It's summer 2020 and even though it didn't go as planned, I was able to still create this dope issue for you all! I never could have imagined this year going like this. I think this is the worst year I've ever personally seen the world experience but as I sat in the house waiting for some good news, I got more time to create an amazing 42nd publication and I couldn't be happier. Diamond White is one of my favorite artists and now after her role in Empire, actresses. She has such an amazing voice and with every song, she brings such powerful tones and relatable lyrics to each which is why I choose to have her cover this issue. Aside from the cover star we also have upcoming singer, Filah Lah-Lah, Kiiingsley, Blogger Angelique Jeffery, and other great articles. No matter how this year ends, people all around the world including you, made a difference this year and that's something to be happy about.

x you m at t er x You matter. That's the tweet. That's the feeling. That's the golden rule. That's the motto. That's everything. You just as much as anyone else deserves everything good the world has to offer. No matter your past. Every day you wake up, you have a chance to become the person you deserve to be. So do it. The journey might be hard, might take time, might cause you to cry, might make you wanna scream your fucking head off. It might also be lonely, cold, might cause you to want to run but no, keep fighting. Keep fighting the negative thoughts in your head that tell you that you are not good enough. Negative people don't deserve your attention. Don't let them into your peace. You are rare. Not one person on this planet can replace what you can bring to the table. Not one person can be you. Without you, the world is missing something and it won't ever be at its full potential until you are at yours. Get to it. You deserve it because you matter. You deserve it because you are human and you make mistakes. You deserve it because you are beautiful. You deserve it because you fuckin deserve it. No explanation. needed. You matter. That's it. - sincerely, a rant.

a talented actress and singer/songwriter, Diamond White has proven she is built for this with compelling bangers and her ability to take any role and make it unforgettable. Diamond started her journey at a young age and went on to compete on X-Factor, star in films, do voice over work and get a recurring role on the last season of Empire. I first saw Diamond on YouTube when she released her music video, 'Cleopatron'. After that I became obsessed and I wanted more. She inspires many with her fearless vulnerability she displays in her music. Her lyrics were always relatable and her vocals were captivating to say the least. I immediately had to get her for the cover. Can we also state, how photogenic she is? When I got the cover photos back, I couldn't breathe. I was blown away by her ability to not only be so original with her style but also not feed into the 'trends' or 'standards'.

keitaro FEATURED PHOTOGRAPHER

o cloward. LA based photographer, Keitaro Cloward has become one of my favorite photographers. I found his work on Instagram when I went looking for a photographer for t his issue. He can take any at mosphere and t urn it into a work of art . His eye for capt ivat ing photos and brilliant film direct ion make him one of t he best . He has worked wit h Volant Magazine, C-Heads Magaine, Flanelle, and many more. How did you get into t his creat ive field and what has it done for you being able to create for a living? "I don't know if I ever "got into this creative field", I think we are all born creative, it's more the strict and monotonous fields that you have to try hard to train your mind to get "into". Creativity is something we're born with, just some types of creativity aren't recognized as "creative" in the worlds we live in."

How do get your inspirat ion for t hese amazing shot s? "It's almost always a mutual thing. Either some place or thing one of us has seen inspires us. Or the person without knowing it is inspiration itself and then your mind throws on the scenes textures of light, color and feeling and then we try our best to make it happen." How has it been doing photography and creat ive direct ion in t he pandemic? "All the planning parts are done in the mind,

so only the actual shoot days are affected. And being creatives it's our regular lives to always find the new, restructure, and make a new a way. So the first months were hard and stressful but we're all learned how to stay safe and create." What advice would you give to ot hers in your field to help t hem get amazing shoot s in t his t ime? "Don't do anything you aren't comfortable doing."

What has been your favorite project to work on? "Any shoot that I have a lot of time."

What is t he most difficult shoot you worked on and why? "It was a shoot where we had a lot to do, in a very short window of time. And if we didn't do it all, since it was all connected, then everyone's time, etc would've all been wasted, stress , haha."

What are your t hought s on t he way American's are standing up for t he just ice of ot hers? "It's the minimum, and none of us should only be doing the minimum.
