Particolarmente interessanti le due canne per la pesca in verticale sviluppate da Xavier Vella, uno dei più grandi pescatori di siluro europei.

Il trout area è in continua evoluzione e Herakles non poteva restare immobile, non è nel nostro stile. Canne più leggere, più sensibili, più bilanciate e più performanti. In una parola siamo davanti alla Genesi di una nuova serie con caratteristiche cosmetiche Japan Style, ma con un’anima generata dalle esigenze dei pescatori italiani ed Europei. Manici in sughero con rifiniture in EVA e rubber cork, e anelli Fuji K series sono solo dettagli. Le nuove azioni zittiscono i più scettici ed esaltano chi già amava la serie Area Elisium. Restano i toni di colore cangianti, ma si arricchisce notevolmente la scelta con canne nate per essere performanti nelle competizioni, ma soprattutto per emozionare.

The Trout Area technique is evolving all the time and Herakles is consequently evolving too. Lighter, more sensible, more balanced and more performing rods. The Genesi rod series, a Japan style look rod made to perfectly satisfy the Italian and European anglers needs. Questo ondulante dal corpo allungato è un vero asso nella manica per catturare salmonidi difficili e apatici. Anche recuperato lentamente a galla si muove ondeggiando sui lati con un movimento accentuato. La forma aerodinamica in abbinamento ad un ottimo rapporto peso/lunghezza permetono lunghi lanci alla ricerca dello strike. La misura 6gr monta un’ancoretta, mentre la misura 2,5gr monta un amo senza ardiglione per poter essere impiegata nelle aree sottoposte a regolamentazione specifica che vietano l’uso di ardiglione e ancoretta.

This enlonged body spoon is a real winner on lazy and difficult trout. Also slowly retrieved on the surface will sensibly roll with a marked side movement. The aero dynamic shape and the perfect weight/lenght ratio will allow to perform long casts looking for the strike. The 6 grams model is equipped with a treble hook, the 2,5 grams models is equipped with a barbless single hook for special regulation trout fishing waters where treble hooks are banned.

Si tratta di un ondulante da competizione, si lancia lontano, ha un ottimo movimento durante il recupero, in caduta e in trattenuta. Questo è il risultato della ricerca sul campo nelle più differenti condizioni, un’esca che cattura le trote in piena attività, ma anche quelle apatiche… Tutte le misure sono dotate di amo singolo senza ardiglione, che ormai è praticamente obbligatorio nei circuiti del Trout Area e nella maggior parte dei laghi e dei torrenti con pesca a regolamento specifico.

L’efficacia del Losko è una certezza, sia in termini di quantità, che termini di qualità delle catture.

The Losko series thanks to its spearhead shape is ideal for both the Trout Area and for all high selective predators fishing. It’s a competition spoon. It’s a long casting lure. Produce an excellent movement during retrieve, the fall and the hold up as well. This is the result of a field research. I was tested in different fishing conditions. This lure will catch the active trout as well as the apathetic ones. All the sizes are equipped with a single barbless hook which is by now necessary in the Trout Area’s competitions and in most of the lakes and streams with specific fishing regulations. Lo Yankee è un ondulante dal nuoto atipico ma facile da scagliare lontano. Questo artificiale ha veramente un nuoto diverso ed irregolare rispetto ai modelli che si trovano in commercio. Proprio durante le prove era chiamato scherzosamente, dai nostri tester in vari modi: il risolutore, l’apatico, secret spoon . Ciò per sottolineare la sua efficacia in situazioni di totale apatia. Un artificiale che rende veramente al meglio quando i pesci rifiutano gli altri ondulanti è il momento di usare lo Yankee!!!!

The Yankee is a peculiar swimming action spoon. It will easily reach long distance. This lure has a really different and irregular swimming action. It’s different from the common models found on the market. During the tests it was called jokingly: “the solver”, “the apathetic” or “the secret spoon”. All these names underline its effectiveness in all the different difficult situations. The Yankee give its best when the fishes reject the other spoons. That’s the time to use it!

Quindi sono stati studiati la distribuzione del peso e uno step nella parte inferiore per donare un’anima al metallo. Farà la differenza quando sarete costretti a pescare controvento, o quando dovrete raggiungere spot lontani e riuscire a pescare in superficie. Il materiale con cui è stato realizzato, lo rende pesante, ma il risultato è comunque un affondamento molto lento. La pesca a distanza in superfice non è più un problema con Vento LD. Avere uno stickbait veramente efficace era la nostra priorità. Per soddisfare questa necessità dovevamo ottenere movimenti adescanti in fase di caduta, di recupero e di twiccing. Avere un’esca che permettesse di coprire lunghe gittate era un’esigenza quasi scontata. L’Ispanic Shad si muove rollando e vobblando con il suo corpo dalla sezione triangolare. La coda con appendice a lancia continua a muoversi in maniera sinuosa, sia nel recupero, che in caduta. Con i vari tipi di recupero l’esca può simulare, sia il movimento esplosivo dei pesci inseguiti dal predatore, sia il movimento erratico di un pesce ferito, o ignaro di essere la prossima preda. Il movimento risulta naturale e adescante con inneschi texas spiombato, drop shot, jig head, wacky rig, e split shot. Il peso del corpo facilità lunghe gittate di lancio. Si tratta di un’esca versatile ed estremamente catturante di cui è stata avvertita la necessità pescando nei grandi laghi spagnoli da qui il suo nome, ma che è diventata la chiave di lettura per effettuare belle catture anche nelle acque italiane, sia dolci, che salate.

To introduce an effective stickbait pattern was our priority, to reach this target we decided to develop a soft bait that may be stimulating while diving, retrieving and twitching. Le tecniche finesse sono spesso figlie dell’agguato con lanci fulminei, pose leggere, movimenti misurati e inneschi studiati.

Dall’esperienza nelle acque più stressate e tecniche d’Europa arriva l’esca finesse nata per catturare. Corpo tondeggiante leggermente schiacciato e sottile per avere gittata di lancio, ma anche assetto impeccabile ed effetto trattenuta durante la fase di affondamento.

Il nome R (rattle) – snake, serpente a sonagli deriva dalla forma della coda, che ha due sezioni allargate nella parte terminale per aumentare movimento e vibrazioni. Durante i test, nel corso di gare e prove di gare è stato risolutivo montato su jig head, a drop shot, a wacky rig, a split shot, e shacky head. Può essere accorciato di 0.85’’ (poco più di 2cm) mantenendo la stessa azione, semplicemente tagliando il verme nella prima parte stretta della testa. L’esca presenta una estrema sinuosità abbinata a molta mobilità. Questo grazie alla sua forma che è stata studiata per essere idrodinamica e creare attrito su alcune parti al fine di provocare i movimenti e vibrazioni ritenuti i più adescanti dopo innumerevoli field test.

A slightly flat round narrow body for a long casting range, but also a perfect balance to be hold during the sinking. MIRROR SERIES

La serie Mirror comprende due softbaits dal corpo identico, ma dotate di code differenti. Il corpo trasparente rifinito con i colori dei più comuni pesci foraggio ha una lamina riflettente al suo interno necessaria per produrre flash luminosi molto adescanti. Da ciò il nome Mirror, specchio. Il Mirror Shad (3.2inch e 3.8inch) possiede la classica coda degli shad, che produce vibrazioni al minimo accenno di recupero. Il MIrror Stick (3.2 inch) ha invece una coda dritta che si muove veloce, ma provoca meno vibrazioni. Entrambe le esche sono ottime per essere usate a drop shot, montate su jig heads e in molti altri approcci finesse sia in mare che in acqua dolce.

The Mirror series includes two softbaits with the same body, but with different tails. The body is transparent and finished with the colors of the most common preys, and inside there is a reflective foil producing a very bright priming flash. Hence the name Mirror. The Mirror Shad (3.2inch e 3.8inch) has a classic shad tail which produces vibrations at the first hint of recovery. The Mirror Stick (3.2inch) has a straight tail that moves fast, but causes less vibration. Both these baits are excellent for the shot rigged drop, but also used on jig heads and in many other finesse techniques, both at sea and in fresh water.

This jig head series has been especially developed for both fresh water and in-shore and off-shore fishing by Xavier Vella, one of the most experienced catfish fishermen in Europe. The basic concept comes from catfish vertical fishing but has been already successfully tested in saltwater fishing too. When fishing a given spot where the predator hides, a feeding frenzy on both artificial soft bait or a live bait rigged on these jig heads, they will successfully be maneuvered on both straight or vertical retrieve. The artificial or live bait will be easily and securely rigged. The Garuda XX and the Benjo XX are specifically designed to perfectly fit on these jig heads.
