WELCOME BOBCAT FANS
TO THE 2020 FOOTBALL SEASON>>> The 20-21 Bobcat Football season is upon us and while there may be many questions regarding the launch of the new school year, one thing is for certain…Bobcat Football provides an excellent way to show our community that our student athletes are ready for any challenge. Whether it is beginning the year in a remote format or attending classes after an extended break, football provides a terrific venue to demonstrate hard work and student effort. As student ambassadors for Bobcat Nation, our coaches expect our student-athletes to reflect the characteristics of our motto to learn, serve and lead. So, with these thoughts in mind, Bobcat Football…we know you will lead in district play, learn new ways to overcome challenges and serve with a spirit of compassion through sport.

A MESSAGE FROM THE>>>
DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS DEAR BOBCAT FANS, Welcome to the 2020 football season, a season that promises to be unlike any season we’ve seen in our lifetime. We are prepared to face the challenges of this season head-on and our programs are anxious to represent their community through interscholastic competition. There is no better way to witness the strength of our school community and the best that our district has to offer than to come together to celebrate the hard work of our students and athletes. Many people have worked hard to make this season special- from our band, cheerleaders, drill team and boosters to our custodians, bus drivers, and officials. We thank all these groups for their hard work and commitment in preparing for a successful season. As UIL marks its 100-year anniversary, there is no doubt that tonight’s competition is a chance to positively carry out the vision of UIL and our district. So, let’s unite and cheer on the Bobcats!
GO BOBCATS!

HEAD COACH >>A MESSAGE FROM THE FOOTBALL
BOBCAT FANS,
Welcome to the game tonight! High School football is a huge event in the state of Texas and no more evident than here at Byron Nelson and I am thrilled to be a part of this team! Our players and coaches have worked extremely hard to prepare themselves for the 2019 Football Season, and we hope you enjoy tonight’s game! The great thing about high school football is that there is so much more than just the game going on. Both teams will bring their bands and cheerleaders, as well as many other groups that will be involved in a variety of activities. Of course, there will also be a huge portion of the student body from both schools cheering on their team. All of the young people who are involved in tonight’s competition should be commended. There is nothing greater than being a part of a team, and I consider us all (athletes, band members, cheerleaders, student body, parents, and community) a part of the TEAM here at Byron Nelson. The Northwest I.S.D. excels in its leadership abilities towards its students. Our administrative staff has created an environment that is second-to-none for all of those involved. The faculty and support staffs work extremely hard for all kids. They are demanding of what they expect from our students, and at the same time, they are passionate and caring about all of them, which makes Northwest I.S.D. a special place. Thanks again to all of you for coming out tonight. It is an honor for me to be the head football coach for Byron Nelson High School. There is no greater reward than being able to teach our kids character, integrity, sportsmanship, and perseverance through this great game. I appreciate all of the support each of you give to our program. GO BOBCATS!
