READERS This year has been so wonderful and I continue to appreciate you guys every day. You make this job so worth doing. This issue is special because after three years of building this , I finally get to sell my first issue with the help of the wonderful Alexi Blue. It's such a dream come true to do these and interview all my favorite celebs and grow with you guys. I hope that in 2016 I get to live chat with you guys and do more awesome contest and even BETTER magazines and even help my readers get their dreams started. lina Baraz , 21 , is our featured artist this month. Why? What better way to end the year then with an artist who has the vocals of a soft wind blowing and the lyrics that make you think and make you wonder about love and life and feelings? Lay in the dark with your eyes close and just listen to her music. Gosh. So soothing.
If you look up her recent EP "Urban Flora" , you will blown away but you will also notice the name "Galimatias". Who is that you may ask, Well he and Alina met on soundcloud weirdly enough. He is the sick Danish producer behind the EP and with them two together is so beautiful .
Alina is originally from Cleveland , Ohio but now resides in LA. She has the soft voice of an angel and not really knowing much about her , after listening to her music , there is no way you can not love her. She already has a total of 19 Million plays and counting on her song "Fantasy" which is available on iTunes.

Best News Bloopers Now everyone loves a good ole news blooper real , those things are hilarious! This channel with 99 million views is a defiantly one of the number one channels for this. It may only have 77, 000 + subscribers but trust its worth hitting that subscribe button. Just look at that hilarious profile picture. (Geez, the thing s babies can do with their faces.) Pewdipie (real name Felix , 26) takes the spot again this year as the number one subscribed channel on YouTube. If you have not been paying attention , he is a Swedish web based comedian and producer, best known for his Let's Play commentaries and vlogs on his channel. He has been the number one channel since 2013. Wait what??? Yep , no one has surpassed him in 3 YEARS. There have been channels that came close but yeah you read right. Weirdly enough in July of 2014 , his channel surpassed RhiannaVEVO as the most viewed channel of all time! He surpassed with RiRi! Now why do you want to subscribe? Well because he is legit awesome! Not only does he have a cool personality and his video game plays are freaking hilarious but he also gives to charities , calls his fans the Bro Army and he isn't really focused on being famous , just mainly doing what he loves , which is more enough of a reason to subscribe.

Most people already know this soon to be legend but if you are a deep fan as most XO fans are then you know that you should be subscribed to his first channel titled "xoxxxoooxo". This was his first official channel before VEVO. It was created on Feb 24, 2011. Not only does it contain some old songs that new fans may not have heard of like Loft Music , Trust Issues Remix , The Knowing and even his live sets with Drake and more. The first fall tour , 2 years ago , is also up there if you missed it and haven't seen the amazing tour live! It's nice that you are subscribed to his VEVO but don't forget to go back a little further and subscribe to the original channel . There is also a fan channel on YouTube that is absolutely to die for . The channels name is Surfzeh. The channel is simply to showcase documentaries and things created by a fan but the work that they put into these videos makes you think this is real life and not just a fan who created them for fun! Our favorite video on there would have to be the The Weeknd Documentary , because it takes you from the beginning to the end literally. It's like a Weeknd education course video. It's enjoyable to watch and it is well put together.

Describe Alexi Blue in one sentence. I would say I'm young, upcoming pop artist from Los Angeles with hot pink dip dyed hair ready to share my original music with the world. (I feel like that was definitely a run-on sentence lol) How was it growing up in such a sunny city like LA? Im such an LA girl! I love every single thing out it, except for the traffic. I love the weather, the shopping, the restaurants, the beach...... everything is here. Its a casual, yet busy life. I also feel blessed to be born and raised in a city with so much opportunity for music. How did you get started? Basically, my music path started with I got my first guitar at 10 years old. That turned in to learning chords which turned into putting together songs, which turned into me singing and playing songs together as well as writing my own originals. Then I started performing at LA bars and clubs and open mic nights, which eventually evolved into posting acoustic videos on YouTube. Did you always know as a child that you wanted to be a singer? I think I and my parents knew it, without really knowing.... and what I mean by that is when I look back at videos of me when I was 3 and 4 years old before I could even read, i`d be singing every lyric to every Britney Spears song or Backstreet Boys song with perfect timing and pitch. Its funny because my mom and dad were the type of parents that had me in every single activity from swimming to soccer to tennis to gymnastics making sure I found something I loved, but the music was always what I went back to. You are really great at guitar. Who taught you how to play the guitar? Thank you so much! I`ve been playing guitar for almost 8 years now. I took lessons! I almost gave up at the beginning because it was so hard, but I had begged my parents for a guitar for so long and the deal was if I got a guitar, I had to stick with it for at least a year. So I did....and I stuck with it for way longer than a year obviously haha. You covered "Burn" two years ago. How did you feel when it hit 1million views? I remember the exact moment when "Burn" hit 1 Million views.... I was jumping up and down in my living room for at least 10 minutes straight. It was my first video to ever hit 1 million! I remember the days when my videos would get 50 likes in a couple weeks and id be so excited for that! So to watch my channel evolve and see my videos grow overtime has been insane and I'm so grateful.

You have four covers with over 1 Million views each. How does that feel? its crazy to think about! Thats so many people. I always put it this way.... the Staple Center in LA holds about 15,000 people. So imagine getting all the people who viewed each of my videos with 1 million views in the same room?! Thats a lot. Its a lot to comprehend and its so flattering. Alexi Blue was twelve when she recorded her first song in the studio. It was incredible seeing the way songs are created. And since that day, Ive always been excited walking into every studio Ive ever recorded at. It never gets old and it never will. Where did the name Alexi Blue come from? "Blue" is actually my middle name, and I thank my parents for giving me such a cool middle name lol. You wear Blue Stars on your face to rep your fan base. Where did that name and idea come from? yes ahh you noticed! I wear blue star jewels next to my eye in every one of my videos. Its my way of saying thank you to all of my blue stars and letting them know how much I appreciate them. Its my direct connection to them. For the name "Blue Stars", I wanted to call them something that represented how I felt about my fans. My middle name is Blue and to me, they are the brightest stars.... so they`re my blue stars! Alexi is also known for her signature dip dye hair with the blonde and tips pink. Ive had my pink dip dye hair for almost 4 years now! Its definitely my signature. I don't think I could picure myself without it anymore. and obviously, Its my attempt to confuse everyone because my name is "Alexi Blue" but my hair is pink haha. Alexi released her first EP in 2014 entitled "Live Your Life". I was so nervous!! It was my first time releasing full original songs of mine that were produced to my blue stars. It was one of the several magical steps on this music journey. I was 15 when I recorded and released my first EP so since it was so new to me, It was hard to express the sound I wanted for them. Thats why Im so excited about my latest single "Royalty" because it completely represents my brand new sound and the music I want to create.
