9. Favorite memory with a car?

Favorite memory right now is that 1 day after I got it, we went on a drive with a local Audi club with a friend of mine. The drive was Phoenix to Cottonwood by way of Wickenburg/Yarnell Hill. We got separated from our group on the other side of Cottonwood and in trying to catch up, we both got pulled over for speeding. I think we were both doing more than 80 mph. During my explanation to the officer we were just trying to catch our group of cars, the car club passed us sitting on the side of the road. They were all honking and waving at us as they drove by. Evidently, they had all pulled over and we missed them and drove past them. The officer let us go with warnings and at the next stop, we were the talk of the group.

10. Why did you buy your Porsche?

I bought my 911 because I worked hard and earned it. It’s been a childhood dream to own one. I had posters on my walls when I was a kid and never thought I’d be able to own one. Now I’m grown up and life just positioned itself at the right time and the opportunity came up, so I jumped on it. I have owned A LOT of other cars in my lifetime and some I regret letting go, but this 911 will be with me for a very long time.

11. High school nickname?

None given

12. Top 3 cars you would own?

Porsche 911 Turbo S, Lambo and a Ferrari

An autocross is a closed-course driving event, and they are held in a large open area - such as a parking lot - where the objective is to safely complete the course in the shortest amount of time. New to Autocrossing? Parade is a great time to give it a try!

Don Murray has extended a gracious invitation to host AZPCA members for a private viewing of his remarkable collection.

The collection includes several extremely rare and historic Porsches.

We will view Don's collection of Ferraris, including a 1950 166 that was the 22nd road Ferrari ever built. Also Don's first Ferrari, the 400 Superamerica, which was on display at the Peterson museum twice. Don’s collection showcases a 1955 RS Spyder that won a Formula 2 race and his 1970 911 is in practically new condition with only 700 original miles. Some notable race cars in the collection are the Sebring Sprint that was raced by legendary driver Bruce McLaren.

This is a unique opportunity don't miss it.
