President’s Corner

Hello All:

Fall is upon us and the temperatures are cooling down so we can run our house A/C less often and it is great to have the top down on the car more often (for those of us who are fortunate enough to have a cabriolet).

We just completed the New Members event at the Culinary Dropout in Tempe last Saturday. About 80 people attended and about one third were new members. Our thanks go out to our Social Chair, Jen Bartling for organizing this awesome event and to all those who helped her. We also extend a welcome to the new members who attended and also those who could not attend. It is a great event and we hope to see you for next year’s event.

We also want to welcome two new individuals to the club’s Chair positions. Andy Jorgensen is now the Monthly Meeting Assistant Chair. He will be assisting Jim and Carole Bultema with Monthly Meetings. Cynthia Haag is now the Social Chair Assistant. She will assist Jen Bartling with the clubs’ social functions. Thanks to both of you for getting involved.
