Paraprofessional Route
0 Bachelor’s Degree with a 2.5
0 1 year’s experience as a paraprofessional in a public school
0 Receive Certificate and Begin Teaching
0 Within 3 years, complete 12 hours (must include 3 hours in reading instruction)
TESTING: OSAT prior to certification; 3 years to pass PPAT
M.Ed. with Literacy Concentration Recommended
