HAGANE GEAR
The HAGANE Drive Gear is produced by SHIMANO’s cold forging technology, without the need for additional machining. This results in gearing parts which retain the characteristics of the pure material, keeping it as strong as possible.
BENEFIT This delivers a long lasting smoothness, strength, lightness and power at the very heart of the reel. Traditional die cast machined gears are less durable under heavy loads, but HAGANE Gear is tremendously strong and durable.
