''Me Myself and I''
This collection features the essence of style, passion, freedom, and elegance revealed through subtly lowing and nonrestrictive designs. Relects emotions, displaying their nuances from beginning to end, accepting and letting go. I was inspired by the feeling of liberty and authenticity, and I wanted to exhibit the importance of these emotions. The designs relect the woman who finds herself and likes being who she really is. They are a sort of definition and transformation.

During his time in Hong Kong, he finally decided to pursue a future as an artist. he began exploring his creative side with painting and designing women's clothing.
His modeling career didn't take of in the “Big City” as it had elsewhere, which brings his journey to Knoxville. Arriving in Knoxville almost 6 years ago, he began working with friends who own Casa Don Gallo.
He designed his first collection, titled One World, in the fall of 2014. His 2016 collection, Me Myself & I, featured 12 garments and attracted the eye of talent scouts who recruited him to feature his next collection, Hello, New York! at last years Fashion Week.
His artistic abilities to design unique clothing styles. As a fashion designer, he works to create contemporary and elegant styles for all seasons and occasions. Like his artwork, each of his clothing styles is designed to express emotion and creativity. They also provide a refined and comfortable look to anyone who wishes to wear them. For so long, I struggled to see myself as beautiful and to know my true worth. I had issues figuring out who I was in this world and what my purpose should be. Through his patience, encouragement, and love, it was my husband who helped me to discover all this beauty that had been hiding behind the stress.
Photography soon became one of the many expressions by which I sought out beauty--I found it and called it my own. One of my favorite parts of this unique creative process has been capturing the extravagant beauty of both women and men who have felt ordinary, average, and un-photogenic. It is so life-giving to watch them "find their beautiful," just like I found mine.

t doesn’t seem possible that a year can pass so quickly. Re ecting back it feels that time stood still. Each time we comprise another publication I cannot help but to think of my brother. He was a fabulous artist and even better man. Winning the ght over cancer, most would use the term losing, he is now home in the presence of the Lord. I feel blessed to have the time with him, especially his eye and passion for art, and how it pushes me to better myself each day. He had a true gi not only as an artist but his display of love for everyone through Jesus Christ. May I nish as well as he! _

Be Bold!
5 tips to make sure your accent color is on the right wall
Accent walls- some of us love ‘em for the chance to add that bold color we adore so much but know would be too much on all four walls. Others just want to run the minute they spot an obviously contrived accent wall.
Yet regardless of our stance, an accent wall can be a powerful addition to a room- in some cases a very necessary addition. So, how do you know that you’re about to paint or wallpaper the RIGHT wall?
1 Affix the focal point
What’s the best looking feature in the room - a lowly old fireplace full of character, a huge and expensive sofa, a pair of pretty French windows with a magnificent view? All of these scenarios would warrant an accent wall. That’s because it’s the part of the room you want to show off or put the spotlight on.
2 Engage with your entrance
As you walk through the door, which is the wall that draws your eye? Is it the one with the fireplace? Or are you more drawn to to the view? In the majority of cases it will be the wall that faces you as soon as you first enter the room. This is also a handy way to make your decision in the absence of any striking furniture in the room.
3 Room with a view
Once you’ve chosen your walland colour/wallpaper, it might be worth considering where, from inside your home, you can see this accent wall. That’s because you could incorporate a little of the same colour into those rooms as well (in the form of accessories- cushions, lamps, vases, etc.). This has the effect of making the space between appear to blend as your eye flows from room to room. Another good point to keep in mind is that when you get a peek of the colour before you enter the room, it actually draws you into it, making it feel more inviting.
4 Get smart with space
Even if there’s an obvious wall to accent in the room, it’s not advisable to just go ahead and paint it. That’s because the size of the wall should also be considered. It might just be a bit too long for such a bold color for instance, or perhaps it is a little too tall? In the latter case molding or dropping the ceiling color down onto the wall would certainly help to make the wall appear smaller.
5 Double check your decision
You’ll know you have the right wall for your accent when you’re able to give yourself at least two good reasons why you’ve chosen it. Revisit the tips above. If you can’t do this then stop and reconsider before putting a wet paintbrush anywhere near it!

Kids & Teens Shine on the Knoxville Fashion Week Runway
By Sarah MerrellFamous models like Kate Moss, Tyra Banks, Cara Delevigne all started somewhere. Supermodel Bar Regaeli started modeling as a baby at eightmonths-old and Gisele Bundchen began modeling as a teenage at age 14.
Starting early can certainly help models get a head start in the industry as many of the models hitting the European and New York runways are in their teens.
At Gage Models & Talent
Agency, the team finds that cultivating young models not only prepares them for careers on the runway, but also develops important skills like self-confidence, self-efficacy and professionalism. The agency signs and books models from babies, to toddlers, to kids, to pre-teens and teens and older.
fine-tune their skills and have fun on the runway—and Knoxville Fashion Week as a great way for young models to gain real-world experience.
While Knoxville Fashion Week is a fun experience for young models, it also provides them with valuable experience they can put on their modeling resumes, photos for their portfolios and networking opportunities. It’s a chance for models and their parents to meet designers, photographers and industry professionals who can boost their careers.
“Knoxville Fashion Week is the first time many of our Gage kids walk an actual runway with an audience, lights and music,” said Hemsley. “I love their excitement, and seeing their faces as they use all the skills they’ve learned. Their enthusiasm and smiles are part of what makes Knoxville Fashion Week such a special event.”

Hemsley finds significant satisfaction in seeing these young runway models
Cultivating emerging young models is so important that Hemsley, who also serves as the founder and director of Knoxville Fashion Week, has an entire runway show in their honor. The Wednesday, March 28 runway show at Relix has a focus on kids and teen models. Also, the Grand Finale event on Saturday, March 31 at Jackson Terminal has a children’s runway show. OPERATION GET ABOUT See the paci c northwest
by Beth Patton Full story on my blog @ patton4.comOPERATION GET ABOUT is a ten-day adventure with the goal to explore without an agenda or schedule, to see the land and the diverse natural beauty of our country. The only rules are first, no franchise restaurants - only locally owned establishments and second, avoid the interstate at all cost.
Our lives have been so busy and structured for the past 40 years. My husband Tony, and I are both self-employed, our children grown and out of the house. It hit us that we can do our jobs from anywhere in the world, as long as we have an Internet connection and a cell phone signal.
Our first adventure was in the fall of 2015. I packed my portable office, and we hit the road heading north to Arlington, VT where Tony fished in the Battenkill river (a bucket list thing). We explored Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island and ended up in Kent, Connecticut. It was an incredible, enlightening, awe-inspiring adventure.
Our second Operation Get About adventure was in the spring of 2017. We flew to Portland, Oregon with the ultimate goal of heading west to Highway 101. Our first night we stayed in downtown Portland, which reminded me of New York, but cleaner and less crowded. We conferred with the locals on the must-sees of the area, and the consensus was Multnomah Falls and Mount Hood. We stumbled upon those (thank God for Google maps), and several other water falls and impressive mountain ranges but it was the landscapes and vegetation that were mesmerizing even mystical. There was bright green moss on everything that wasn’t moving, and a mist in the air.
Our first purchase of the trip were jackets at the Multnomah Falls Gift Shop. It was in the mid-seventies when we left Knoxville, so we did not pack well for the Pacific Northwest.
From Portland, we headed to the 101 toward Seaside Beach where we ate fresh fish at a quaint little diner and then headed north to Astoria. We landed at the lovely Cannery Pier Hotel on the Columbia River.
One of my primary jobs on this trip, other than the navigator, was to secure places to sleep once we decided where to light. I depended greatly on the reviews from other travelers - so, for those of you that take the time to fill out those surveys - THANK YOU!
Astoria is a small town and has a rich and fascinating history including the filming of the movies “Goonies,” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III,” “Free Willie,” and “Kindergarten Cop.” There is a museum downtown that shows the Astoria set movies free of charge.
As you enter Astoria, the 4.1-mile Hwy 101 (Astoria - Megler) bridge is an intimidating, larger than life presence. It spans over the Columbia River to Washington State, and we had to cross it because - well it was there!
The next day we head south on the 101. The Pacific Coast was spellbinding. The rock formations jutting up sporadically in the water looked like something out of a middle earth movie set.
One spontaneous decision lead to the Sea Lion Caves right past Cape Perpetua. Descending 208 feet at 250 feet per minute to the viewing area was an experience but seeing hundreds of Sea Lions socializing in this cave was terrific.
The Humboldt County Guide we picked up at the Inn boasted of 101 things to do, so we grabbed a map and set out. Surrounded by massive Redwoods, we traveled down the Avenue of the Gods. You could reach out of the car window and touch them.
This stand of Redwoods had been through fires and severe storms. No two trees were alike, and each told their stories of survival among the elements and the stupidity of man. There were not enough words in the Thesaurus to explain how extraordinary this experience was.
Next stop, Napa Valley. The detour, due to the rock slide on 101, took us east on highway 36 over some challenging mountain ranges.
Finally, after 3 hours of hairpin turns on a barely two lane road, the highway widens and eases. Thanks to my fantastic travel buddy and husband, who drove every mile of this entire trip, we make it to our bed and breakfast in Napa Valley. After a wine tasting a Girad, we head to San Francisco for the journey home. No worries. We’ll be back.
We visited several other sites and communities along the way down the 101. For the complete story see the Operation Get About Blogs at patton4.com

DRIVER ASSURANCE
8
factors that can affect auto insurance premiums
Auto insurance is a necessity for drivers in many localities. But while local laws may mandate drivers have insurance, no such laws mandate how much drivers must pay to insure their vehicles. Certain factors can influence just how much drivers will pay for their auto insurance policies.
01
Complacency: Complacency:
Doing nothing at all may find you spending too much on auto insurance. Many drivers fail to routinely shop around for coverage, and that can be costing them money. In its online Insurance Shopping Study, the research firm J.D. Power found that only 23 percent of auto insurance customers shopped their policies in the past 12 months. Shopping around for a better rate can save drivers considerable amounts of money, and the Internet has made comparison shopping easier than ever before.
02
Coverage and deductibles:
The type of coverage you choose, as well as the amount of your deductible, will affect the cost of your policy. Choosing a higher deductible (the amount you pay out of pocket before insurance will start to pay) usually leads to a lower monthly payment. Full coverage may not be necessary if you own your car or the car is old and not worth that much.
03
Location:
Where you live can affect the cost of your insurance premiums. Since most traffic accidents occur close to home, the area where you live factors heavily in the cost of your policy. Densely populated neighborhoods with more cars mean you could be at a higher risk of accident, theft and injury. Plus, costs for repairs may be higher in these areas. Moving to a less populated area can reduce insurance costs.
04
Age/gender:
A person cannot change his or her age, but it’s wise to realize that age and gender can affect costs. Young men typically incur higher rates than young women. Understanding your potential insurance costs can help you when choosing a vehicle.
05Vehicle type:
Vehicle type:
According to State Farm, some insurance companies increase premiums for cars deemed more likely to be damaged or stolen. A vehicle that scores high in independent safety ratings may be cheaper to insure than vehicles that scored low on safety tests.
06Credit score:
Credit score:
Raise your credit score and you may be able to lower your car insurance costs. According to the research firm Conning & Co., roughly 92 percent of insurers use your credit information as a factor to determine rates. Studies show that people with bad credit tend to file more and higher claims.
07Marital status:
Marital status:
Statistics show that people who have tied the knot are involved in fewer accidents and given fewer tickets than people who are single. Getting married can reduce insurance premiums, as can combining or bundling policies with your spouse.
08Driving history:
Driving history:
A driving history full of accidents and tickets can affect your insurance rates. However, many tickets and accidents that do not involve injuries stop affecting insurance rates after three years. Driving safely and biding your time until your tickets and accidents no longer influence your rates can save you money.
Drivers have control over how much they spend on auto insurance. Safe driving habits, the right choice of vehicle and where drivers choose to live can influence the cost of their auto insurance policies.
