Ican’t believe that Mark and I have been members of the Arizona region for 12 years! Where has the time gone? How about a lot of driving tours, one or two AutoX/DEs, holiday parties, lots of member meetings and let’s not forget Porsches and Pancakes. We have also changed out our Porsche(s) during this time. How many you ask? Too many! The one I miss the most was our 1982 Porsche 911 SC in Rosewood Metallic. It was our first one and will always be my favorite. Loved having a stick shift.

Special thank you to Lisa and Richard Cvijanovich at Porsche Chandler for hosting our November member meeting. It was a great evening.

I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to write stories/articles and take pictures at our AZPCA events for Going Places, because without your participation there would be no monthly newsletter/magazine. Kudos to Peter Veitch, who drove down to Willcox just to take pictures at the DE event. After being the editor for over 5 years, it would be nice to have an assistant to help out. This month the winner for the Writer’s Monthly Award for Going Places is Jim Bultema for contributing “Giving Back-Mesa Community College Tour.” He will receive a $30. credit on MotorsportReg, which is good for one year to use on any AZPCA activity.

Wishing everyone a safe and healthy Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Boxing Day, Happy New Year and any other holiday I might have missed.
