WELCOME KNIGHTS FANS
TO THE 2021 FOOTBALL SEASON>>> WOW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES. The 2019 Knights football team finished the season with a 9-0 undefeated regular season and a deep run into the playoffs that saw 2 victories along the way. That team made scoring points look easy and not to be outdone by the offense, they had a defense that flew to the ball. They were a lot of fun to watch. Now, fast forward to a “different” 2021 season. Covid has changed a lot in our society and High School sports did not get spared. However, I am grateful that we will have a season for our athletes, even if it does look a little different. Try to remember that different is not always bad. I look forward to seeing the athletes work extremely hard to reach their goals and to watch their improvement day in and day out. I’ll be watching closely to see how they handle adversity and look forward to seeing them grow into young adults. I have no idea what this season will bring but I can assure you that there will be a team full of Knights that will work hard every day and simply enjoy the moment. Finally, I’d like to thank all the parents/ guardians for their support throughout this difficult school year. In the end, it is for the kids and they will finally get to shine on the fields.
HERE’S TO A SUCCESSFUL 2021 FOOTBALL SEASON.

HEAD COACH >>A MESSAGE FROM THE FOOTBALL
Coming into this unprecedented shortened season due to Covid-19, our student athletes have dealt with a lot of anxiety due to not being able to go to school and play sports. We know how important it is for kids to have these things in their lives. For some, this is all they have. Not only our football program, but all the programs here at Parkville are resilient, dedicated and hard working, and there is no doubt in my mind that we will overcome this. We will pull together, stronger than ever, and push through like only Parkville Knights do. With that being said, it is still our mission at Parkville High School is to develop student athletes to their highest potential, to graduate champions of the classroom, on the field and in life. Our goal is to win football games in an atmosphere that is fun, that embraces diversity, and develops confidence and self-esteem with a feeling of contribution within each player. My hope is to provide every player a feeling of importance and a unified purpose, encourage open and honest communication between staff and players and concentrate on solutions rather than problems. As a coach, I have a high regard for the dignity and faith of each person in our football program and instill commitment to team unity, and strong leadership. Above all else, our studentathletes will be people of character that contribute in a positive way in our school as well as our community. It is important our student athletes understand their role as an integral part of Parkville High School and the Parkville community, and to become great men of our future. We have several returning players and I am excited to venture into this season with high expectations. With a tough schedule and all but four games on the road,we have our work cut out for us. I am proud of the work my players have put in this off season, but we still have much room for improvement. I would like to thank the parents, my coaches and the players in believing in the process and supporting me and the Parkville football program. Good Luck to all the Fall athletic teams at Parkville and have a healthy and successful shortened season.

ALMA MATER Beloved Alma Mater, your sons and daughters raise This song in loyal chorus as an anthem of praise; We’ll hold aloft thy virtues of honor, truth and right, And wheresoe’re our paths shall lead, we’ll follow wisdom’s light. Though time shall pass between us as grains of drifting sand, Our hearts will be united in the glow of friendship’ band, So we shall e’re remember our Alma Mater true, As spirits and traditions turn our thoughts to you. Our day of graduation inspires within this throng An overtone of sadness as we hail it with a song; When we hear others singing your praises far and wide, Our eyes will shine with gladness and our hearts will swell with pride.
