It Takes Two

Comedy rock duo ready to rock Vegas into 2023

Bringing rich hard rock sounds and hilarious comedy to the stage, Tenacious D (Jack Black and Kyle Gass) is set to ring in the new year from the Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas with back-to-back nights on Dec. 30-31. Las Vegas Magazine’s Em Jurbala recently had a Zoom call with the duo.

You’ve played Vegas before; do you have any memories to share?

Jack Black: The first time we played Vegas, we actually opened for Beck. Beck invited us down to Vegas to play a concert and I love Beck. And Kyle likes Beck, so we went down and we made it super Vegas-ified. We did a little magic, we had stuffed animals for an animal training bit and we rocked extremely hard. It was just me and Kyle, and who was watching from the wings? Beck. Loving it.

JB: And another time we did that weird Miller Genuine Draft gig.

Kyle Gass: That’s the one.

JB: We’ll never do that again, the blind date. Sometimes it’s fun to play a show where you’re a surprise, then you can win the crowd over, which is generally a good time. But (for this show) they flew everyone in from all over the country on radio

contests to fly into Vegas, drink as much Miller Genuine Draft as you wanted and then see probably your favorite band. You don’t know which band it is, but probably your favorite … Curtain goes up and it’s Tenacious D. Nobody knows us at the time, we’re just starting out, and then everyone, drunk as a skunk, was immediately like, “Boo, we hate you.” … We survived, and by the end only half the people were booing, so it was kind of a victory. Here we are 20 years later, still telling the story.

Wolves of Glendale are coming with you. What brought you together?

KG: I think (John) Spiker was working with the Cooties. We just got to know them and became mutual friends. Then the Cooties fell apart and then the Wolves of Glendale emerged. They’re some funny friends.

JB: John Spiker is our bass player and producer, so these guys were working with him.

And then Kyle became best friends with them and said, “They are our opener,” and I was like “OK. I hope they’re good.”

And I think they are really good. They’re legit funny.

What’s currently fueling your creative process?

KG: Well, some really strong French roast. I’ve been jamming a lot, trying to find some new sounds.

JB: Me and KG have started going out on vision quests. It’s called the AirBNB retreat method of songwriting. We do that. And I force myself to listen to music to try and get inspired. You know what I’ve been listening to that I like. This is nothing new. This was our opening music through all of the Post-Apocalypto tour, but ... KG: Pink Floyd? The Wall? JB: Yeah. This album is not funny at all, so I’m not getting any comic inspiration in there, but look at that sh*t dude. It’s great.

What do you do to nurture the chemistry that you two have?

KG: Well, it’s like a lifetime of bits. Competition, I think, fuels a lot of it, the comedy. But I think similar aesthetics and Jack’s hilarious. I just gotta keep up.

JB: No, we gotta come from love. We gotta stay together. That’s the main thing. Because most comic duos burn out in a fiery explosion and never speak to each other again. We found a way to stay together. That’s the key.

Celebrity chef’s newest restaurant at Harrah’s hits the jackpot of flavor

Gordon Ramsay’s sixth Vegas restaurant opened at Harrah’s this fall and Ramsay’s Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay lives up to its siblings’ reputation, serving up signatures and newer items alike.

Ramsay’s Kitchen features a dynamic menu of cocktails like the strawberry chocolate Negroni, which uses strawberry-chocolate infused gin and the Left Hand Side, with dark rum, Aperol, sweet vermouth and mole bitters—now isn’t that inventive? There are mocktails and wine as well.

Jumbo lump crab cakes, foie gras, and the roasted grape flatbread join selections from the raw bar menu like shrimp cocktail, oysters on the half shell, a seafood tower with a little of everything and beef carpaccio to whet your appetite. The soups include an intriguing vegan option, the potato and cashew, but also onion soup with oxtail. The beet salad sports a smattering of everything bagel croutons for a nice crunch.

In that this is a Ramsay restaurant, of course you will find signature main dishes like beef Wellington and pan-seared scallops, easily recognizable to fans of his TV shows, as well as crispy skin salmon, baked chicken and butternut squash risotto.

If it is a piece of steak you are after, try an 8-ounce filet, 14-ounce bone-in New York strip or the 24-ounce bone-in ribeye. Pair your steak with sides like potato purée, mac & cheese, broccolini with chili flakes and butter and grilled asparagus. The maitake mushrooms are grilled with char siu butter and accented with a miso aioli. Pretty nice! –Nina King

Solid Gold Party

Superstar is ready to help Vegas usher in 2023 in style

It’ll be a 24-Karat New Year’s Eve with GRAMMY-winning artist Bruno Mars leading the festivities on the stage of Dolby Live at Park MGM for two nights, Dec. 30-31.

A Mars concert is not just a concert—it’s a guaranteed party. Backed by his band, the Hooligans, who also perform as his backup dancers and singers, the stage becomes a nonstop jam of music and celebration.

One of the pillars of a Mars concert is not only his catalog of songs the artist takes a musical trip through, beginning with his debut studio album, 2010’s Doo-Wops & Hooligans, but his penchant for busting moves. Mars is a skilled singer, but he’s a very skilled dancer as well, and when the Hooligans get involved, it’s a modern throwback to R&B and soul groups of yesteryear who used the stage for choregraphed, synchronized performances.

With Mars closing out the year, expect to hear all his biggest hits, including “24K Magic,” “Uptown Funk,” “Finesse,” “Just the Way You Are,” “When I Was Your Man,” “Locked Out of Heaven,” “Grenade” and more. Since Mars shares the Dolby Live stage with artist Anderson .Paak, when they perform as Silk Sonic during their residency, expect to hear some of that baby-making music, too. (Don’t be surprised if .Paak makes a surprise appearance to help Mars and crew ring in 2023!). –Kiko Miyasato

Delectable Bites From Land and Sea

Rich flavors of the Mediterranean come to life at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas restaurant

This is a diet I can get behind. Although the traditional Mediterranean diet is rich in veggies, beans, nuts, seeds and seafood, the Mediterranean diet at Olives by Todd English also has a few additions to enliven your night. Situated off the main corridor into Virgin, the entry into Olives leads past a bar area where a good luck chicken greets guests on one side, while lovely fragrances emanate from the kitchen opposite. The airy dining room is backed by a wall of windows looking onto the patio beyond. Cushy booths nestle on that wall, and modern tables, chairs and murals fill in the rest.

Start with a lovely opener, tapenades and hummus served with tender focaccia. Although everyone will have their favorites, both Kalamata and green olive versions are amazing—savory and salty, with a smooth texture that retains small chunks of olive. Beet salad has a fair few of those components, with the roasted root vegetable placed atop a scrumptious carrot purée accented with frisée, pistachio and sesame seeds.

There are numerous seafood options on the menu, fitting in well with that diet idea, but the pasta options are where that idea begins to deviate. The mezza rigatoni alla vodka delivers a smooth sauce with a spicy kick, while mushroom potato ravioli puts a spin on the dish with the addition of black truffle. Two other attractive options include the tagliatelle with a veal and pork bolognese with Parmesan cream and fried basil; and the lobster spaghettini with Maine lobster and a decadent fennel saffron cream. The eggplant Parmesan is exceptional as well, with a rich, roasted tomato marinara and melty burrata. For dessert, the Nona’s Cookie Plate features your Italian favorites, while mascarpone panna cotta with macerated strawberries and a lemon olive cake is smooth and delightful.

Olives was also recently announced as one of the restaurants featured in the Savor & Soar experience from Maverick Helicopters and Finger Licking Foodie Tours (Wednesday through Sundays, flymaverick.com). –Nina King

The Long Hello

Superstar’s Caesars Palace show finally premieres—to rave reviews and sold-out houses

To say it has been quite a year for Adele would be a massive understatement. The year began with her postponing her eagerly anticipated show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, a move that proved highly polarizing among her fans and the media. But with such downs come the massive ups, and Adele’s show, which finally premiered a few weeks ago, is definitely the latter. It’s drawing rave reviews, and looks to be a production that will remain on the Strip for some time to come.

Weekends With Adele combines the superstar’s greatest hits with the kind of production Las Vegas is famous for. There’s a bit of everything here, from plaintive, quiet performances to larger-thanlife production numbers, from large projection screens displaying animation to the star herself going into the audience to press flesh. Heck, she even launches T-shirts into the audience with a cannon! If you can envision it, odds are it’s in this show.

Highlights include “Hello,” which is just Adele and a pianist, “Set Fire to the Rain,” with flames interspersing with showers, “Take It All,” featuring a trio of backup singers and a pianist, and “Rolling in the Deep,” which features a backdrop of everything from small images of women dancing in unison in small windows to a screen-filling shot of crashing waves.

The production is highly personalized as well. During “When We Were Young,” confetti that falls into the audience is actually pictures from Adele’s childhood. Weekends With Adele is quite the capper to a year that the star—and her fans—will never forget. –Ken Miller

The Art Part

Known for creating evocative and often controversial works, Damien Hirst rose to notoriety as one of the Young British Artists who commandeered the U.K. art scene during the 1990s. Hirst presents a challenging body of work including sculptures created with real animal carcasses, Spots paintings and pharmaceutical-themed installations. While Hirst’s pieces have found well-deserved homes within the walls of the highest art galleries, you don’t need to venture far to see one in person in Las Vegas.

Expertly designed by Hirst himself, Unknown Bar at Palms boldly houses The Unknown (Explored, Explained, Exploded), a trisected shark sculpture created in 1999, surrounded by titillating Spots paintings. With juxtaposition often central to Hirst’s work, Unknown Bar fits right in. The colorful Spots paintings that line the walls make the space exuberant and inviting while also providing structure from their neatly gridded pattern. Contradicting the jolly wall art, the space heavily features white and gray marble

that challenges the exuberance of the Spots while also introducing organic lines that counter the form found upon the walls.

The 13-foot-long segmented tiger shark, preserved in formaldehyde, sits in three glass tanks providing a thought-provoking centerpiece. That counterpoint between Spots and sculpture is again apparent as the biological form sits staunchly trapped within the confines of the triptych-like installation. –Em Jurbala

Friends With Benefits

April Lyman

Being in the restaurant industry was never a question for April Lyman, assistant general manager at STK at The Cosmopolitan. Born in L.A., Lyman was raised in Las Vegas and comes from a family who worked in the Vegas hospitality industry—so she made it a goal to one day work on the Strip, too.

Her first covered job, she says, was working at Le Cirque at Bellagio as a maître d’. She spent five years with the award-winning restaurant before she moved over to Aria to work in convention services. “A couple years later, I wanted to go back to restaurants,”

Lyman says. “I didn’t like the 9-to-5. I like late nights.” So Lyman headed over to The Venetian, where she helped open Sugarcane, taking on her first management role. Three years followed at Nobu at Caesars Palace; she even moved to Newport Beach, Calif., to launch the Nobu there. But after spending three years in California, it was time to move back to Vegas, she says, and that’s when she joined STK, two months ago.

“I missed home,” Lyman says. “And STK had such a great reputation—it’s been open for 12 years and it’s still busy every night. This is a great place for

large groups and parties. If you’re looking to go somewhere quiet, this isn’t the place; this place is fun and upbeat.” STK is like a club and restaurant rolled into one, with gorgeous surroundings, phenomenal food and a live DJ every night—and it’s Lyman’s job to be out on the floor watching over the team and interacting with all the guests.

“I love that every day is different in the restaurant industry,” she says. “Just having that teamwork. And in Vegas you get to meet customers from all around the world. It’s the dream job working in Vegas restaurants.” –Kiko Miyasato

Unique takes on classic dishes at Brezza will leave you entranced

This is definitely one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Las Vegas. Elegant-yet-supremely comfortable Brezza in Resorts World Las Vegas opened when the property did in 2021, and since then has had its customers on repeat.

Inside, a casual bar sweeps across the end of the kitchen, and a wood-

fired oven will draw your attention as you dine. Start with a cocktail, and what better choice than a spritzer?

The Spritzza combines Bisol prosecco, Italicus liqueur, grapefruit and grapefruit soda for a light sip; or choose from four types of Negronis, or a lovely selection of wine, most from Italy, although a few from

California make the list. I am more of a beer person myself, and again there are solid choices here.

Appetizers here will do more than whet your appetite—you’ll be tempted to make them your meal. The heirloom tomatoes served in a caprese with buffalo mozzarella and grilled crostini with basil pesto is simply stellar, and the salumi and cheese board will have you picking throughout your meal. Seafood fans can dig into fried calamari, grilled octopus or steamed clams. From the crudo/raw bar choose, Taylor Bay

scallops, a seafood tower or Tonno carpaccio.

As you would expect, pasta is a big draw here—you’ll find a variety of types, like herb pappardelle served with a lamb ragu, gnocchi with fennel sausage and bucatini amatri-

ciana. My faves are the cappellacci oreganata, fragrant pockets of pasta with cauliflower and spinach inside, and the corn agnolotti. Corn agnolotti has been see on several menus on the Strip recently, and they are all slightly different.

Resorts World Las Vegas 702.676.6014

Brezza’s executive chef, Nicole Brisson, has a long history on the Strip, is an expert on beef, and that’s reflected here. You’ll find house dryaged steaks from 100 to 170 days,

from 16 to 42 ounces. And from the grill, filet mignon, New York strip and a pork T-bone will satisfy. Add on shrimp, scallops or a half-pound lobster, if you wish. Plus, other choices include a whole branzino from the grill, veal marsala and osso buco.

You can’t go wrong with any of those.

Sides are equally as delicious, and mascarpone mashed potatoes are a decadent option. With pickled peppers and a poached egg atop, the dish itself will draw attention away from any other occupants on the tabletop.

And Brezza is also offering special New Year’s Eve menus—a $95 prix fixe menu and a $350 truffle menu; wine pairings available. You won’t want to miss out!

OMEGA MART seems like any other grocery store at first. The shelves of the anchor tenant of off-Strip complex of curiosities AREA15 are fully stocked with purchasable products, the employees are friendly and helpful, the space is well-lit and clean.

Inside, everything seems a little off. The produce section offers Aspirational Carrots available by 10-year subscription and absurdly priced Infinity Melons. Slimeapples and Happles offer tactile experiences but are likely deficient in contributing to recommended daily allowances of vitamin D and antioxidants.

Packaged products have unusual names such as Plausible Deniability laundry detergent and Symbiotic Shrimp sports beverage. People enter a small camping tent in a “Re-creation” section and don’t seem to come back out. Blink after seeing someone open a

door in the refrigerated section and in the next instance are gone. Disappeared.

A stairwell in a corner leads up to an employee “Micro-Breakroom” that feels a little more normal. The employees know what to do, according to the posted Omega Oath. They follow pre-approved service procedures to the point that they work together like the wheels of a shopping cart.

The room is empty though, until an adult-sized human emerges from a locker and steps into the room, followed by another. The locker seems too small to fit one adult-adult-sized human, let alone two.

That’s because it’s not a locker, as a closer inspection reveals. It’s a portal, one of some half-dozen throughout Omega Mart, into an alternate universe where the futuristic visions and surreal dreams of art collective Meow Wolf

The corporate office in the backroom dimension of Omega Mart is available for inspection, though, and is a good place to begin unraveling the mystery.

As Cecelia Dram instructs via video memo: “Until you’re completed your Omega Mart and Factory training, I have no work for you here, but feel free to look around and be inspired by all that Source has allowed us to build together…” Abandoned desk spaces, computers and landline telephones connected to the corporate directory reveal the true intentions of Dramcorp. Anyone is welcome to sit at the desk of Vice President of Futurability Kazuhiro Matsumara and vicariously experience the power and influence that comes from sitting at a desk.

The complexity of the conspiracy, and what “Source” is exactly, can be more easily comprehended with training-level access that requires the purchase of a Boop Card, available for $3 purchase at the Omega Mart’s customer service desk. Boop stations are distributed throughout Omega Mart and there are more spaces dedicated to the Drams, but Cecelia’s word salad corporate-speak should be experienced before leaving the office.

There are three ways to explore the bi-level labyrinth-like surreality of Meow Wolf’s cavalcade of art installations and interactive consoles: clockwise, counter-clockwise and randomly. Hug the wall in one direction and explore until arriving at the starting place, or just walk directionlessly and be intrepid. There are infinity exhibits created with innovative uses of light technology. Push-button contraptions

enable novices to collectively create and mix electronic music together. Hallway doors open to enchanting environments and rooms designed for momentary immersion and escape.

All paths lead to The Projected Desert of Seven Monolith Village, a cavernous space where kinetic images are shown on the walls and can be appreciated as background or absorbed as concept. While it’s easy to forget that concepts presented in tandem on as large a scale as Omega Mart come from the imaginations of human

beings, installations by artists such as Claudia Bueno are reminders that collectives are made of individuals. One of her contributions, “Pulse,” breathes and shimmers like the landscapes and indigenous microorganisms of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks that inspired its 60 panels of three-dimensional, animated silhouettes and patterns.

In a video artist’s statement, Bueno says the creative sparks of “Pulse” eventually “came together as this world that connects everything,”

but she may as well be talking about Omega Mart and Meow Wolf: “This world where everything is intertwined. They’re one. There’s a sense of integration. Everything’s linked. One thing needs the other and they’re all pulsating, throbbing and living all together.”

Meow Wolf came together as a nine-member collective of Santa Fe artists in the wake of the Millennium, when creative arts of all kinds were given a blank slate but the industries that controlled them seemed more inaccessible than ever. The Meow Wolves took do-it-yourself aesthetics to new levels with immersive art exhibits, eventually creating a headquarters

in an abandoned bowling alley. Their endeavors caught on, especially The House of Eternal Return A precursor to Omega Mart, it was an “intergalactic interdimensional travel agency” run by the effervescent, supernatural Selig family. One element was a refrigerator that opened to a hidden world where the artists’ wild imaginations roamed free.

Omega Mart is the next step beyond an avant-garde travel agency, a grocery store where there are multiple hidden portals to a fantastic fantasy world. This world has a speakeasy, Datamosh, where the atmosphere is relaxed and vodka-based Happle Juice is plentiful

AREA15

3215 S. Rancho Drive, meowwolf/visit/las-vegas.com

and delicious. Datamosh is open daily but in November, Omega Mart began hosting monthly “Night Shift” events for adults who like a libation break when shopping for strange and unusual consumer products.

“I drink, therefore I Dram,” is an appropriate toast to cap off a visit to Omega Mart. There is so much to explore it’s impossible to see it all in one adventure. A two-visit plan, one without a Boop Card followed by one with, is the best approach. It’s also prudent to set aside a budget for purchasing items such as Blue Chunks at $12.99 per pound or a Gummy Pickle. Join the Dram family, in a consumer sense.

Iconic headliner Penn Jillette makes magic with new book

PENN JILLETTE’s newest book, Random, chronicles the adventures of 21-year-old Bobby Ingersol, a Las Vegas local who lives life by roll of the dice. Ahead of his upcoming performances with Michael Carbonaro at Rio, Las Vegas Magazine caught up with Jillette to chat about the novel.

WERE ANY OF THE CHOICES FOR THIS BOOK RANDOM?

I rolled the dice for the numbers and then reverse-engineered it. I find getting one good idea difficult. Having a bunch of them and (choosing one,) I’m afraid that one of them will always have been much better in that situation. One of the reasons I’m so enthralled by the character in that book is because he’s so different from me. I’m an incredible (stickler) … I’m so not spontaneous, so the idea of random appeals to me.

HOW DO YOU BALANCE TELLING THE STORY OF A YOUNG, IMPULSIVE PROTAGONIST BEING TOLD BY A MORE WELLREASONED NARRATOR?

I seem to not have a choice. No matter how much I try to write as another character, it always seems like me. I didn’t struggle to find my voice as an author, I just don’t have any other … Somebody my age has so many responsibilities that living a dice life would make the character, I think, less sympathetic, but having the character be young and not have responsibilities, I can allow him to do one very big charitable act … and once I’ve done that, I believe the audience can then say, “He’s OK.” It’s really important to me that the protagonist be likable and within my morality. I know that’s unfashionable … But I get so sick of rooting for people that are not good people.

THE BELL CURVE OF DICE OUTCOMES PROVIDES A BIT OF STRUCTURE TO THE BOOK AS YOU REPEAT IT

FREQUENTLY. WHY PLACE SO MUCH EMPHASIS ON MATHEMATICS?

Because it’s so deep to the idea. Marvin Minsky at MIT wrote a book called The Society of Mind, and he talks about how there’s a voting system inside our heads where we decide what we want to do the most. And I’m fascinated by the idea of right before you make that decision, laying out the percentages of how much you want to do (each option) … So, I’m trying to drill into my own head how that bell curve constantly plays out and how that metaphorically that 2 and 12 (the two numbers with the least likelihood of being rolled) are always lingering there as real parts of us that never get expressed.

SO THE DICE ROLL ALLOWS THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO SOMETHING NEW?

Right, it’s the power of the loser … The idea that second, third and fourth place in intellectual ideas can be (interesting but never chosen). A fascinating example is the two founders of Google. (Google creators Sergey Brin and Larry Page disagreed on whether the site should have ads or not. The discord ended in favor of displaying ads.) But the loser had so much influence and was so repulsed by the idea of ads that the tasteful ads of Google… were the compromise the loser forced. What made Google incredibly successful was the point of view of the loser. That story of how important the losers are in decision making runs all through the book.

IF READERS TAKE ONE THING AWAY FROM YOUR BOOK, WHAT DO YOU WANT IT TO BE?

I would say, everybody is living exactly Bobby’s life and the world is random. And in a random world, we’re all looking for kindness and love.

Old bus station provides new canvas for artist collaboration at Plaza

Setting changes everything. Truly, the space around us often informs the way we perceive the input we’ve encountered, whether it be sights, sounds, smells or sensations.

Placing emphasis on setting, the Bortolami Gallery’s Artist / City

initiative explores the spaces outside its New York gallery to bring stimulating artworks to unlikely locations. The latest iteration, “Koichi Sato, Susumu Kamijo, Jonas Wood / Las Vegas,” filled the inoperative Greyhound bus station at Plaza in November, offering uniquely

Las Vegas-inspired paintings that play with their surroundings.

Created in collaboration, the work displayed in this unusual gallery explores the artists’ perceptions of Las Vegas but with great care taken to consider location. According to the galley’s website, “The exhibition allows for a recontextualization of each artist’s paintings, removed from the major art centers in which they work, within a space previously animated and defined

by its use. As a former bus station, the exhibition venue can be understood as a crossroads—a center of exchange.”

Depicting lively characters with bright grins, Japanese artist Koichi

Sato explores the myriad people who pass through the transportation hub while simultaneously o ering his own perception of the city. With vibrant colors and detailed patterns, Sato’s work

conjures classic Vegas energy with a sense of fun-loving humor.

Starkly contrasting Sato’s work, Japanese artist Susumu Kamijo’s images take a more abstracted approach, featuring the artist’s signature poodle portraits. Using large fields of color, scratchy graphite lines and negative space, Kamijo’s designs are an interesting counterpoint to Sato’s artworks.

American artist Jonas Wood adds Japanese garden landscapes to the gallery, with specific consideration given to space. The texture found within Wood’s landscapes plays with the nearly chaotic nature of Sato’s works while also providing a sense of serenity in the collection. Also utilizing negative space, Wood’s work balances the arrangement.

While these paintings could easily take home in fine art galleries across the globe, they so clearly belong in the old bus station. Wood, Kamijo and Sato appropriately treated the bus depot as a place of convergence, and in doing so created art that interacts with the space and with each other’s work.

The free exhibition is open through March 4.

The Best Life

The Waldorf Astoria brand is associated with only the very best of everything. It’s an international sensation, including the one here on the Las Vegas Strip. And several luxury and penthouse units have recently become available, including one for sale that has a serious “wow!” factor.

The 2,756-square-foot penthouse, listed by Frank Napoli, CEO of the Napoli Group (and a resident of the tower), is located on the 43rd floor, so you can be assured of spectacular views no matter where you stand or sit. It features two bedrooms and three bathrooms total, and it’s just stunning. As you walk through,

you’ll be struck by every detail, from the hardwood and marble flooring to the large windows spanning the length of the residence.

There’s plenty of space between the two primary suites (which also have multiple access points) guaranteeing your privacy. You’ll be spending plenty of time in the

spacious great room, enjoying your views of the north Strip city lights and the mountains, and the kitchen is a fantastic focal point for parties and get-togethers with its breakfast bar/counter and island. There’s also a large den space, perfect for an office, third bedroom, gym, theater, studio … just let your imagination run wild.

There are plenty of appealing upgrades throughout as well, from custom cabinets, marble and stone countertops, stainless steel appliances, a built-in electric oven and

electric cooktop, refrigerator and wine refrigerator.

And, of course, you’ll enjoy a bunch of great amenities as a resident—room service, housekeeping and concierge services, a private lobby, secluded elevator and valet, for starters. Add in a gym, full-service salon and spa and a pool equipped with cocktail servers and cabana rentals and you may never want to leave!

“As a resident of the tower, I know the lifestyle, location and the standard it sets for luxury living

cannot be duplicated,” said Napoli. “The Waldorf Astoria is the only high-rise tower in Las Vegas that has a separate fully functioning hotel operation, allowing residents direct access to hotel amenities daily.”

In addition, you’re centrally located to entertainment venues around the area like T-Mobile Arena and Allegiant Stadium. –Ken Miller
