CIRCUIT/INTERVAL TRAINING: Challenging, fun and safe! You will never get bored with this class. TABATA: Tabata training is one movement at absolute maximum intensity for 20 seconds, take a 10-second rest, and then begin again. The same movement is done for eight rounds before going to another movement. Part of what makes Tabata so difficult is performing four minutes of the same movement at kill-yourself intensity. If you’re not absolutely toast after those four minutes, you didn’t go hard enough. JILLIAN MICHAELS BODYSHRED™ is a high intensity and endurance based 30 minute workout utilizing Jillian’s 3-2-1- interval approach: 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of abs.

Saturday 8:30 am Ultimate Fusion

*Yogafit will be at 9:00 am through August 27. (Class schedule may change depending on attendance.) Child care is available in the Child Care Room by appointment only. Walk-In fees are $5 Resident and $7 Non-Resident. ULTIMATE FUSION: This is an all-levels class which is sure to please. Combining the best of various exercise methods, this class will keep your muscles “confused” and your cardio system challenged. EXTREME LOWER EXTREMITIES: Train and tighten all regions of the lower body and core in this toning class. Workout focuses on abs, glutes and legs with various equipment and body weights. YOGAFIT: Yogafit combines traditional yoga postures with modern fitness moves. The result is an incredible body/mind workout, excellent for those who are looking for better body tone and definition combined with stress reduction and total relaxation. Our instructors are Yogafit trained. Sticky mats are available. CARDIO/STRENGTH: This workout will help improve your cardiovascular health and increase your musculoskeletal fitness. TOTAL BODY BLAST: Get ready for a great combination of cardio conditioning, core and endurance training using stability balls, tubing, body bars, medicine balls, dumbbells and more.

Often times a question arises as to who is a resident of the Park District. A resident must live within the boundaries of Zion Park District. It’s sometimes easy to confuse residency with a Zion mailing address. Many people in the area surrounding Zion have a five-digit Zion mailing address. These five-digit addresses are located in the county and are not within the boundaries of Zion Park District. A tax bill, voter registration card, or vehicle sticker receipt will help to establish your residency. The park district staff will be glad to answer any questions you may have regarding these fees.
