Passionate Pianist
EGOT-winning star returns to Las Vegas
John Legend is a firm believer in the fusion of spirituality and music, and an ardent endorser of practicing mindfulness. It’s his ability to stay in the moment that’s made his career climb seem so e ff ortless.
He was born John Roger Stephens in Springfied, Ohio, to music-loving parents. “My mother was the church choir director,” he said during a March 21-26 stint as guest host of the Radio Headspace podcast. “My father sang in the choir and played the drums, so I grew up in the church and I grew up around a lot of music.”
An upright piano was the centerpiece of the Stephens’ living room, and Legend begged his mother to let him take lessons. “I had this drive. I wanted to be good at this thing that I loved. I wanted to play music for other people. I grew up in the church and watched other musicians playing in front of the audience, and I wanted to be one of those people who could move people with their music.”
Legend did wind up performing in church and practiced his lessons diligently. His piano playing can be heard on “Everything Is Everything” from Lauryn Hill’s 1998 debut The
Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, and he contributed backing vocals to tracks by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys before Kanye West discovered him and produced his 2004 debut album, Get Lifted
That album contained his first huge hit, “Ordinary People,” which earned Legend Best Male R&B Vocal Performance honors at the 2006 GRAMMY Awards. Get Lifted won for Best R&B Album that year and Legend was named Best New Artist. He’d win nine more GRAMMYs in the ensuing years, most recently in 2021 for Bigger Love
Legend earned a Best Original Song Oscar in 2015 for “Glory” from the film Selma, a Tony in 2017 for co-producing a revival of August Wilson’s Jitney and an Emmy in 2018 for playing the title role in Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert. And while Legend probably won’t walk on water in Zappos Theater during Love In Las Vegas on Oct. 14-15, fans expecting to be moved by his music will not be disappointed.

Feel the Energy
Two-Michelin-starred chef adds a new lounge menu to hit Japanese restaurant
In a very short amount of time, Wakuda has established itself as one of the must-visit restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip. Its pedigree is beyond criticism, thanks to a worldclass décor and a varied, stylized menu by two-Michelin-starred chef Tetsuya Wakuda. Every inch of this space is a visual feast, from a 16-foot-long installation by Yusk Imai in the dining room to two enormous sumo sculptures created by Shohei Otomo.
And, recently, the restaurant upped its game even more by debuting a lounge menu, ideal for those on their way to a show or coming back from a nightclub experience, famished and ready to relax. The space itself is very inviting, with customers surrounded by nature-inspired elements like dark woods, cherry blossom wall coverings and contemporary artwork.
Like the rest of the establishment, the lounge is designed to have the energy of Tokyo’s Shinjuku ward, known for its small restaurants, bars and izakaya. From 5 p.m. until closing, guests can enjoy a new lineup of dishes, including mini chirashi (assorted seafood on rice), mini donburi (chicken, salmon or Prime tenderloin on rice) and a la carte or platter-style sushi and sashimi.
Cocktails are designed to fit every palate. Fans of lighter fare will want to try the Golden Gai, made with Shibui pure malt Japanese whiskey, Campari, Carpano Antica Formula sweet vermouth, and the Competent, featuring Haku vodka, Luxardo Aperitivo, lychee, yellow Chartreuse and lime. For those wanting something with a real kick, defi nitely check out either the Shishito Sour, which uses charred shishito pepper in addition to Haku vodka, cucumber, plum, lemon and egg white, or the Daze, highlighted by blanco tequila infused by umeboshi (pickled ume fruits).
If you attend Friday or Saturday night, make sure to get a good seat: Guest DJs perform every Friday and Saturday night.

Big Fun for All
Get the gang together for a swinging good time
Although it’s not the best thing you’ll see on the golf course, it’s pretty sweet when you watch a golfer slice the ball at Topgolf Las Vegas, where just putting the ball in play can add to your score. And that happens more often than you might imagine, as the attraction draws all manner of players to its 120 bays, spread across four levels.
Topgolf features several games, including the signature Topgolf game, where you are going for accuracy and distance. It’s perfect to practice that stance and swing. The Angry Birds game combines the video game with your shots, and a display in your bay plays back the feather-flinging results. If you’re a little better, try Jewel Jam and match three in a row to cause a cascading e ffect. Other games are suitable only if you are practically a pro—if you play virtual courses, accuracy is demanded.
You’ll find a full food and drink menu, too, with pizzas, burgers, wings and specialty items like a miso salmon bowl, chicken Boursin bacon fltbread, kalbi short rib tacos and the magnificent sheet pan nachos. On the drinks side, there’s plenty of beer, wine margaritas and signature items like Topgolf Tea. There’s even a full bar on the top floor, with private suites and a pool available.
If you want some good advice while you’re here, Topgolf has pros on staff ho can give you quick tips or full lessons.

Can You Handle It?
It’s a long road to the top and even a longer one before an act reaches the superstar level of Usher Raymond IV. Usher’s path has led to eight GRAMMY wins and 23 nominations, nine Billboard Hot 100 No. 1s, 65 million albums sold, a monster hit that was part of Strip nightlife’s soundtrack for years in “Yeah!” and now a headlining residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM with Usher: My Way–The Vegas Residency.
Usher’s destiny was determined by talent, con fidence and having the right mentors at the right time. Starting in Chattanooga, Tenn., with a group called New Beginnings, he relocated with his family to Atlanta, where he became a Star Search winner and came to the attention of LaFace Records. At age 13 he was sent to New York City to learn about living the recording artist’s life from Sean “Pu ff y” Combs. Usher’s eponymous debut album came out in 1994. He then came under the in fluence of producer Jermaine Dupri and found his artistic self with 1997’s My Way. The album’s lead single, “You Make Me Wanna...,” became a huge hit, followed by “Nice & Slow” and the title track. He won his fi rst GRAMMY in 2001 with “U Re-
mind Me,” recognized as Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.
All four songs have been part of his My Way residency, with “My Way” kicking off his summer’s shows. Confessions launched Usher into the stratosphere. The 2004 album spent 129 weeks on the Billboard 200, with nine weeks at No. 1. “Yeah!” fueled by an irresistible synth hook and Lil Jon’s punctuating shout-outs, became the No. 1 song for 12 weeks, only to be replaced by Usher’s follow-up single “Burn.” He’d later perform Confessions single “Caught Up” along with “Get Up (I Feel Like Being a) Sex Machine” with James Brown at the 2005 GRAMMYs.
Brown, Michael Jackson, Prince and Stevie Wonder are arguably all musical godfathers to Usher. He’s cited them as major in fluences, and their level of showmanship, as well as stage professionalism, continue to inspire his live shows.
His Dolby Live production is studded with examples chosen from a catalog that includes 28 Top 10 and 13 No. 1 Hot R&B songs. –Matt Kelemen

Downtown pool club keeps its doors open year-round
As pools start closing for the season, there’s one place that remains open every single day of the year— Stadium Swim
This 365-day, all-in-one facility is the spot to hang poolside. All the pools are heated for fall and winter temps, and that comes in handy when it comes to football and hockey season. The massive, 40-foot-tall, high-de finition screen with 14 million pixels will display all the game-day action, and guests can even cheer on their team in style by booking one of 30 large cabanas.
“In the winter where every other pool is closing, we’re still open,” says EJ Stagner, director of Stadium Swim. “We basically have six huge hot tubs. With the sports, college football, NFL, it’s a great place to come and watch the games.”
Spread across three levels, the 21-and-over complex has a 4,000-person capacity, tons of lounge chairs and daybeds and six pools. Blackjack tables, live DJ music and a walk-up bar are some bonuses, as well as a huge menu of specialty cocktails, elevated food options and bottle service.
“It’s de finitely diff erent,” Stagner says. “It’s a great experience. I think it provides not only downtown but Las Vegas in general a great place for both locals and tourists. It really gives you the best of both worlds—if you just want to come for the pool party and experience that or for sports fans, this is really the only place in Vegas, in the country, to really experience watching your team.” Kiko Miyasato
A Secret Worth Sharing
Take a special peek inside a downtown speakeasy
The Laundry Room is a true speakeasy in form and function. The space was originally a laundry room for guests of the El Cortez Hotel & Casino across the street. People like Liberace, Frank Sinatra and Dean
Perk
Martin had their dirty laundry made clean. (“Bugsy Siegel had that questionable smudge removed from his trouser leg before meeting with the lawyers,” according to The Laundry Room.)
More than half a century later, the room still keeps secrets by serving as a very intimate speakeasy (capacity is less than two dozen people). There are also speakeasy rules: no talking on the phone, no
To access The Laundry Room , you must make a reservation on laundryroomlv.com . But how do you fi nd the place?
Look for Commonwealth in the Fremont East District. Step to the big red doors, ask for security, tell them you have a reservation, and the next steps will be falling down the rabbit hole.
An-Teaked
–Lead bar manager/bartender Anthony Partridgestanding at the bar and the biggie, no photography—meaning no sel fies and no snaps of your cocktail. “In the true idea of a speakeasy—there’s supposed to be no record of it,” said Anthony Partridge, lead bar manager/bartender.
The speakeasy experience con tinues to the menu, no shots at this bar! “We are very much a cocktail venue,” Partridge said. “(The Laundry Room) is like having sit-down service for cocktails. Unlike the loud, boisterous nightclub, it takes after an elevated sit-down experience.” Here, you’ll need to have patience, as the cocktails are made with precision and care, which takes time. But it’s sooo worth it—these are some of the best cocktails you’ll have in Las Vegas, and that’s thanks to Partridge, who created the menu, and his team.
The menu is broken down into the “mother cocktails” (classic cocktails), which Partridge uses as a base to create a completely new or altered taste experience.
Three standout examples include the Foreshadowing, a take on the Old-Fashioned. This one is pink, thanks to the use of rhubarb gin, and is mixed with Alpine liqueur, elderflwer, habanero bitters and rosemary. “You’ll catch that fruit, flral value up front,” Partridge said. “And you will get a nice, spiced fi nish, and minted fi nish from the Alpine l iqueur.”
not a tiki venue, but if you have a tiki hankering, it’s got those characteristics,” he said.
And fi nally there's the Viva Lav Crem (one of the best cocktails this writer has ever tried!), based off the classic brandy Alexander and mixed with rum, heavy cream, lemon, vanilla and lavender. “It’s not overtly sweet,” he said. “Somewhere between the lavender bitters and the scratch of lemon juice, it really balances everything out.”
We say it’s near impossible if the menu selection doesn’t appeal, but if you can’t pick one, no worries; there’s a long list of flavors at the back of the menu. Pick five and the mixologist does the rest.
Special: Live piano music
Then there’s An-Teaked, a take on a tiki cocktail from the sours category. It's made with dark rum, German amaro, pineapple, lime, vanilla, mint and nutmeg. “We’re
“As far as The Laundry Room experience, I really get the chance to give people something they haven’t tasted before,” Partridge said. “I ... construct something for them rather than ply them with alcohol. The experience is a little more noteworthy in that respect. People will say it’s the best experience they’ve ever had.

Work hard and you'll be rewarded
Coco Rodriguez is living proof that if you come to the U.S. and work hard, you can find success.
Born and raised in Oaxaca, Mexico, Rodriguez moved to Las Vegas in 2005. “I came to Vegas to be successful,” he says. When he landed here, he worked multiple jobs and went to school to learn English. One day a friend told him about a dishwasher position at Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas. Rodriguez passed the interview and was hired in 2007—he worked for several years as a busboy, then moved up to food runner, and, for the past three years, he’s been one of the beer hall’s top servers.
“It’s a really good place to work if you’re a hard worker,” he says. “Germans own it, and they love hard-working people, and they recognize hard-working people. I have a really good relationship with them—we’ve known each other for a really long time. I feel like I belong here.”
Rodriguez is hugely popular with guests of Hofbräuhaus, too. “People always come back,” he says. “People have a lot of fun here. My customers always say, ‘Coco, I’m going to come back. We love the place. We love the food. We love the beer. We love you. We’re gonna come back.’”
• Libation • German Electric Lemonade
The beer hall offers specialty cocktails like the German Electric Lemonade with Deep Eddy vodka, Marie Brizard blue curaçao, fresh lemon sour and Hobräu original lager. However, grab yourself a stein of beer as well! –KM
With his positive attitude and good vibes, it’s very easy to see why Rodriguez is a popular server, and why he’s found success.
“I want to prove myself. I’m always watching motivational videos and (learning) how to talk better, how to communicate better with people–I’m always trying to improve myself. If you want to be OK and you want to have a good life, you can get like three jobs in Vegas; there’s a lot of opportunity here to work hard. You can be successful here; you can get a better life. If you have the right mentality, you can do anything in Las Vegas.” –Kiko Miyasato

Amalfi y Bobby Flay transports you to the coast
By Ken MillerFans of Bobby Flay’s Las Vegas enterprises no doubt remember fondly his Mesa Grill at Caesars Palace, for years a beloved Mexican joint that was full of Flay’s personal touches, from the décor
to the menu to the waitstaff. And while Mesa Grill is no more (booooo!), in its place is another Flay classic, one that instantly became a go-to spot for foodies: Amalfi y Bobby Flay, a celebration of the vibe and cuisine of the Amalfi Coast of Italy.
The first thing you’ll notice is the completely new look of the space. There’s so much quality in even the tiniest details, from the soaring ceilings and tile work to the light woods and curving walls. But what you’ll really notice is the centerpiece—several circular,
blue-tiled receptacles, each containing fre sh fish. The o ff erings change from week to week, and if you decide to go the fish route, you get to select the one you want! There’s also someone on hand to give you information about the diff erent o ff erings. It’s a nice addition to what’s already a special experience.
Given that this is an Italian restaurant, you’ll likely want an Italian-inspired cocktail to spice up your meal. There’s a healthy selection of spritzes, highlighted by the Amalfi Selim Spumante, Cappelleti Aperitivo and soad) and the
Sbagliato (Drusian Prosecco DOCG, Dolin sweet vermouth and Cappelletti Aperitivo). If you want something a bit stronger, try the Limonata, featuring Bacardi rum, limonata soda, lemon and mint, or an espresso martini, made with Stoli vodka, New Deal co ff ee liqueur and espres so.
Appetizers have been designed with all palates in mind, from pescatarians (salmon carpaccio served with pistachio breadcrumbs) to vegetarians (bufala mozzarella accompanied by charred lemon leaves and a caprese relish).
From there, you’ve got your choice of pastas, chicken, steak or, of course, fish. The flvor of the crushed pea agnolotti is irresistible, especially when flvored with lemon, ricotta and mint. Jidori chicken al forno is a succulent dish with bite, thanks to salsa verde in addition to its pecorino crust and pancetta accompaniment. Meat choices range from a 10-ounce filet mignon to a 24-ounce bone-in ribeye, all Prime certified Angus beef, and all solid choices. But really, we’d never forgve ourselves if we didn’t recommend the fish here. The program is really world-class; have your selection grilled whole or filleted and served with your choice of
Meyer lemon and capers, red pepper and Calabrian chili pesto, or salsa verde.
As with Amalfi’s décor, there’s heaven in the small details, and that extends to the side dishes here, from the Cremini mushroom polenta, accented by mascarpone, Parmigiano and white truffle oil, to the green beans, made with Calabrian chili pecorino and Marcona almonds.
Save some room! The dessert menu here is packed with temptation, and you’ll gladly give in. The Lemon, Lemon, Lemon is three versions of the flvor— cake, custard and crisps. The blood orange cheesecake is another highlight, drizzled with blood orange caramel.

Passion for performance drives David Copperfield
The master magicians of Las Vegas are naturally secretive about their work. They would likely prefer not too many details be revealed about their performances. One aspect David
Copperfield probably doesn’t mind
revealing involves making audience members’ mobile phones disappear inside darkly colored wooden boxes a xed to the tabletops inside his eponymous theater at MGM Grand Las Vegas. Foreshadowing the rest of his performance without spoilers can be tricky.
Copperfield’s current show is about possibilities and poignancy, magical moments and grand illusions. He clearly loves cars, from gleaming red Ferraris to beautifully maintained classic models, and has the power to make them appear, disappear and levitate. His psychic abilities are sharp as ever and his methods of demonstrating them are both arcane and inimitable. He literally travels back in time after telling a
story about an important figure from
his past and at one point shares the stage with a charismatic companion who is out of this world.
Having his show crescendo with a close encounter of the third kind is the only way Copperfield can top himself after a career that includes making the Statue of Liberty vanish, walking through the Great Wall of China and escaping from Alcatraz. There’s a fantasy element for the Dungeons & Dragons demographic as well. It’s all tied together by the casual self-assuredness that’s characterized Copperfield’s performances since he established himself as an icon of magic in the ’70s.
Copperfield is part of magic history now, as well as one of its most
astute historians. Where 19th century theatrical illusionist forefather Jean-Eugène Robert-Houdin brought magic to the masses and gave a command performance for Queen Victoria, Copperfield reached mass 20th century television audiences and gave a command performance for President Reagan. Like Harry Houdini, he performed the most widely publicized illusions and stunts
of his time.
With great magical powers came great responsibility, so it was natural for Copperfield to collect archives of past masters of the conjuring arts and move them into a private museum somewhere in the Las Vegas Valley, maintained for researchers and occasional interested parties.
His collection of islands in the
Caribbean contains what he claims is an authentic fountain of youth, where leaves fallen from trees turn
green again.
The secret fountain may explain why Copperfield looks several decades younger than he is. It’s been more than 40 years since he starred as the mysterious magician who enchanted Jamie Lee Curtis in , nearly The Magic of television special and almost a half century since, fresh out of high school, he was cast as The
cult slasher film Terror Train 45 years since his first the lead in theatrical comedy Magic Man
Now, like Robert-Houdin, he
has his own theater. A year ago, his David Copperfield’s , was published. He is a living legend of magic, at the height of his powers, with a secret hand sign he shares with fans that symbolizes the passion behind his performances.

brings music and mystery to The Venetian for ‘A Starlight Symphony’
By Matt KelemenWhen Sarah Brightman arrives at The Venetian for her A Starlight Symphony … An Evening with Sarah Brightman engagement, she’ll be fresh from attending a ceremony honoring her with the 2,736th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The exhilaration generated from the event will likely carry over into the Starlight Symphony shows, her only live U.S. appearances of the year for which fans from around the world are attending.
The voice that originated the role of Christine Daaé on Broadway will now fi ll the hall where the Vegas version of Phantom of the Opera was performed for five years, bringing Brightman’s career full circle in more ways than one. She’s experienced a serendipitous, celestial journey from her ’70s disco hit “I Lost My Heart to a Starship Trooper” to Starlight Symphony, with her recording catalog recently reaching
more than 100 million plays on Apple Music.
The path that she followed was more organic than calculated, though. “If ever I have felt in the past that I should try to do something that I should be doing, it never really works,” says Brightman in a recent trans-Atlantic phone inter view. “I have to really follow passion, if you like, about something even though everyone would say, ‘That’s not going to work,’ or ‘What are you doing?’ I just followed it because that felt right for me. I think that’s the secret for some creative artists’ success.”
Music, dance and acting was all Brightman knew by the time she had a dance music single on the charts at age 18. She made the transition from disco to musical theater in 1981 when she was cast in Cats, marrying the musical’s composer Andrew Lloyd Webber three years later. Her singing on Lloyd Webber’s 1985 album Requiem and creation of Christine for the 1986 debut of Phantom positioned her for the series of successes to come.
Her latest album, 2018’s Hymn, is cerebral and spiritual. It featured Brightman’s latest work with producer and Gregorian chant revivalist Frank Peterson, as well as a collaboration with Japanese
musician Yoshiki, who will be at Starlight Symphony to perform “Miracle” with her.
Brightman toured extensively in support of Hymn, including a stop at Las Vegas’ The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, but three October 2020 dates at The Venetian had to be canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions. The rescheduled dates gave her the opportunity to “do something that was a little more retrospective.”
“I started going through all the lyrics in all of my pieces and linked a lot of the songs together, taking into account the time of year, like it’s Halloween,” says Brightman.
“I wanted something uplifting but quite mysterious as well. I wanted a very symphonic sound, so I’ve got a wonderful orchestra onstage. I’ve got wonderful mysterious lighting.
… I want to take the audience on a journey from the past up until now. And I wanted to talk a lot within the concert, which I don’t normally do, but I feel I’ve got to that point where I might have some funny things to say to the audience about how things came about.”

KATY PERRY has simply mastered the quality of timelessness, not only through her extensive catalog of hits, but with her ongoing commitment to individuality and creativity. Putting Perry’s imagination on full display, the pop star’s Play residency at Resorts World offers five acts filled with joyful campiness, TikTok-able characters and a setlist that any Katy Cat would approve of.
While you’re going to get to party to all your favorite Perry tunes, this show is far from your typical concert; it’s
crazy. Bringing you four of the most iconic Katy Perry bangers, “California Gurls”, “Hot n Cold,” “Last Friday Night” and a revamped “Waking Up in Vegas,” the fanciful set comes to life with choreographed dancing and overthe-top pyrotechnics.
Katy Perry brings all her talents to ‘Play’ at Resorts World more like a production show. Through animated shorts and detailed sets, go on an adventure with Perry, who is a doll come to life. You’ll follow her through whimsical worlds, beginning in Henry the Horror’s bedroom, where giant furniture dwarfs the 5-foot-7 singer as she belts out “E.T.”, “Chained to the Rhythm,” “Dark Horse” and “Not the End of the World.”
By Em Jurbala
Getting flushed into act two, Perry enters the bathroom, complete with a giant orange toilet, tub and, of course, the dancing poo that made TikTok go
In the third set, you’ll want to eat Perry up. Clad in red and polka dots surrounded by colossal fungi, the songstress serves up psyche delic chic while singing the hit “Bon Appétit.” She delivers “Daisies” while floating among illuminated flowers before descending to deliver one of her earliest successes, “I Kissed a Girl.”
Ratso, a giant vaping alcoholic trash rat (voiced by Harvey Fierstein), banters with the pop star. The obnoxiously enjoyable character comes to life in an oversized trash can that serves as the backdrop for “Lost,” “Part of Me,” “Wide Awake,” as well as “Swish Swish,” which brings opportunity for a little audience participation.
During the show, the star pauses to talk about her family ties to the city and emphasizes the importance that Las Vegas has had in her life.

When Perry set out to create a Vegas residency, she did it right. Combining her flamboyant, cartoonish style with a career-spanning medley of melodies, she created a dream show for longtime fans and newcomers alike.

Paying homage to the city’s past performers, Perry enters the Perry Playland, complete with showgirls and a giant lit staircase where she performs “Teenage Dream,” “Smile” and “Roar.” Perry’s own incredible showmanship combined with vintage Vegas style creates a grand performance that could only fit on a Las Vegas stage.
Complete with an encore that will ignite your light, Play is a show you won’t soon forget. And being in the audience is some of the most fun you’ll have on the Strip.

It was like making a film, shooting scenes we knew would fit with the show and cutting some things and reshooting others. In the end, we had so much material to choose from that it was difficult to cut some of our favorite pieces. But there was never a deadline to put it out. We wanted to get it all nicely finished and ready to be seen, and I think it’s different from the usual comedy specials.
Yeah, we shot the show (parts) in the old theater, but we also wanted to take it outside to the Strip, show some of the tricks we’ve done on the High Roller (Observation Wheel) and other places around Las Vegas. Penn is great to work with. You give him a line and he’ll deliver it five diff erent ways. And he de finitely goes crazy with the character. It’s a very diff erent Penn than what you usually see.
Mr. Piffles is doing a trick where he is (producing) any drink named by some one in the audience. It’s based on a very old trick where you have a tea kettle and a spectator asks for a specific drink and you pour out of the kettle, only instead of that, you have a dog, and instead of the spout, well, you can work the rest out.
Yes, You Can Have It All
Luxury, thy name is MacDonald Highlands, a master-planned masterpiece on 1,320 acres in Henderson that features not one but two 24-hour, guard-gated entries, great schools, shopping , fi ne dining and golf. This is truly an all-in-one living experience, and it could be your new reality, as a home has become avail-
able there, one that’s as spectacular as the community it resides within.
This two-story marvel, listed by Ivan Sher of the Ivan Sher Group, is almost overwhelming in its scope—17,868 square feet! It contains eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, and its garage ca n fit nine vehicles with ease. It’s nestled
high up in the community, and with all the flor-to-ceiling windows, you’re guaranteed wonderful views of everything from the Las Vegas Strip to the surrounding mountains.
The fi rst thing you’ll notice upon arrival is the distinct exterior, from the stone accents to the curving overhangs. It blends perfectly with
its setting, and your guests will be gaping in awe as they enter by a walking bridge that passes through an immaculately landscaped courtyard and enter through a glass pivot door to a glamorous foyer.
The living room makes a serious statement with its flor-to-secondstory windows. From here, you’ll fi nd a dining room with an adjacent walk-in wine cellar and a rotunda library (with a view of spiraling staircase below). An adjoining great room includes a family gathering area, wet bar, breakfast nook, and
entertainment area with access to a covered balcony. A chef’s-style kitchen comes complete with topof-the-line appliances, six-burner range with stir-fry top, island and large peninsula with a farmhouse sink and bar seating for six.
This house was built for exploring, and the more you look, the more you’l l fi nd. Start on the lower flor and you’l l fi nd that the sunken living room opens to a patio, wet bar, billiards room and private dining room. Elsewhere you’l l fi nd a full gym with equipment room, steam
room and private bath with shower. There are also two large guest suites that open to the pool deck.
Speaking of bedrooms, wait until you see the primary suite. In addition to a separate sitting room wit h a fi replace, bath with dual sink, huge soaking tub and walk-in double showers, this room features something truly unique: a large, walk-in, two-story closet(!) with access to a private rooftop balcony.
