Actor and Comedian Sinbad arrived on the comedy scene with a “ hit’em in the face” style of comedy that has kept audiences laughing in the aisles for over the past two decades. He freely admits that he doesn’t know any jokes, except for the ones that his dad told him “back in the day”. Sinbad tells stories, and boy does he tell stories! The basis of his humor comes from everyone he meets, everything he’s seen, and everything he’s done. Ranked by Comedy Central as one of the top 100 standup comedians of all time, Sinbad has built a loyal following by taking audiences’ painful trials or embarassing tribulations of day-byday life, throwing them back in their faces, and causing an uproar of comedic hysteria. He can also make it sound profound without being profane. Not that he’s any kind of choirboy, but by being the son of a preacher man he decided to keep his comedy clean after his father attended one of his early performances. Up to that time he had been what he describes himself as ”semi-dirty”. Sinbad says that he learned that night that “funny is funny”, and that masters of dirty comedy such as Redd Foxx, Richard Pryor and Lenny Bruce could all work clean without losing a step. Sinbad is internationally known for his starring appearances in hit movies like “Jingle All the Way,” playing opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger; “Houseguest” co-starring the late Phil Hartman, and let’s not forget his film debut “Necessary Roughness”, where he did none of his own stunts! He has starred in the television sitcom “A Different World” as well as his own series, “The Sinbad Show”. Entertainment mogul Quincy Jones sought out Sinbad to host UPN’s first late night talk show, “Vibe”. He also recently appeared as a recurring guest star on the Showtime Original Series “Resurrection Blvd.” Sinbad

has even written a self-help book entitled “Sinbad’s Guide to Life: (Because I Know Everything)”. Sinbad has drawn legions of fans from his HBO highly-rated comedy specials; “Brain Damaged” (1991), “Afros & Bellbottoms” (1993), “Son of a Preacher Man” (1996), and “Nuthin But The Funk” (1998). His annual HBO music concert series (Oh! You didn’t know he was musical?) “Sinbad’s 70’s Soul Music Festival” received the prestigious NAACP Image Award consecutively for two years as the “Most Outstanding Variety Series/Special”. A one-time basketball standout for the University of Denver, Sinbad agrees that everything he needed to know for comedy, he learned from playing basketball. There are a number of things comedy and basketball have in common. One of the most important to Sinbad is “the competitive aspect that teaches you to never give up”. Now there is one part of Sinbad’s life that has been a well kept secret…he is a closet nerd. This comes in handy as a Master of Technology during private corporate engagements for clients such as: Intel Corporation, Breakaway Technologies, Apple and Microsoft as well as many others. As an intermediary to community focused technology solutions, Sinbad believes no one should be left behind in training and education. He has served as a spokesperson for the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME) encouraging minorities to pursue studies in science, math and engineering. In honor of his parents Donald & Louise Adkins, Sinbad has established an academic scholarship in their name at the esteemed Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. Showing his appreciation for our armed servicemen, the comedian/actor has participated on USO tours and most recently performed at the USO of Hampton Roads 2006 Patriotic Festival.

His physical skill and dazzling artistry have left fans slack-jawed ever since he turned pro at age14. Tony’s talents have brought skateboarding unprecedented mainstream attention and respect, which has helped legitimize all action sports. In fall of ’07 Tony launched his latest video game, Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground as well as his Secret Skatepark Tour 3 video. In November of ’06, Tony launched his Tony Hawk’s Project 8 and Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam. In 2005 Tony launched Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland (or T.H.A.W.) in the US as well as internationally. In 2004 Tony Hawk signed with Sirius Satellite Radio for a weekly radio show, Tony Hawk’s Demolition Radio. Commercial free and completely un-censored, Tony plays his fave music and speaks with his skater and celebrity friends. In the summer of 2006 Tony Hawk’s Boom

Boom HuckJam visited Six Flags locations across the US. Back in 2002, Boom Boom HuckJam took premier skaters, BMX bikers, motocross athletes and rock bands on a sensational 24city tour that packed arenas across the U.S. Since 2003 the tour has rolled into 31 cities each year across North America. Tabbed once again as the Favorite Male Athlete at the 2004 Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards (he won the same award in 2003 and in 2001, beating Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal and Tiger Woods), Tony has become a role model for fans of all ages. He was named Choice Male Athlete at the Teen Choice Awards 2004 and had won the same in 2001 and 2000. He is an active participant in the Make-aWish Foundation, which honored him as its Favorite Male Athlete in 2002. His own non-profit charity, the Tony Hawk Foundation, has awarded nearly $1,000,000 to help finance public skateparks in low-income areas nationwide. In 2001, his best-selling Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater video game, made by Activision, won three Blockbuster Awards for Favorite PlayStation, Dreamcast and GameBoy games. And, the Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards named it Best Video Game, at the same ceremony in which he was named Favorite Athlete. The Pro Skater series is now one of the best-selling video game franchises of all time, with more than 20 million units

sold worldwide. The game’s fifth release, in ‘03, was Tony Hawk’s Underground (or T.H.U.G.) and took virtual gaming to a new level, allowing players to scan in their own photos and skate as themselves. Now 39, Tony is best known for his “900” (two and a half spins above a 12-foot-high halfpipe), which existed only in theory until he landed it at the 1999 X-Games. In 2000, Tony wrote a best-selling autobiography, HAWK: Occupation Skateboarder, his first of three books. The same year, he won ESPN’s ESPY award for Best Alternative Athlete. The televised Tony Hawk’s Gigantic Skatepark Tour, took skaters/BMX bikers to skateparks across the U.S., became the highest rated on ESPN2.

Jonathan D. Krane A graduate of St. John’s College and Yale University School of Law, Jonathan D. Krane began his film career in 1980 through a partnership with director Blake Edwards. As co-founder of Blake Edwards Entertainment and an Executive

Producer on all of Edwards films, Krane learned the ins and outs of the business from a key position as producer/manager. Krane went on to establish Management Company Entertainment Group (MCEG), which was not only the first talent management/studio/production company, but also the highest performing entertainment stock of 1988. At MCEG, Krane focused on talent, putting Kim Basinger, Bruce Willis, and Bridget Fonda among many others in their first films. Following the phenomenal success of Look Who’s Talking, Krane, who throughout his esteemed career has produced close to 50 feature films, went on to cement his position as one of the leading producers in the industry generating high-profile and profitable independent and studio films. Most recently, Krane established The Edge, an innovative new film financing, production and worldwide distribution studio, along with partner veteran film financier Beau Rogers. With a revolutionary new win-win business model devised by Krane that maintains that studio quality feature films can be made on realistic budgets and make a profit. Imagine what he is going to do now that he is on The Edge.
