When faced with a tough business decision, I … consult with team members in the office and test my decision on trusted peers outside of the company. I try to never rush a decision and have matured over the years to not be reactive. A guiding philosophy he leads by: Life is all about how you bounce. You will have many successes in life, but it is how you bounce from adversity that shows real success. A distinguishing moment as CEO so far: Watching our development projects evolve and grow larger in size and complexity. The most powerful tool in a CEO’s arsenal: Empowerment. A business executive he admires: My father, Gary Holloway Sr., founder of GMH Communities. He built a great reputation within the real estate community and opened many doors for me. He is incredible at business development and has an ability to connect with people. He has given me room to grow while providing me with great oversight and guidance when needed. Above all he treated our employees and our business like a family and this is something I have really tried to continue. Something he does for fun: During the pandemic my wife and I purchased a boat, and we are hooked on boating as a family.
