Hello Members, I hope you are all well and looking forward to the man in the big red suit dropping by next week. On behalf of everyone involved in the GBS I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy, Healthy and Safe Christmas and New Year period. Just to close off the years activities. We had a very enjoyable breakup in November and it was fantastic to see a couple of new members come along and meet everyone who was present. I hope to see them and a few more new faces at our meetings next year. We had a far bit of interest shown at the Exhibition in November. After our BBQ lunch we had a quick meeting with discussion on a program for 2019. Just the first two months locked in at the moment but I’ll try to have more locked in by the January Newsletter. We also drew the Exhibition Raffle prizes and for a change none of our Members names were drawn out. Congratulations to Jill from Castlemaine who won the Hamper. Marianne from Geelong area who won the Figurines and Ally from Ballarat who won the Books. Ally will be getting a visit from Santa on Xmas day to drop off her books but the rest were dropped off on the day as Marianne had a relative in Castlemaine. I have added some photos from the day and shortened the newsletter to two pages. Don’t forget about your Bonsai during the hot weeks ahead and I look forward to seeing you all come Sunday January 20th when we resume our meetings for 2019. Paul
