BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Master of Business Administration (MBA) The MBA degree is designed for working professionals seeking a competitive advantage in the business world. Cameron’s ACBSP accredited MBA is a 33-hour program providing students with the expertise and skills required to successfully serve as leaders in business. Goals of the Cameron MBA Program 1. Provide graduates with foundational theory, principles, and knowledge at an advanced level for effective management of modern businesses and organizations; 2. Provide graduates with critical business skills and competencies needed for effective management of modern businesses and organizations; 3. Provide graduates with an understanding of the process of integrating and applying core competencies and skills in business or business-related environments and/or situations. Note: Students with a non-business undergraduate major may be required to take leveling modules to meet prerequisite requirements.
MBA Admission Requirements • An undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 credit hours of undergraduate coursework, OR • A minimum score on the GMAT of 500 or a comparable converted score on the GRE, OR • Have one of the following: • minimum composite score of 3200 using the formula: Score=GMAT + (undergraduate GPA x 1000), OR • minimum composite score of 3200 using the formula: Score=GMAT + (undergraduate GPA x 1000 on the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework OR • minimum GPA of 3.0 on at least 12 credit hours of graduate coursework completed at another institution or in a different graduate degree program at CU, or in a combination of the two.

ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP
Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) The interdisciplinary framework of the MSOL degree is designed for professionals in business, government, and nonprofits to move into positions of increased responsibility as well as individuals who wish to become leaders in military, governmental, entrepreneurial, and corporate ventures. Career choices include organizational development, knowledge management, human resource management, information technology, business process design, organizational change management, and project management. The MSOL is an online program. The program objectives are to provide common bodies of knowledge at an advanced level regarding the following: • Organizational behavior • Leadership and knowledge management • Training, development, and human resource issues within organizations • Strategic knowledge and change management • Synthesis and communication of information gleaned from data sets for decision-making purposes • Global policies and strategies Before receiving the degree, students are required to complete ORGL 5893 Master’s Project and Research Paper. MSOL Admission Requirements • An undergraduate GPA of 3.0, or a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 credit hours of undergraduate coursework, OR • A minimum score on the GMAT of 450 or a comparable converted score on the GRE, OR • One of the following: • minimum composite score of 3200 using the formula: Score=GMAT + (undergraduate GPA x 1000), OR • minimum composite score of 3200 using the formula: Score=GMAT + (undergraduate GPA x 1000 on the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework OR • minimum GPA of 3.0 on at least 12 credit hours of graduate hours completed at another institution or in a different graduate degree program at CU, or in a combination of the two.

BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES
Master of Science in Behavioral Sciences The Master of Science in Behavioral Sciences (MSBS) degree is designed for individuals who seek careers in the broad spectrum of behavioral science professions. Three tracks allow students to select the course of study to best suit their needs: Counseling The MSBS Counseling track is designed to meet the needs of students who wish to pursue licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). The goals of this track are to meet the academic requirements for the LPC in the state of Oklahoma and to prepare students to perform well on the state and national licensure exams. In addition to the 21 core credit hours, MSBS Counseling students will complete an additional 27 credit hours required for the degree, plus 12 hours to meet state licensure requirements. Marriage and Family The MSBS Marriage and Family track is designed to meet the needs of students who wish to pursue licensure in marriage and family therapy. The goals are to meet the academic requirements for the Licensed Marital and Family Therapist in Oklahoma and to prepare students to perform well on the state and national licensure exams. In addition to the 21 core credit hours, MSBS Marriage and Family students will complete an additional 27 credit hours required for the degree. General Psychology The MSBS General Psychology track is designed to meet the needs of students who do not wish to pursue a career in counseling. Students who want to increase their understanding of human behavior, those interested in experimental psychology, and students who wish to pursue a Ph.D. in experimental psychology should choose this track. In addition to the 21 core credit hours, this track requires an additional 12 credit hours. Psychology Graduate Admission Requirements There are no additional requirements for the Master of Science in Behavioral Sciences.

PSYCHOLOGY CLINIC The Department of Psychology and the School of Graduate and Professional Studies at Cameron University opened the Cameron Psychology Clinic (CPC) in 2016. This totally free clinic fulfills two missions: It provides graduate students hands-on training under the supervision of experienced, licensed faculty members, and the clinic provides free access to mental health services to members of the community who may not otherwise have access to care.

EDUCATION IN EDUCATION
Master of Education in Education The Master of Education in Education program serves teachers and other educators who desire to grow as professionals and improve their teaching by obtaining advanced knowledge of pedagogy and classroom practices; who aspire to deepen student learning; and who seek to transform schools and increase educational equity. The program coursework is based on the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. A flexible schedule and hybrid format allows students to earn their degree in two years or less, even if they continue to teach full-time.
M.ED. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS • Be admitted to graduate studies at Cameron University • Have a valid teaching certificate or have passed the Oklahoma General Education Test (OGET) and an Oklahoma Subject Area Test (OSAT)* • Have two acceptable recommendation forms submitted on the applicant’s behalf. • Have a 3.0 or better GPA** *Students may be conditionally admitted and begin coursework (up to 12 hours) without having a teaching certificate or having passed the 2 required exams. A teaching certificate is required within the first 12 hours for those pursuing the Special Education concentration. **Applicants may be conditionally admitted with an undergraduate GPA lower than a 3.0 but must maintain a 3.0 at the graduate level.

Master of
EDUCATION IN READING Master of Education in Reading The Master of Education in Reading provides students with the preparation necessary to serve as reading specialists in the public schools of Oklahoma. This program provides pedagogy in the teaching of reading and specialized knowledge for working with children who find reading difficult. It will also prepare reading specialists to review and develop reading curricula for the schools in which they teach. All Master of Education in Reading students must possess a qualifying teaching certificate to take more than 12 hours toward the degree. Candidates for this program must also have completed basic reading/literature classes or equivalent coursework prior to beginning the course sequence. The Master of Education in Reading program is designed to accommodate working teaching professionals. Courses are offered online. M.ED. Master of Science in Educational Leadership The Master of Science in Educational Leadership program is a comprehensive program designed to prepare experienced educators to take on prominent leadership roles in P–12 school systems. Students must complete one year of teaching in an accredited classroom prior to program admission. Cameron's program offers a progressive educational experience, which combines classroom instruction and research with field-based learning experiences. The program will prepare students to be strong educational leaders and increase their capacity to cultivate leadership in others. Students will join a diverse cohort of peers and learn from scholars and active and veteran school administrators as they explore what it means to be a leader in the field.
