Diamond Head Morning Hike - Oahu
Farm Tour, Wine Tasting & Lunch - Maui
Big Kahuna Luau VIP - Oahu
Embark on a scenic private hike at Hawaii’s most recongnized land mark, Mount Leahi, more commonly known as Diamon Head. Diamond Head, an extinct volcanic crater, is known for its historic hiking trail, stunning coastal views, and military history. Diamond Head State Monument encompasses over 475 acres, including the interior and outer slopes of the crater with an unforgetable view of Waikiki and the Pacific Ocean. A hike up the crater provides a spectacular 360-degree view of the island, while working up the appetite for breakfast at a local eatery.
You’re invited to see where it all starts. Experience the state’s very first restaurant to own and operate a farm for the purposes of supplying their restaurant and using the island’s precious agricultural land wisely. The farm features ochards of citrus trees, tropical fruits, apples, and an extensive vegetable garden. A culinary specialist will guide you through the farm while you handpick items for a one of a kind farm to table lunch. Continue on the slopes of upcountry Maui, 2,000 feet above sea level, amid the vast Ulupalakua Ranch to Hawaii’s first commercial winery and producer of awardwinning wine and champagne for a memorable wine tasting.
This puts the “WOW” in luau! Experience Hawaii’s best-kept secret with awe-inspiring, panoramic views of Diamond Head, Oahu’s southern coast, and Waikiki Beach. This worldclass luau is set in a beautiful 1920s estate, nestled in the secluded hills of Tantalus, high above the Honolulu skyline. Hawaiian dancers teach you about their culture, as they show you the Imu ceremony, how to hula and give you a taste of Polynesian traditions. This festive feast is removed from the bright lights and tourist masses of Waikiki. With VIP extras such as front row seating, this luau is like no other.

THE ULTIMATE FUSION CUISINE
EXPERIENCE UNIQUE HAWAIIAN FOOD & DRINK
H
awaii’s unique cuisine originated with the arrival of the Polynesians, bringing with them, taro, breadfruit, coconuts, sugarcane, chickens and pigs to name a few. Captain Cook introduced goats, English pigs, onions, melons and pumpkins. Pineapple and sugarcane became the most important sources of revenue for Hawaii, in turn, bringing in the next wave of immigrants. From the mid-1800s Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, Puerto Rican and Filipino flavours were introduced to Hawaii. Blend all these together, and you create the ultimate Hawaiian fusion cuisine we see today. From ceviche-like Poke to the Pipi Kaula short ribs and shave ice, the local food here is a pleasant surprise. Spam-tastic Hawaiians are the second largest consumers of spam. If you are in Honolulu in the last week of April - be sure to drop by the SPAM Jam - a huge festival dedicated to all things spam.
Old Lahaina Luau in Maui Visiting Hawaii isn’t complete without experiencing a luau. For an enchanting evening, experience the Old Lahaina Luau in Maui. Take in the culture and history of Hawaii by watching traditional arts and crafts demonstrations under the Hawaiian sunset, while sipping on a cocktail or two and feasting on a grand buffet, complete with a traditional ‘imu’ underground oven. The evening is rounded off with traditional Hawaiian music and a hula performance.
Try shave ice at Matsumoto’s in Haleiwa. Introduced to Hawaii by Japanese immigrants, who created them by shaving large blocks of ice using traditional heirloom swords.
Quench your thirst Sunbathing on the pristine beaches, with the crystal clear water lapping at your feet, wouldn’t be complete without a few cheeky drinks. Here are a few of Hawaii’s cocktails: Blue Hawaii This tropical blue cocktail will tantalize your taste buds, typically made with rum, pineapple juice, Curacao and sweet and sour mix served on the rocks. Mai Tai The classic Mai Tai is made from Jamaican Rum, Orgeat Syrup, Triple Sec and lime juice. There is numerous recipes of this quintessential tiki cocktail, with the more recent versions including pineapple juice. Lava Flow Watch the ‘lava’ flow when pouring this delicious cocktail. With mix of 2 rums, strawberries, banana, coconut cream and pineapple juice, this is a perfect refreshing beach treat!

OAHU Aloha! Welcome to the pulse of Hawaii, where you’ll witness a magical blend of sunny adventures and laid-back island relaxation. The pulse of Hawaii What may be most compelling about Oahu is that this small island magnificently highlights all the best of Hawaii. The culture, the mysticism, the welcoming locals, the lush tropical foliage, the fragrant flowers, the undeniably gorgeous beaches, the majestic mountains, the energizing cities – it’s all right here, just waiting for you to explore. Gather ye Oahu is home to approximately 75% of all Hawaiians, which is why it is also referred to as “The Gathering Place.” Oahu also offers more restaurants, shops, and nightlife than all the other Hawaiian islands combined. Surf’s up Hawaii is as well known for its perfect surfing conditions as it is for its beautiful beaches. You can get a taste of both on the North Shore, the surfing capital of the USA . Watch experts ride the curls while sunning yourself on the beaches. If you’re up for the challenge, there is no shortage of surf schools with experienced dudes waiting to help you ride the waves. Hang loose Oahu is the epicentre of nightlife in Hawaii, 365/7. You’ll find superb cuisine, live music, and fun dance spots, plus a variety of local restaurants, bars, and nightclubs from Waikiki Beach to Downtown Honolulu and Chinatown.

KAUAI Consider Kauai the ultimate gift to yourself and prepare to get lost in its natural wonder…a work of art you’ll never forget. Garden party Nicknamed the “Garden Island,” Kauai is green and flourishing with lush flora that runs from the mountains to the ocean. There are also more than 50 miles of white-sand beaches. Centuries of growth have formed tropical rainforests, forking rivers, and cascading waterfalls, as well as 3,567-foot deep Waimea Canyon and the 3,000-foot towering mountain cliffs overlooking the Na Pali Coast in the northwest. Picture this The movie mavens of Hollywood know a perfect location when they see it, and that’s why such memorable flicks as South Pacific, Jurassic Park, Avatar, Blue Hawaii, Hook, King Kong, Tropic Thunder, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Mighty Joe Young, Body Heat, The Man with the Golden Gun, and dozens more hits were filmed in Kauai. Sports report Kauai isn’t just for the spectacular views, its abundance of outdoor activities, including kayaking, snorkelling, hiking, fishing, windsurfing, biking, horseback riding, camping, ATV adventures, zip-line tours, helicopter and boat tours offer memorable vacation experiences for the whole family. Golfers can tee off on some of the world’s most celebrated courses – several of them on Condé Nast Traveler’s ranking of the “Top 100 Golf Resorts.”
Float your boat Get an up-close view of the towering cliffs and deep green valleys of the Na Pali Coast from a rigid-hull rubber raft. Western light Hike down to the century-old Kilauea Lighthouse, the westernmost lighthouse in US. Hey Joe Learn about Hawaiian coffee from the ground up at the state’s largest plantation (with the world’s largest wall-less coffee maze). Simply the best Get yourself to the sands of Hanalei Bay, named America’s best beach by acknowledged expert Stephen P. Leatherman – a/k/a “Dr. Beach.” Movie magic Join a tour of real-life Kauai “movie sets” where some of the screen’s biggest-ever hits were filmed. Paddle up Hop into a kayak or canoe to explore the waterfalls and landscapes of the Wailua, Hawaii’s largest navigable river. THE BIG ISLAND Think Big The Big Island is Hawaii’s biggest island. Coffee and orchid farms galore, stretches of black-sand beaches, theatrical volcanoes, white-capped mountains, sunshine yearround, star-lit enchantment are some of the marvels that make up this sensational island. A song of fire & ice Hawaii, nicknamed “The Big Island” to distinguish itself from the state, is inarguably the most diverse island in the chain. 8 of the world’s 13 climate zones exist here, encompassing flowing hot-lava deserts, lush jungles, snowcapped mountains, magical valleys, black, white and green-sand beaches, and coral forests. For the love of lava The world may be getting smaller, but day by day, the Big Island is getting bigger – literally! Twice the combined size of the other Hawaiian Islands, the Big Island is made up of 5 adjacent volcanoes, one of which (Kilauea) has been pouring lava into the ocean and actually creating new land since 1983. You can watch the eruption in real time from inside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and marvel at the fact that, elsewhere on the island, people are playing in the snow high atop Mauna Kea. Hip hip Hilo Hilo is a thriving and relaxing historical and cultural centre for residents and visitors. With dramatic waterfalls, blooming gardens, unique shops, and the ever-popular Hilo Farmers Market, this luscious region offers something for everyone!

Big Island experiences: Bean there, done that Don’t leave Hawaii without buying a few pounds of 100% Kona coffee beans (expensive, but worth every penny). Tee time Bring your clubs and hit the public fairways at Hilo Municipal Golf Course, a challenging 18-hole, par-71 gem. Cruisin’ Rent a car and take full advantage of the 50th state’s curvy roads and always-summer weather! Bloom town The Big Island is also known as The Orchid Isle, and you can tour dozens of orchid farms throughout. Under the waves Get the most out of your underwater experience – snorkelling is simple to learn and the most fun you can have without an oxygen tank. Underwater thrills A 48-passenger mini-submarine takes you 100 feet below the surface to see a stunning underwater coral reef. Beer here Yes, Hawaii has its own coffee, wine – and beer! Sample Hawaii’s first and only certified organic suds at Kona Brewing Co.

In some cases, failure to present required vaccination documentation (e.g. proof of Yellow Fever vaccination) may deny you entry into a country. We recommend that you consult with your local doctor, travel medical service or specialist vaccination clinic before commencing your travel. General health advice for the destination you wish to visit is also available on the website travel.gc.ca. TAXES: Certain taxes are mandatory in various countries. There may also be an additional local tax charged at some airports. All taxes are subject to change without notice. All prices and charges in this brochure include Canadian GST and/or provincial taxes/HST/QST where applicable and are charged in Canadian dollars unless otherwise indicated. DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENTS: A deposit holds services requested but does not guarantee prices. The price of your holiday may change at any time until the full payment is received and airline tickets are issued. Tickets will be issued approximately one (1) week prior to departure. If we have to change any part of your booking for reasons beyond our control, for example if an airline changes its schedules, if a hotelier overbooks hotel accommodation or if there are any changes in applicable taxes or charges, we will notify you. AMENDMENTS: An amendment is a change to an existing booking with the same inclusions. Any supplier or airline amendment fees will be charged. A transfer to another package may be treated as a cancellation and operator cancellation fees may apply. If the new package is of greater value and no operator fees apply, there will be no amendment/ reissue fee.
TERMS & CONDITIONS SUPPLIER CHANGE AND CANCELLATION FEES: Cancelled bookings may also incur supplier fees, which can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced. Supplier fees may also apply where a booking is changed and when tickets or documents are re-issued. Where we incur any liability for a supplier cancellation fee for any booking which you change or cancel, you agree to indemnify us for the amount of that fee. Where you seek a refund for a cancelled booking for which payment has been made to the supplier, we will not provide a refund to you until we receive the funds from that supplier. Refunds will be process in the same manner as the original payment except for cash payments where refunds will be processed by cheque. NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE OF HOLIDAY: All passengers are responsible for the cost of their own travel arrangements to and from their departure point (as set out in the brochure). The cost of anything not specifically noted as being included in the holiday package is at the passenger’s expense. PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS: Product descriptions featured in this brochure are based on current international hotel guides and information provided by hotels and suppliers. Any facilities shown as included are subject to change at any time. The standard of accommodation and other services is based on various factors, which are generally accepted as indicative of a certain class. However, GOGO does not guarantee the standard, class or fitness for purpose of that accommodation or service. MAPS & PHOTOGRAPHS: Maps are shown for general information and are an indication only; they may not necessarily reflect actual routings, hotel and attraction locations or services provided. Photographs show places in the geographic areas, but are not necessarily included in the holiday. Hotel room photographs are representative only, and the actual rooms occupied may vary in decor and inclusions from those shown. Many images are supplied courtesy of tourist bureaus, hotels and tour operators.
BAGGAGE: Carriers publish baggage allowances applicable for carriage over their own services. Allowances include cabin baggage and checked baggage. These allowances tend to be based on a weight allowance or a piece system. We recommend you check your baggage allowance carefully, as you may incur a charge for the carriage of baggage in excess of their free baggage allowance. Carriers also publish baggage safety notices, which detail items that cannot be carried or can only be carried in checked baggage.
