with your friends, feel comfortable—it’s not all high maintenance and you have to be dressed to the nines. It’s more laid-back—we got good music, good vibes.” With so much fun being had behind the bar, will Nguyen ever fulfill his nightclub dream? “I’ve learned so much over 16 years in this industry,” he says. “I think I could run a successful club—so yeah, definitely don’t count me out, that’s for sure.” –Kiko Miyasato

Stone arches and walls frame dining niches; hanging topiaries act as chandeliers; plush, upholstered chairs and benches are accented with cushy embellished pillows; and greenery is strung throughout, all creating a château garden patio feel that is utterly charming. One of the draws of Vanderpump’s restaurants in California and at Caesars Palace are the cocktails. Here, a wide variety issues forth from a long, marble-topped bar, on which stylized lamps resembling ornate umbrellas rest. Where There’s Smoke
Las Vegas’ barbecue joints will keep you coming back For many of us, summertime is barbecue season—not just the time for grilling burgers and dogs in our backyards, but the best time to visit our favorite out-of-the-way smokehouses and enjoy some meats and sides with slow-cooked flavors. As a desert oasis, Las Vegas is certainly far from the great barbecue capitals across the country, but that doesn’t mean you can’t satisfy this craving in Sin City.

On the Strip, the Texas-style Gilley’s (702.894.7111) at Treasure Island has long been the primary destination for baby back ribs, beef brisket, and a pulled pork sandwich piled high with smoked onion barbecue sauce and coleslaw that can feed at least two people. Just across the way at The Linq Promenade, Virgil’s Real Barbecue (702.389.7400) also offers cozy outdoor seating so you can get the full
experience (and great people-watching) as you feast on house specialties smoked over hickory and fruit woods. Virgil’s Pig Out! platter offers Memphis-style spareribs, sliced Texas brisket, Carolina pulled pork and a smoked half chicken, plus sides. Rollin Smoke Barbeque (702.836.3621) is beloved by locals for its Arkansas-style dishes and has five locations around town, including concessions at T-Mobile Arena and Allegiant Stadium. Whether you love baby backs, beef ribs, smoked bird or hot links, this place keeps it rollin’ and keeps the big flavors coming. And speaking of local favorites, Jessie Rae’s BBQ (702.541.5546), found in the shadow of Allegiant just off the Strip, has graduated from hidden-gem status, thanks to the widespread popularity of what its cooks call Las Vegas-style barbecue. Try their slow-smoked ribs and brisket, and don’t forget the mac and cheese, tater tots and barbecue mashed potatoes to go with it.
In the Downtown Vegas Arts District along Main Street, two joints are causing a stir with vastly different barbecue styles. Chef Bruce Kalman’s Soulbelly BBQ (702.483.4404) is perfectly positioned between two breweries and serves up live music and craft cocktails along with creative regional dishes like pork and cheddar hot links, a smoked beef burger, and a brisket sandwich with pickled onions, cheese sauce and a fried egg. You can go traditional or experimental at Soulbelly, but down the street at Braeswood Tex-Mex-BBQ (725.242.2097), you’re going the Tex-Mex route. Try a combo plate with smoked brisket taco and meaty pork ribs, or go all in with the posole ramen, a spicy noodle soup with a mighty slab of beef riding shotgun. IF THERE WAS ONE INSTANCE in Sting’s career that pointed the way towards a post-Police future, it was his appearance at 1981 Amnesty International benefit The Secret Policemen’s Other Ball. Sting’s appearance at the charity event organized by members of sketch comedy troupe Monty Python was the musical highlight during which he performed acoustic versions of “Roxanne” and “Message in a Bottle.” Shorn of the reggae-punk sound with which they were originally recorded, the songs revealed an introspective, vulnerable musician whose jazz leanings would emerge in his subsequent solo career. Those songs have been in Sting’s setlist for his current My Songs tour coming to Caesars Palace, where he returns after a triumphant debut Colosseum residency last fall. For his second extended engagement The Englishman in Las Vegas offers a career retrospective that begins with “Bottle” and concludes with the title song from his latest album The Bridge. That album is the latest example of Sting following his muse, inspiration that just happens to coincide with his musical taste. The first example was his 1985 debut solo album The Dream of the Blue Turtles. Sting had recruited the cream of the crop of then-upcoming jazz musicians including saxophonist Branford Marsalis, drummer Omar Hakim, bassist Darryl Jones and keyboardist Kenny Kirkland. The recording just happened to drop when smooth jazz was burgeoning as a radio format and crossed over to become a rock and contemporary hits radio success. Blue Turtles contained “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free,” an answer song to the Police’s biggest hit, “Every Breath You Take,” and a Sting setlist mainstay. One song that hasn’t been part of recent concert content but is most likely to be added is “Russians,”
Photos by Denise Truscello
which has taken on new meaning since the invasion of Ukraine. Sting released a new version this year to benefit Help Ukraine Center, and stated in an Instagram post that, “I’ve only rarely sung this song in the many years since it was written because I never thought it would be relevant again. But, in the light of one man’s bloody and woefully misguided decision to invade a peaceful, unthreatening neighbor, the song is once again a plea for our common humanity.” Sting has never been short on humanity, having supported a plethora of causes with his better half Trudie Styler. Ever the renaissance man, he played a supporting role in 2021 French film Kaamelott: The First Chapter. Now the focus is on playing live, and the quantity of Police hits played will satisfy any ’80s music aficionado, while the deep dive into solo material likely will include several songs with “Love” in the title, brand new tracks from The Bridge such as “Rushing Water” and deep cuts like “I’m So Happy I Can’t Stop Crying.” At 70, Sting’s energy seems inhuman. With all the years of running and yoga he’s fashioned a physical self that could enable him to perform and record for years to come. Consider him an alien, a legal alien in Las Vegas creating a temporary Magic Stingdom in the Colosseum.

Shin Lim thrills with his spectacular close-up feats

BE PREPARED for an audience participation trick right out of the gate when attending Limitless, Shin Lim’s close-up magic showcase inside The Mirage Theatre. Spoiler alert: It involves cards. Although Lim resists his act being referred to as “magic,” as in supernatural defiance of physics, he can’t argue that it’s not magical. He draws too many “oohs” and “aahs” from fans who were introduced to his spectacular brand of sleight-of-hand on America’s Got Talent and Penn & Teller: Fool Us. Once they are seated and see the plastic-wrapped rectangles in front of them, they are fully drawn into Lim’s universe. That universe was created when Lim exchanged a future playing 88 piano keys for one that orbited around decks of 52 playing cards. Lim was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome while preparing for a career in music, a plot point in his life that is woven into the biographical thread running through the show. The stage set-up is simple: piano, table, crystal-clear jumbo screen above the stage, mentalist Colin Cloud, and Lim’s graceful hands. Scottish-born Cloud, himself an AGT alumni, transcends mentalist tropes with a rapid-fire delivery and razor-sharp timing. He keeps the show moving quickly with segments that contrast with Lim’s ethereal flow and graceful delivery. One might think carpal tunnel would have hampered Lim’s ability to pull off amazing feats of dexterity, but if he’s feeling any pain, he hides it well. The ability to manage pain became crucial once the emotive pianist was bitten by the

sleight-of-hand bug. Witnessing one trick, the slip force, got him hooked. A medical sabbatical from music study before he embarked on a sustained period of 20 hours a week of practice gave him a chance to refine his approach to close-up magic and develop his own tricks as well as garner a YouTube following. Increasing momentum led to his first International Federation of Magic Societies (FISM) convention in 2012. He came in sixth at the world championship held at the triannual convention, then won first place in 2015. Television audiences were introduced to Lim that year when he appeared on Fool Us, clearly earning the respect of Penn Jillette and Teller. Like Teller, Lim creates mystique by opting to use few words, if any. The approach works great for international audiences but had to change once Lim’s path directed toward Vegas. He worked on his banter while competing on AGT during the show’s 13th season. By the time he arrived at The Mirage in October 2019, he was a polished pro who had audiences practically eating out of his hands. Lim draws some of the most enthusiastic audiences on the Strip, creating an atmosphere that causes the proceedings at Limitless to climax in standing ovations. It’s like being part of a big club, with Lim demonstrating his skill to the music of Sting or making cards disappear, only to re-emerge from his mouth with a puff of smoke. He might just be the No. 1 close-up magic performer in the world, a virtuoso demonstrating the art of illusion in contemporary style like no one else can.

Shania Twain delivers hit after hit in ‘Let’s Go!’ By Nina King

If you’ve ever wanted to see a legend, then you’re in luck, because Shania Twain starts the latest round in her Las Vegas residency, Let’s Go!, this week. Although it seems hard to believe, the Canadian superstar has been in the music industry for more than three decades, with more than 100 million albums sold worldwide. And in her Vegas show, she
delivers all her hits, thrilling the fans who fill Zappos Theater. Although Twain has changed up her setlist throughout the Let’s Go! residency, which started in 2019, her latest one starts off with “Rock This Country!” a constant in her tours and residencies. And it has its intended effect: Once it starts, every member of the audience is on their feet dancing, as Twain brings an energetic presence to the stage. “Life’s About to Get Good,” “Up!” “Don’t Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)” and “Come On Over” keep fans up, while enormous graphics blossom over and around the stage. Twain speaks to the crowd, introducing this song, then that one, and dashing off for costume changes throughout. (Yes, you’ll see that famous midriff, and her duster is sure to make an appearance.) What else might you see? A great band, of course, one that does justice to “You’re Still the One” and “You Win My Love.” Those popular songs just keep on coming, and midway through the concert the stage transforms into the Twain Town Saloon, where she performs some of her biggest hits, bringing up crowd members to hang out in the process. “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” “Any Man of Mine”

and “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?” make a perfect match for the Western motif. It’s not all high energy, though. “Party For Two,” “Fix You” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love” show off her slower side and let her stretch herself with a couple of covers. She closes out the show with “(If You’re Not In It For Love) I’m Outta Here!” “From This Moment On” and fan favorite “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” And you might find that she changes out a song or two, so keep your eyes and ears open. Twain has had two residencies here, and actually started this one in 2019, but was rudely interrupted by the pandemic. She’s more than made up for that by extending the run, with the last shows in the residency scheduled for September.

If you’ve seen a clip of his performances on TV’s America’s Got Talent, you know Dustin Tavella is a different breed of magician, one who incorporates his personal story into his illusions and presentation onstage. In Las Vegas, you can catch Tavella doing his thing at the Luxor Theater in the thrilling live version of the hit competition show, America’s Got Talent Las Vegas Live, where he shares the stage with other talented entertainers from different disciplines. It’s an opportunity he truly relishes and another exciting chapter in his own story.
People outside of Vegas don’t realize what living in Vegas is like. For it was kind of scary because we were moving across the country, and we were unsure about Vegas. But we could not be happier. Our neighborhood is amazing, the boys love it, there’s always other kids out playing basketball and riding scooters, and we’ve become close with our neighbors. We’ve been pleasantly surprised, and we love life in Vegas.
The craziest thing is my life was already in a place where so much was changing, and it just kept getting crazy after my audition. We got a phone call asking if we wanted our adopted son’s older brother, and that was in the midst of doing AGT. Looking back to just six months ago versus now, I’m living a different life. And I went from being super broke and wondering what’s next in a pandemic to adopting two boys, moving and having a fulltime job doing two shows every night, five nights a week.
I think both my wife and I have been through a lot of crazy stuff in our lives; we both had a run in the entertainment industry, and I got to a place where I decided That would be absolutely if I was going to work incredible, and I have been hard for anything, I working on some things wanted to be able to that I’m hoping could bring hope to people make it possible to do Luxor and share some of something like that. 702.262.4400 those things we’ve But life has been gone through and such a whirlwind and struggled to overcome. we’re taking it one day Our culture is fueled with at a time.
