The ASTROLOGICAL PATHWAY IS UNFOLDING
The dynamic events of 2020 have now led us into a new chapter on all fronts, including politically, healthwise and the global economic picture. Lessons are unfolding.
We are now in a transformative era, like we have never seen before in our lifetimes, or indeed in the history of the modern world.
I think most astrologers would agree, we are in the Age of Aquarius which embodies the egalitarian, the equality, the humanitarian, and the freethought characteristics. Now, and it is a BIG now, we are in the mode of choosing our own reality. The dismantling of structures and hierarchies that we have witnessed globally, and in Australia have been oppressive and dictatorial. We can now align ourselves with our own truths and beliefs and creates a wonderful opportunity to free ourselves from past constraints. Already the Aquarian energy has seen a change in our working environments where we have moved from working in the traditional office to home based environments.
This has created greater flexibility, and has improved our performance, output, productivity and really is the opportunity for a personal awakening like never before.
The significant astrological players for the next couple of years will be Saturn and Uranus.
Saturn has to do with structure, order and systems and Uranus wants to bring down the old and bring in the new.
The defining aspect of Uranus and Saturn, an event which only occurs every 22 years will see cracks in our foundations with the inclusions of more technological advancements and breakthroughs. This can also herald a time of real awakening. The challenge is to find the balance of what to keep what supports us and jettison the systems that are no longer personally useful. Most of us will be desirous of change and want to break free from what was felt as one of the most oppressive years in recent history. During the great depression of 1929, we also had similar planetary aspects, so it would be important to look back at history and reflect on how we could do better.
Uranus desires progress but needs to tear down old structures first therein lies the conflict with Saturn who is bound by tradition and limitations. Planetary cycles assist us in navigating our lives with hopefully the best outcomes. What is important is to remember that it is up to us individually to create an authentic and meaningful change for our futures. Our astrological transits are actually only signposts which guide us – it is up to us individually to create the best possible outcome for ourselves to navigate the ups and downs of life. As the famous playwright and thinker William Shakespeare once said, “The fault dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves that we are underlings”. Ultimately the outcome of our lives is based on our own actions with the guidance of our astrological cycles.
